I Kablamoed the last thread, just cause.

Good podcast ladies, MB and Mac. I was so happy to see it downloading very, very early this morning. Kim is Da Bomb!

I had an idea about Desmond and Mikhail. Mikhail is wearing a Dharma jumpsuit just like Desmond did all those years. Maybe Desmond actually does see himself more like one of Mikhail, a potential unwitting dupe of Dharma and Kelvin, than like the LOSTies.

I also want to know how many languages you have to speak to be an Other. Mikhail speaks several, Klugh spoke at least 2, Naomi speaks 5, the Sheriff reads Chinese. Our other multi-lingual Island resident--Danielle. Does this prove she's an Other?

Kung Fu Fighting!!!!!! The number 1 most played song on my iPod!

Now I can't wait to go home and download!

Gin & Juice was referenced on the OLP today as well. You girls are on the ball.

Holli, thanks for kablamonating the other thread. needed to be done. now, i can rest easy and enjoy TLI. :)

JonJon, your poem is going great, and you had just the right amount of alcohol for the delivery. Do you have the first stanza posted somewhere so we can keep up with it as it progresses?

This is the place to say thanks to Kim & Aimee for another hilarious podcast. I completely forgot about the jizziness of DOC so that got a great laugh.

Jonjon (is that right?) wins the voicemail battle - I can't believe my lame hungover audio comment had to follow it! Apologies for the background noise but my team was making me happy for about the second time in my whole life and I promised to make the deadline.

Thanks to MB too for the Mac banter and for insisting he is not the Cobra :)

Shame on you Kim; that was my request!

Thanks all, I did have it up last night. I don't know what came over me, I had it finished early (!!!??!!?).

That's soooo not like me. It's been a good week all around!

PS> I want Dre from the Dharmalars You All Everybody segment to have his own show--that guy is funny!

I'd like to thank Long Island Ice Tea's for the help with my call, without them it couldn't have been possible.

"Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary,
Lying on my sandy floor, my back became some-what sore.
As the sun came up, nearly morning, suddenly there came a roaring
As of some one gently roaring, roaring at my jungle door.
'Tis some Monster,' I muttered, 'roaring at my jungle door -
Only this, and nothing more."

International-J said...

The rest of that poem is so freakin' hard to think of some stuff up from Lost, and keep the same feeling of the poem.

I've also, in running with poetry, have chosen to make the poem "Walrus and the Carpenter" from the book "From Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There" into a lost theme entitled: "Surgeon and the Con Artist"

elias said...

lovely stuff jonjon. I think I'll go back to some Poe - Cask of Amontillado perhaps.

PalmerEldritch said...

wasn't there an episode of Homicide about a Poe poem? (Poe-m?) aimee, back me up here.

Mike Campbell said...

I'm pretty excited for TV this week. Everything is back and everything is new, Veronica Mars was the only on my list that wasn't new.

Heroes should be good stuff tonight. Also How i met your mother is on tonight and NEW. VIVA LA END OF THE SEASON. but in a way. alas end of the season. Boo summer of crappy TV. although yay good weather for softball and wiffleball games!

YAY random rants.

memphish said...

I'm really not that excited about 5 years ahead Heroes tonight. It will be a bit of a wasted episode since presumably Hiro and Ando are going to head off this hideous future, resulting in this being a mere Pam Ewing dream. Plus I'm guessing they will have to cram every single Hero into it which means limited screen time for each.

Holli

Anonymous said...

I can't wait for Heroes tonight. I wanna see who's gone over to the Dark Side, and who's alive and who's dead.

Plus, Future Hiro and Goth Claire!!!!

So who'll be hotter, Goth Heroes Claire or Goth LOST Claire?

Finally finished listening - awesome as usual K&A!

