i personally cant think of any movies that i liked that a woman directed besides big...and i think the top 100 films of all time according to AFI are made by men

Lost in Translation was excellent, and A League of Their Own is pretty good too. And wasn't American Splendor co-directed by a man and a woman?

And wait a minute, one of the funniest movies ever made was directed by a female ... Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

i did enjoy lost in translation but HATED marie antoinette, which is currently overshadowing lost in translation because of the intense terribleness

The Virgin Suicides is my fav. from Sophie, followed by Lost In Translation....Havn't seen Marie Antoinette (didn't even know it was by her) but I heard either Ralph or Ben say it was shite on an earlier dramalars 'cast.

Don't waste you time with Marie Antionette, it was the worst movie I saw last year.

I wasn't all that impressed with On The Lot tonight. Kenny's movie was awful, and the guy who made "Get A Rhoom" was saved by stupid teenagers who voted for his STUPID video online. Zach is my boy!

I've heard that Marie Antoinette is godawful, and I've no plans to see it. But lots of good directors have made some crummy movies; hopefully she comes out stronger on the others ide.

kim, i really like zach, hes a very clever director, I also liked the one about farting, i think it was called second chance, tht one was really clever

I also like jess, shes got a unique vision and would like to see what she could do in a genre she would feel more comfortable in, which didnt seem like drama.

Casey, Jessica is the one who just graduated, right?

I liked her idea, but it wasn't executed well. I expected more from her (like the judges said). I thought she would have made a better movie than that. I just can't stand Kenny--I want him OUT

god i hate kenny, i said it earlier, i hate people who think they are too good for film school, usually someone who keeps saying i dont need film school is someone who needs to go to film school because they have no idea how film production actually works

and they are usually terrible, kick his ass out

What the hiatus drives people to, LOST and the NHL.
