i recently downloaded planet of the apes. my old cd of it was stolen, i have to say, some of Goldsmith's best work.

Great stuff, Jimmy, as uaual.

After seeing the promo for next week, it looks like Charlie goes from the good kind of threesome to the bad kind.

GREAT BEGINNING Jimmy!! LOL - I had the volume up a bit too loud and now I don't need my coffee :)

How is getting pistol whipped fun?

Awesome seg Jimmy. Locke's theme, more than any other character's I think seems to aurally embody the whole show for me. It has the gravity and mystery that I associate with Lost, and does it in a very few notes - that does seem to be one of Giachinnos strengths. But I would be really psyched to see what new theme he'd come up with for Locke (if that's the direction they go with him).

And what an excellent parallel between th Alpert/Ben scene and Goldsmith. Good stuff.

Thanks Jimmy!

God I can't wait for Season 3 CD to come out!

I haven't seen any images ... I thought they just slapped him around a bit. I admit, pistol whipping is a little bit extreme.

Lost - The Answers

Here's the link to that recap show featuring Cuseloff banter.

Check out this SNL sketch from last week about the Sopranos. I can't stand Molly Shannon, so a lot of it is annoying. But the beginning of it is funny as their discussion is about Lost.

Great job as usual, Jimmy!

jordan I thought the beginning of the sketch was hilarious mainly because of how close those guys looked like the actual characters, and then they started talking about lost and I was laughing even more, then molly shannon came out doing a character from 10 years ago and I was confused if it was a rerun or a new episode.

and I would like to add for anyone who hasnt seen my video PLEASE check it out and give me some feedback, I have gotten very little feedback thus far which is difficult for filmmakers, seeing as how feedback is necessary to improve the work...so, feedback please, and I hope you like it!

I found this SNL sketch pretty funny. Especially the end when it mocks the David Hasselhoff hamburger video.

Slow on the blogspot today. I wish I could access the new Jimmy. Not until 2330 will I be able to get my hands on it.

Casey, sorry I didn't give more feedback. First though, I actually was wondering what the target audience was for the piece? Is it mainly a resumé piece (for your website and maybe a reel), is it showing at a festival or, is it just something you did for fun (though I'm sure the number of hours it took wasn't ALL fun)?

Hey Steph,
like the new pic! Sorry you have to wait - that sucks. Out of curiousity, why - is it the new PC?

I'm at work. Ever heard of Websense, mb?

Ah! I had NOT heard of that - I keep forgetting that other workplaces aren't as 'open' to the cyber-world as I am. There's just 3 of us here - small company.

Glad that the new PC is working for you though!

I just remembered something from Spiderman that bothered me. Parker Posey. Because she was a baddie in Superman. That bothered me. Oh, and the one liners during the big, ending battle. A little corny.

In New Hampshire its $2.90

mb, it was a final project for one of my classes at the Massachusetts College of Art. earlier in the semester we had to make something based on our source of inspiration, of what makes us want to create, I chose film score.

then for the final we had to make a time based project about our source

the idea behind it is that the music can drive the whole thing even if you arent sure what is going on, and how it can also help make a movie stick with you, which is why i projected the scenes onto people

Ralph- said...

steph. i dont think that parker posey was in Spiderman

Stephanie said...

You are right, ralph-. Elizabeth Banks looks just like Parker Posey with dark hair.

Darryl Cunningham said...

Spider-Man would have been much improved with Parker Posey in it.

Jordan said...

Steph, At first I thought that was Parker Posey as well. And I too thought it was weird that she'd be in both movies. But at 2nd glance I was able to tell it wasn't her.

Anyone here seen Shrek the 3rd yet? I've read mixed reviews, but I'm curious how this group would like it.
