As i mentioned in the last thread, i would love to Red Card Hans Zimmer.

You're outta here fool!

elias said...

That looks like Bobo Vieri and Nesta.

I would like to see McMovie Bitch Michael Bay get his marching orders. I wasted £10 and 2 hours of my life watching The Island.

Ralph- said...

michael bay's my man. no one can make a popcorn movie the way that he does. I will Red Card Gore Verbinski for Pirates 3!

PastPablo said...

lmao @ rubber balls on trucks. Thought i was the only man who found that fuckin gross.

I'd like to Red Card Eminem, for going from the best lyricist to worst lyricist in one fell swoop. Retard.

elias said...

I'll respectfully disagree Ralph - The Island, Bad Boys II, Pearl Harbor, Armageddon, Bad Boys. Gallery of shame. Only The Rock was decent popcorn for me.

Gore's a McMovie Bitch too but I hate Al Gore more.

Mike Campbell said...

Sweet deal!!! A few threds ago i Red Carded Shrek 3. So i will again.

Ralph i hope Pirates three isn't that much of a bummer. So far summer has been letting me down :(

PastPablo said...

Yeah i need something more current, Em's fall from grace is 3 years old, but it scarred me that bad....i shall be back.

PastPablo said...

Got it. Delahoya. Fuck outta here!

Ralph- said...

i agree with Pearl Harbor.

Red Card the Hiatus!

Mike Campbell said...

Bad Boys 2 was one of the movies i had the most fun watching in a theater. People in the movie died two or three times.

PastPablo said...

Hiatus. agreed.

As an old guy, I have no idea how to add a photo of my ugly mug to my google blogger profile. How is this done? Thanks for any help you can offer.

PastPablo said...

Robert, go to scottandsteve.blogspot.com, (assuming your signed in) go to Dashboard (top right corner)click Edit Profile (top right corner), this interface let's you edit various facets of your profile but go specifically to Photograph/Photo Url, (assuming you have a photo bucket account etc) paste your pic link and upload. Savvy?

Colin, your Twins put up a good fight yesterday, but my Jays pulled through in 13.

I'm going to give the Red Card to corp. Executives that think that making sequel after sequel after sequel after etc.. is a good thing and that you can use the same story lines, same one liners, and same CHEESE FUCKING speeches over and over and over again.
I would like to red card anyone that decides to see Pirates 4, Shrek 4, or Spider-man 4(if there is one, and I can only guess yes) Being that all the 3's were crappy enough.
Oh and I guess I'll give a red card to those who think that if you have enough action and special effects and no story, it'll make a good movie.

Ok I think I'm done for now.

Ralph- said...

kim, that still doesnt explain why you went tot hte genius bar.... ; )

i could hear the Full House audience going "Woooooooooooo"

PastPablo said...

I got one, I'd like to Red Card jack's "Speech voice". You know the one, first he's speaking to rose/sun/kate normally, then he raises his voice to that "Motivationally loud so everyone can hear me" crap. Corny

International-J said...

I would like to Red card ABC for making me think that Traveler is a good show. I saw it, and it wasn't.

PastPablo said...

Hey Jonjon, all the previews abc kept trying to sell during the season finale were laughable at best. who comes up with this trash?

PastPablo said...

I'd like to Red Card Ralph, for having his away message on all the time (aim)

lol jk

Ralph- said...

that doesnt mean you cant try. :)

PastPablo said...

I've been trying to come up with something to red card. I got nothing. Must be a sign life is good. Have I ever seen trucks with balls? I don't think so.

Jordan said...

Red card to that unfunny bigot Carlos Mencia. On a 1-10 hate scale, I hate him an 11.

And please, if you actually like him, don't say anything. Because if you do, we cannot be friends. lol.

t-dot kim said...

Jordan I hate Man of Mencia. He a joke stealer and a loser.

Elias, it's a long story. It's not so much what he did as what he does. He's a mexican (not really) comedian who does nothing but race humor. Did you ever see The Chappelle Show? Well after Dave Chappelle left Comedy Central they replaced it with Mind of Menica, a very very not funny rip off. Where Chappelle did racial humor in a smart funny way, Mencia does it in a stupid hateful way. Chappelle told jokes where humor was often the subject, but he was always funny about it and did it in a way that made it seem ok to laugh at. Mencia just does, "Oh Beaners are lazy! And white people are nerds!" He's not funny at all and he basically uses his standing as a minority to allow him a free pass at being blatantly racist. It's the kind of humor that stupid racist rednecks laugh at. Now don't get offended if you like his show. It's just that for the most part, when people laugh at Mencia, they are laughing at the racist things because they agree. Chappelle made people laugh because he poked fun AT racism. Oh yeah. And Mencia is a big time joke stealing in his stand up. He's been called out on it a bunch. He's not funny on his own. He has to rip people off. Same for Dane Cook who also gets a red card from me! Suck my ass Dane Cock!

International-J said...

Don't forget Blue Collar Comedy

Jordan, you im'ing me would be even better than if you were my friend on myspace. I just wish I could do aim here at work. Oh, maybe I can.

Jordan said...

Elias, watch this. it explains the carlos mencia thing i just talked about. mencia is the fat mexican guy. the background to the video is this: Joe Rogan, who used to host fear factor, is also a stand up comic. He's been calling out mencia for years. He did a show the night of this video and he was introducing the next comic. the guy writes for mencias show. Rogan announced the guy as "works for carlos mentstealia as a joke. well mencia was in the audience which nobody was aware of. He went up on stage and called out rogan who had walke off already. The following ensued.