Thanks for the song Kim :P ("Stranger in my House")
All I gotta say now re: the Morgan debate, is that I need to send you two some nice soft absorbant towels to wipe the egg you're going to have all over your faces when THE TRUTH SETS ME FREE! LOL!
(this is assuming Morgan and Mayes call in again)

and I totally agree about Dre on the Dharmalars - I wait for his calls anxiously. the Dre-cast - he should do it. I'd listen to that guy talk about paint drying.

JonJon - that is so much better than I could have done. can't wait for the premiere read of "The Surgeon and The Con Artist"

elias said...

Such a tough choice, Holli. I'll go for Goth Claire until I see this week's Heroes.

My MBK didn't go down well with Kim & Aimee - I was too cruel - so I'll refrain from suggesting one for you.

Anonymous said...

That's a tough one Holli. I'm gonna have to go with Lost Claire, if for no other reason that at least I can type that Lost Claire is hot without worrying that somewhere Chris Hansen is monitoring my postings.

elias said...

I of course meant the non-jailbait Lost Goth Claire. Honestly.

Stephanie said...

Barney visits TPIR sometime during Sweeps. Should be good tv.
I believe I was the first to call for the DreCast.

Ralph- said...

does anyone have a feeling that James Ford might see Anthony "Sawyer" Cooper in this week's episode and recognize him?

memphish said...

That would be a good twist Ralph, if Sawyer had some past opportunity to take out his arch-nemesis and didn't know he was his arch-nemesis. What if A Coop ran the screwed-up Tampa job?

I guess Locke would have a list of A Coop's known aliases from a police report following the little 8-story window fall incident?

Try editing. The show needs to be shorter by half.

Malcolm in RVA said...

now granted i havent seen every episode of the office. ive only been a faithful viewer since mid season 3, but whats soooo bad about toby? yeah, hes a loser, but he is much better than michael and dwight.

Ralph- said...

I do not agree, anonymous.

we have a whole week between lost episodes, the more the content, the better.

Anonymous said...

shut it. no editing needed.

Malcolm in RVA said...

oh, and i love the podcast, but i have a bit of constructive criticism.

i think aimee is recording in the grand canyon or something, because theres a bit of an echo sometimes. if you guys are recording over skype or something, you can put headphones on. if its just that your house/apartment is really echoey, and if it is, its no big deal. i was just wondering. it doesnt effect my listening, but it can be a bit bothersome at some times...

Anonymous said...

Just a FYI. The click here link on the main page links to last weeks episode.

Wesh said...

yeah I'm with ralph on that one.
The show shouldn't be any shorter!
Most people here like it long, right? *wink*

No seriously, the longer the better. It's not like they banter on and on about nothing. And even if they do happen to stray off topic once in a while, it's still enjoyable entertainment! And that's basicly why i listen to TLI and Dharmalars. And that's also why I've listened to the MYOKOMwSAS in the past. Those shows have also always been kinda long, and they were still awesome. Fuck, there were shows in which we were only promised a small percentage of lost content LOL :)

In short: if you want short analytic lost podcast, I'm sure you'll find such elsewhere on the webbiez.
Good day anonymous sir ^__-

Jordan said...

PalmerEldritch said...

i know i complained a bit about the two hour podcast a few weeks back but "anonymous" isn't me. :)

i love me some TLI. i got to listen at work in the afternoon, on the ride home, and then while exercising. nothing like working out to MB and Mac.

but i would caution that once podcasts get to about the two hour range, i start looking for parts to skip over. that said, TLI was well under the "Magic Two Hour Mark" and highly enjoyable.

i'm too lazy to read any of the books that aimee talks about but i really like the "Aimee's LOST Bookclub" segment anyhow. i'm reading vicariously through aimee!

holli, what's our name generator for this week? any ideas?

steph, thanks for calling in. i totally dig the accent and the points you brought up.

Wesh said...

True that, like Malcolm did.
And I also appreciate where Malcolm's comming from, but I guess sometimes Skype messes up, or the internet bandwidth is crowded, or other variable stuff, that isn't always in Aimee's or Kim's hands.

mb is hilarious trying so hard to clear his good name.

Mike Campbell said...

I have an idea for the New Lost Experience. The lady said that flight 815 was found and everyone was dead. I am sure there was a huge investigation and report after report. This summer we follow Richie Blaine, a conspiracy theorist who stumbles upon evidence that that might not be the true flight 815. We follow his clues as the people behind the conspiracy close in around him. I followed the last one and would follow that too.

Should I pitch it to ABC?

Sir William Osler, MD said...

Haha, I'm not MB. Yeah, he's really trying to clear his name. MB, I believe in you. I swear that Ralph said MB aren't his actual initials, because they got an email from him that showed his real name.

memphish said...

Mike, Given the production values of the last TLE, I'm certain ABC can't afford David Blaine. It makes me miss DJ Dan though.

I saw a funny theory somewhere that the Island pregnancy problem/solution may be linked to Apollo Candy Bars which we saw Kate eat and Sun decline. I haven't eaten mine. Yes, I went and got one last summer. They came to Memphis.

Sorry for the piling on MB. You've got to get someone to distract attention from you like the Bush administration does with Paris Hilton, Brittany Spears, Lindsey Lohan, Alberto Gonzales, etc.

HRG is officially my favorite character on tv.
Chills went up and down my spine every time Peter tossed someone across the room.
So, Nathan was Sylar the entire time?
I did not like Nikki and Peter together.
Who won the fight between Sylar and Peter? I guess we have to wait 5 years to find out.
I couldn't watch the whole thing.

When I say I couldn't watch the whole thing, I'm speaking of the Dancing Bush, not Heroes.

Anonymous said...

I'm ready to declare Hiro and Ando as the couple of the year...

Mike Campbell said...

the future sucks huh guys?

Mike Campbell said...

I am going to say that Nathan vs Sylar is a metaphor for Lost vs Heroes. Those two shows have the biggest cult following. At first Heroes was kinda slow but always good. Then it just got insane. This season Lost was kinda slow but become insane like always. there was no winner with Nathan was Sylar because Heroes and Lost are equal. We should just be happy that twice a week our minds can become melted by their twists and turns.

VIVA LA BOTH SHOWS

Sir William Osler, MD said...

Peter was fucking awesome. I'm a little confused on this issue, though: if Hiro kills Sylar, how will that stop the NYC from blowing up, as Peter was the one who blew up?

PalmerEldritch said...

KABLAMO!

PalmerEldritch said...

steph, are you recording something LOST related that i should be listening to?!

the Sylar reveal was fan-fucking-tastic.

i guess if Hiro kills Sylar then we'll just have to keep Peter away from Ted. or something. maybe Linderman plans to get Peter to hang out with Ted?

Peter Petrelli's new uber greasy hair is kind of ridiculous. sorry, ladies. get back to the Emo hair, Peter.

Anonymous said...

What I don't get is that in the future that we saw tonight on Heroes, how can Claire be alive?

I thought that in that particular future state, Claire had been killed by Sylar 5 years ago. And that's why Hiro had to go back and change history. Time travel makes my head hurt :-(

And 21 year old Claire was totally cute. So here's a real enigma: If a character on a show is 21, but the actress who plays that character is not 21, is it still wrong to think the character is attractive?

And I tried out a really cool new name generator, the George Foreman' Offspring name generator. My official George Foreman Offspring name is:
George Foreman, Jr.

And finally, another MBK:
Tobey Maguire
Hugh Jackman
Brandon Routh

and for the guys:
Kate Bosworth
Kiersten Dunst
Rebecca Romijn (I would have put Halle Berry here, but I didn't want her to be an overwhelming choice. sorry.)

~DA

p.s. oh yeah, next post I'll talk about LOST. I promise.

Anonymous said...

Anon, if I posted TLI without editing first, it would be about 2 1/2 hours--be thankful I do. I've been the first person to admit TLI run a tad long, but when I cut parts of it out, I feel like you guys (the most awesome listeners in the world) miss out on 1/2 the fun.

If you think our podcast should be half as long, listen to the first 45 min on Monday and save the rest for Tuesday. Win, Win.

I seriously hate it when people come to the blogspot and vent about something I do as a hobby. You're not forced to listen to it, you downloaded it. Mr (or Ms) Anonymous, if you'd like a 30 min podcast, you obviously have a computer, record one of your own, post it, we'll listen to it, and then see how you like it when another Anonymous poster returns the favour you've so kindly given to us.

I think Aimee and I have developed a show for people who like to talk about LOST and have casual conversations about non-LOST stuff. It bothers me when randoms post one-liner complaints on this blogspot and disrespect this little community we've got going on here.

*end of mini-rant*

As for Aimee's echo, I believe she in her garage when we record :P I didn't realize it was so distracting. I guess I'm use to it

Kimberly, you miss are a bad ass. You go girl! ;)

As for Heroes, DAMN! That was an awesome episode. I almost kinda want to stay in the future and continue that story. Although about half of everybody died, so I guess that would kinda suck. But that episode so rocked. I kinda wish they would've said it was 10 years into the future instead of just 5. Everybody sure changed a lot. I love how stereotypical comic book things had become. With everybody having taken sides. Bad ass show. Can't wait to see what happens next.

mb said...

Going back up the post:

RE: Anonymous (the rude post)
Totally 100% w/Kim on this - WTF are you complaining about? And I agree with Trevor - don't be a jerk - no reason not to offer advice respectfully using your name - I mean honestly, come on.

RE: The Morgan debate. This is amazing! This will give me laughter until my final day. Like Kim said - the only way this is going to get resolved is for Morgan and Mayes to call in again. I just hope and pray that when Morgan and Mayes hear this weeks episode, and read the blog and see the debate that has spawned - that they don't freak and say - "What the fuck - this is wack! I am outta here!" (cue Alec Guiness "they are our last hope..."). MORGAN, MAYES - if you're out there - the TLI community awaits your call. I imagine you are guaranteed to have your phone call played and featured in "The Others" segment. Its your 15 minutes of fame dudes!

Colin - Thanks! I remember Ralph saying that too, but I'm not sure where he got it from b/c my full initials are in fact MBW, so it is true that I share two initials with Morgan (BTW I couldn't BELIEVE it when I heard that - holy crap!) Maybe I had emailed Ralph from a different email account or something.

Wesh & Pamler - LOVE the Nanobots and Bad Twin idea - I would LOVE to have another me around. He can mow the lawn and do damn the dishes while I sit on my ass and watch Lost.

Jordan - Wow - apparently my comparison idea backfired - LOL! I was thinking that would be a slamdunk. (sigh) - I tried.

Holli - brilliant - why didn't I think of that. I just have to hire Karl Rove to deal with it - done. (yikes - I just scared the shit out of myself - excuse the momentary political rant, but I think Karl Rove might be evil undead or something, he's not a good person)

Steph - YES - read scenes. That could be an entire podcast! Or do a bit each week - like a serial. I would so tune in for that.

and
MBK:
Marry Rebecca Romijn, b/c that means banging her for the rest of my life (assuming I don't go the way of John Stamos)

Bang Kirsten Dunst - she's hot - but she was a vampire in her youth, and I want to be able to get up and leave b4 she sprouts fangs.

Kill Kate - only b/c I found fewer reasons to want to bang and/or marry her

I love you all - truly! - nighty night.

Anonymous said...

Who's awake then? I'm bored.

Wesh said...

arry Rebecca Romijn: cause i figure she can speak dutch

Kill Kate, cause it's a nice alliteration, plus i havent seen Blue Crush and wasn't impressed by Lois Lane.

memphish said...

So Heroes was better than I thought it would be, but then I had low expectations and it was mostly Hiro and Ando who as Trevor has accurately declared are "Couple of the Year."

People complain about LOST plot holes, Heroes was Swiss (or Swish as my son was calling it the other day) cheese, but that was okay. For example, why did the bomb kill some people in its radius, Micah, e.g., but not Nikki? Wouldn't everyone in NYC die if not right away, pretty soon from fallout? We can't all be regenerating Claire.

Nikki on LOST was a much better pole dancer than Nikki on Heroes. The idea of Nikki and Peter together is gross. Matt Parkman is my least favorite character in all of TV. Even Sylar didn't want to steal his annoying super-power. And does everyone bend time and space now, because in a day most of the characters were in NYC, DC, Vegas and Midland, Texas.

My favorite part was when Pres. Nathan/Sylar said "bring in the Professor." I really wanted it to be this professor instead of bearded Mohinder.

Holli

Anonymous said...

What about this professor: Professor Yaffle ?

PalmerEldritch said...

Marry Rebecca Romijn - gorsh, she's purty

Bang Kate Bosworth - recently put on some weight and is no longer skeletal

Kill Kirsten Dunst - there's a reason she's known as Snaggletooth or Snagglefug on the interwebs... *shudder*

Sylar and his Ice Powers rule.

memphish said...

I guess none of you gentlemen watch Ugly Betty where Rebecca Romijn plays a man who had a sex change operation. Even tho I know she's XX, watching her have sex last week was grossing me out.

As for the last MBK for the ladies

Marry - Hugh Jackman, no doubt
Bang - Brandon Routh cause he's not
Kill - Tobey Maguire, who I'm just not that into

Holli

PalmerEldritch said...

Holli, I'll pretend that I didn't read that about the Ugly Betty character. :)

Anonymous said...

Claire was saved in the current Heroes' timeline ... that's why FutureHiro was surprised that the bomb still went off, he thought that would fix the problem. And the fact that it was Peter who actually blew up NY wasn't known to anybody except for Peter & Sylar; so, FHiro THINKS that it was Sylar, but he's wrong; so even if Hiro kills Sylar, NY might still explode. I agree with Holli that the characters really do seem to travel around the country using BauerTime, but as for Nikki not being killed by the bomd ... we actually don't know who was there and who wasn't.

The girl helping Bennett in Texas ... was that the email girl?

PalmerEldritch said...

Hannah Gittelman. Or some such. WorldWideWebhead is the shit. Too bad she took a bullet to the head in the future. Oops.

Heroes ruled last night. I'm uber excited for LOST tomorrow night too.

Stephanie said...

Yeah, that was Wireless, the Israeli.
Palmer, I don't record anything Lost-related. I was trying to do some sort of game for Kim and Aimee using audio clips but my old, out of date video card isn't cooperating. Since Kim is such a fan of my voice, I thought I could just read the lines. Maybe I can get my friend, who sounds pretty hickish as well, to record with me.
I can't remember why now, but there was something about the Hatian's power that seemed inconsistant.
So, Nikki worked at the strip club that Peter managed? At the time I was thinking how strange it was that Nikki danced a club she owned or ran but maybe Peter managed it.
It was so weird seeing Hiro as a totally different character. Good job, Masi.
Marry Hugh Jackman because he's such a charming Brit.
Bang Brandon Routh- I don't know much about him except I do remember him from One Life to Live.
Kill Toby Maguire- I like his acting but there's something about him I can't put my finger on. He's not very masculine or something. I know that sounds strange since he's so well suited for the Spiderman role. There's just something boyish about him.
Kirsten Dunst is a cutie.
Rebecca Romijn- haven't liked her since she divorced John Stamos.
I hated Kate Bosworth in Superman.
Kim and Aimee, don't listen to the critics (not that I think you guys would pay them any attention). You can't expect perfect sound quality from Skype. I would say I'd like to hear 6 hours but you need to save something for the 8 month hiatus.

Anonymous said...

Stephanie, you're right, there is something inconsistent about The Haitian's powers. It's like, sometimes he's the eraser, sometimes he's power-blocking dude. It seems like those are two pretty distinct and different powers, yet he has them both. And sometimes the power blocking is kind of like a big black hole emanating off of him, affecting everyone in the area ... but Matt was able to use his power last night on Hiro while The Haitian was sitting right there.

And did it seem last night that Matt Parkman is no better at using his powers in the future than he is in the present?

Marry -- Kirsten Dunst ... I don't know anything about her besides what I've seen in the Spidey movies, so I automatically assume that she's got the Mary-Jane personality.

Bang -- RR ... so hot...

Kill -- Kate Bosworth ... that chick was terrible in Superman Returns.

PalmerEldritch said...

i was talking about the Haitian with ladyfriend last night whilst fast forwarding through a commercial. either the haitian has two powers (memory manipulation and power nullifying) or the power nullification is an aspect of the memory manipulation. maybe the dude temporarily blocks the memory of how to use the powers?

more than likely, he has two powers. i guess Hiro might too (teleportation and time travel). it's interesting to think about people naturally (not Peter or Sylar) having more than one power.

who wins in the battle of the precogs? Desmundo or Mr. Isaac?

Anonymous said...

I can kinda see Hiro's teleportation and time travel being different manifestations of the same power ... the Haitian's seem to be distinctly different from each other. The 'forgetting' how to use the power doesn't seem to work, either, because in a few cases, the power is pretty much intrinsic to who they are, and they don't really have to think about using it (Peter, Claire, Matt).

I'd pick Dez in the battle of the precogs. At least he tries to do something about what he sees.

And I think that, since in last night's episode Claire was 22, and therefore legal, that it's acceptable to say that she was hot as a brunette (hotter than LostClaire). Especially when she was wearing them cutoff short-shorts...

PalmerEldritch said...

she (theoretically in the future) did have some nice thick legs. (theoretical future ga-row!) but she's 5'1" or something.

oh. the other claire is 5'2". i guess that point is moot in the battle of the claires!

and i do think that the Haitian has two powers. which opens the door for more superpowery specials. like flight and heat vision or something instead of the (mostly) single powered specials that we have this season. and hiro's power has been described as Chronokinesis which i guess encompasses teleportation and time travel. so, he probably only has one power.

and Claire's fiance looked like some kind of weird ape man. freaked me out.

Stephanie said...

I thought the fiance could have been more attractive too.
If the powers are encoded in their DNA, why would concentration be a factor?
Happy Birthday, Elias!!

memphish said...

More Heroes -- Claire's fiance was really gross. Don't know what she sees in him.

Also why is the Haitian now a bad guy after he helped Claire and erased HRG?

The timeline this is very confusing. Was the cheerleader saved or not? Was HRG erased or not? This is why I hope LOST isn't going multi-timeline. I don't have a big enough room to make my own Hiro-string-time-mobile.

First, Happy Birthday Elias (pronounced "elly-us", not "el-eye-us")!

Second, sorry I missed out on Monday's conversations...it's turning out to be my crazy day at work now. Very cool that Kim was able to get the episode edited so quickly though.

Sometimes we do have Skype issues, and unfortunately my sound quality is the one that suffers since it's being fed into Kim's computer. I normally record in my garage, but to try and improve the quality, I'll start doing it upstairs in the office, and hope it works out better! :)

I'm really glad people are liking the book club, even if they're not actually reading the books themselves. I'm always happy to do the actual work myself!

I love Dre from the Dharmalars "you all everybody" segment also. If anyones laugh could compete with Producer Ryan's, it's that guy. He's freaking hilarious.

three of my favoritest blogspotters! steph, holli, and aimee. is there a pattern there? i guess i'm just horribly superficial and favor the ladies. oh well. at least i'm transparent, right?

aimee, i used to read books voraciously. not quite aimee-level reading but somewhat close. those were mainly Philip K. Dick and George RR Martin books. i'm desperately trying to get back into reading though. i imagine i'll have a lot more time to read when LOST is on hiatus. but you're serving as the role model i need. thanks, aimee. thaimee!

I think that everything we've seen on the show had happened in the future that we saw last night. It's just that FHiro isn't necessarily correct in predicting the consequences of his changes (like 'Save the cheerleader, save the world' ... turns out that saving the cheerleader alone doesn't mean that the world is saved). I assume that when FHiro fought Sylar in his past, that he couldn't kill Sylar because he had absorbed Claire's power. So FHiro sent Peter to save Claire; now when present Hiro fights Sylar, he can actually kill him and, in FHiro's mind, NY (& the world) will be saved. But he's wrong about that too, because it's really PETER who explodes not Sylar...

Christ this is confusing.

Another thing I noticed last night ... none of the irst generation was around (Lindermann, Sulu, Claude, etc). Wonder if they were still alive, or if they had been knocked off at some point.

Ok, when i first saw the trailers for Heroes, it seemed like a show i would get into... but missing the first few episodes, turned into missing almost all... and now trying to tune into the show... i don't get it. I can see that a large percentage of the lost viewers/bloggers like the show, so here's the question, is it really worth getting into when they either repeat or probably when the dvds come out... is it as cerebral as lost, or at least as fun? will i care!?

memphish said...

Kirklain, I watched the first 11 episodes of Heroes on my computer during the Save the Cheerleader/Are You on the List break. Once you get past the first couple of episodes it really picks up. It's no LOST though.

Marry Batman for the money and the mobile
Bang Mr. Freeze (but not the Arnie version) by default
Kill Robin cause yuck to sleeping with him

Which leads to the Batman actor M/B/K

Val Kilmer
George Clooney
Michael Keaton

Marry - George Clooney, what can I say, he used to play a surgeon
Bang - Val Kilmer
Kill - Michael Keaton - he just doesn't do it for me.

Batgirl – M obviously (assuming we’re talking Barbara Gordon)

Poison Ivy – K because she’s poison (literally) and psychotic

Catwoman – B but make sure you don’t leave any valuables where she can find them

PalmerEldritch said...

OK.

Which Catwoman? Which Batgirl? The prostitute Catwoman from the Frank Miller stuff? The wheelcharied Barbara Gordon (aka The Oracle)? So many comic book variables!

Marry Batgirl. C'mon, she's Batgirl.
Bang Poison Ivy. She's only poisonous when she wants to be. Let's just hope she doesn't want to be. Wait... is she part plant? That's fucked up. So, Bang Catwoman despite her possible prostitution cuz it's better than humping a fern.
Kill Poison Ivy cuz I'm not sure if she's part celery or not... :\

oh. and Harley Quinn beats them all.

Kirklain said...

well to answer my own:

M Batgirl... i'm thinking alicia silverstone version

B Catwomen... Halle and Michelle... meow!

K Poison Ivy... Uma doesn't do it for me... i think it's the nose

PalmerEldritch said...

Ladies, MBK;

Mr. Peanut
Mr. Bubble
Jolly Green Giant

Thorley Winston said...

oh. and Harley Quinn beats them all.

Heh, okay then new MBK

Harley Quinn
Huntress
Vickie Vale

KABLAMO!

The Batman M/B/K kinda depends on which version we're talking about. So if it's the Keaton/Kilmer/Clooney series...

Marry -- Catwoman (Michelle Pfieffer) ... yeah, she's nuts, and probably very clingy, but she's got that wild and kinky side too, and seems like a decent person down deep.

Bang -- Poison Ivy ... Uma Thurman; what more do you need to know?

Kill -- Batgirl ... Alicia Silverstone. That was was easy.

Old-school Adam West Batman:
Marry -- Batgirl (Yvonne Craig) ... bigtime childhood crush.

Bang -- Catwoman (Julie Newmar) ... I'm cherry-picking here among the Catwomen, but she was my fave.

Kill -- Poison Ivy ... was there a Poison Ivy on the old show?

Just a coupla things before I read all the posts (haven't watched Heroes yet):

Thank you Aimee for the birthday shout and don't worry about the pronunciation of my name - it's different in Greek too. I always wanted to be Sergeant El-eye-us from Platoon anyways.

I feel obliged to play MBK now that I put TLI on the spot so here goes:

Marry - Kate Bosworth, she seems wholesome etc.

Bang - Rebecca Romijn, because she's hot in Femme Fatale and my other half is Serbian.

Kill - Kirsten Dunst, because she's a bloody mess. I heard her nose no longer works.

Did Kim ever use razzledazzle or kablamo on her traffic reports?

kirklain, it's definitely worth catching up on. It's not nearly as cerebral as Lost, but it has an energy and sense of fun that Lost, imo, has been lacking a bit this year. Maybe it's just because it's the new kid on the block though, I don't know. It doesn't seem to take itself as seriously as Lost does, either.

For the new one:
Marry: Huntress
Bang: Harly Quinn (playing with fire, though; she's probably fantastic in bed, but she's homicidally crazy, and you take a chance that she's gonna invite the Joker to join in)
kill: Vicki Vale

PalmerEldritch said...

elias, thank goodness someone besides me does not share the Kirsten Dunst love. girl got snaggleteef like nobody's business. plus she dresses horribly and parks in handicap spots.

Julie Newmar. Sweet Jebus. Thanks, Trevor McFur. Julie Newmar rules. Err... old school Julie Newmar, that is.

MBK – “Smallville”

Lois Lane (Erica Durance)
Lana Lange (Kristin Kreuk)
Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack)

And for the ladies:

Clark Kent (Tom Welling)
Jonathan Kent (John Schneider)
Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum)

Anonymous said...

That Smallville one is tough. I jumped ship on that show before they introduced Lois Lane, so she'll be my kill. I've always thought that Lana was smokng hot, but I think that Chloe is sneaky hot, and she looks like a lot of fun. So... bang Lana, marry Chole.

MBK:

Marry Batgirl
Bang Catwoman
Kill Poison Ivy

no question
but:

Marry Michelle Pfiffer - had a crush on her since Married to the Mob (or I'd marry Halle Berry - doesn't matter)
Bang Uma
Kill Alicia (sorry - she usually kind of annoys me - I'm sure she's a great person)

PalmerEldritch said...

marry chloe - brains and snarkiness!
bang lana - great up close but when you zoom out she looks like a littl'un
kill lois - siliconriffic and smoker's face

See...

this is why I wanted to save the MBK for the "off-season"

true dat kim.

PalmerEldritch said...

We needs a new thread, Kim. We needs it!

To get us back on track. So, LOST predictions? Will 'Chutes ever introduce herself to our Lostaways?

Stephanie said...

Marry John Schneider because it's a life-long dream. Bang Clark. Kill Lex. But I do dig his bald head.

kirklain, from all our interest here you can see Heroes is worth your while. It's different from Lost to me. I was hooked right off the bat with Lost. It took many, many episodes before I felt any emotional connection to any character in Heroes. I suppose it's because of the lack of realism. At least Lost has a footing in reality, sort of. So, pick up the DVDs and be ready for next season.

Anonymous said...

We're gonna need more than just M/B/K to fill up the offseason ... that's a loooooong hiatus coming up...

Steph, you're right, Heroes really has no grounding in reality at all, and, it seems to be slipping further and further away from reality as the season goes on (in a good way, though). Of course, Lost is slowly losing it's grounding in reality as time goes by too...