Joe Rogan/Calos Menstealia fight

Well - I guess I'd better get over to AIM.com. Lest I be red-carded - yikes

Trevor McFur said...

Never seen Mencia, so I can't comment on him ... there's more than enough commercials about him during The Daily Show and Colbert Report, though.

But I have a couple of easy red cards ... Rosie O'Donnell, first and foremost, for being a loudmouth bully. Second Barry Bonds, for being a jerk and a cheater, and being on the cusp of stealing sports' greatest record from one of it's all-time classiest players.

And I'm glad that I'm not the only one NOT on AIM.

Stephanie said...

Dude, Jordan is serious about his comedy.

I've come up with a red card. These boring nurses around here who don't watch tv. I went to the youngest male nurses in the hospital. "Do you watch Heroes, Lost, The Office?" "No, but I like that one guy's movies." I can't find anyone in real life to discuss these amazing finales with. I'm glad I have you guys.

International-J said...

stephsmith, I know exactly what you mean. Have really no friends that care about lost or the office or Heroes.

elias said...

all my British friends like is the office. they don't know nuthin.

the Barry Bonds thing is out of order I reckon - steroids didn't make him better.

Jordan said...

Yes I am serious about my comedy. Thank you Steph. hahaha.

Before I gave those guys red cards I was pondering giving one to Tyra Banks just to get Kim all in a tizzy. But I thought better of it seeing what happened last time we got on that subject. lol.

elias said...

jordan - what's your take on Barry Bonds?

Jordan said...

He's got a huge head.

elias said...

diplomatic. it's late so good evening all.

Ralph- said...

Barry Bonds was Caught Cheating, but for some reason he is still in the game, currently. Pete Rose was Banned for LIFE. i am not saying that pete rose is innocent, but either is Bonds.

RED CARD!

Stephanie said...

My goal for the week is to find a copy of Evil Dead. In my neck of the woods, will prove to be harder than it sounds.

Ralph- said...

Steph, you shouldnt have a problem. in the past 10 years it has almost become mainstream, especially with the success of the Spiderman Series

Stephanie said...

ralph-, you've never been to Alabama, have you? We're not mainstream.
The finale aired in the UK tonight. Wonder what percentage already watched it on the magic box?
Subway with a health rating of 88 or snack machine? How much change do I have? See!? This is what happens when you leave me by myself here.

Trevor McFur said...

I would tend to disagree that steroids and other performance enhancing drugs didn't make him better. While he was already a great, HoF caliber player, the drugs have probably increased his bat speed, allowing him to hit more home runs; they've also improved his recovery time, allowing him improved workouts and affects him gamplay. Anyway, for what it's worth, Bud Selig should be redcarded too for keeping his head in the sand about the whole steroid mess until Congress got involved.

PalmerEldritch said...

Red Card to my strange Space Alien Neighbor.

First, they're a weird 50something couple who only go outside wearing strange mosquito net head coverings so they end up looking like Star Wars Bounty Hunters. That's odd but not deserving of a Red Card. Walking his Weiner-Dog down the street to take a crap on my lawn would be a yellow card. But then looking around to make sure no one was looking and giving the dog a treat and kicking dirt over the dogshit so no one will notice instead of cleaning up after your dog deserves a big ol' RED CARD.

I'm OK with you dressing up as an alien. I'm OK with your dog taking a dump on my lawn once in a while if you clean up or at least act like your sorry. But I don't need a freakin' Space Alien hiding dogshit in my lawn. Red Card, you weird old man!

geeze i am behind here, went to the marlins mets game today and it is such a different experiance from a game at fenway, marlin fans do not care at all, there were times when at fenway the fans would start cheering and rallying for a strikeout and not once did it happen with the marlins.

and back to the morricone thing, i think of charles bronson because the part with the guitar sounded similar to the track "the man with the harmonica" from once upon a time in the west. red card for zimmer on my behalf as well...ii like the pirates themes but zimmer wasnt even the one who came up with them, should have stayed with badelt.

and a red card to myspace, i really cant stand it any more mainly because of facebook which is 10x better

Steph, I hope you can find Evil Dead. It's a great flick. I like 2 better. It's almost the exact same movie just done with a bigger budget. But you can't beat the charm of the first one. Especially after reading that Chins book and knowing how they went about making the film. I take it the book is what is leading you to look for the movie?

Is Alabama really that backwater? I've never been myself. The closest I've been is Florida & Kansas City, Mo. I went to KC last year with some friends for a Seahawks-Chiefs game. It was a different deal. The whole southeast is such a foreign place to me. Hopefully I will get a chance to experience more of it. It's amazing how little many of us know about so much of our country. I was chatting with elias on aim earlier and I was talking about how huge the u.s. is & how thats whats so cool about the blogspot in that i get a chance to chat with peeps from all over. I will openly admit to being a bit of a west coast snob when it comes to the midwest and south. But my interactions here with you Steph as well as Holli & others have taught me that not everybody out there is a stupid hick. Just most. lol.

casey_donahue said...

i preffer evil dead 2 myself, and i need to get if chins could kill

Trevor McFur said...

Both Evil Deads are Netflixable, from my own personal experience. I tend to like 2 better, it has this crazy, lets-just-do-whatever-the-hell-we-want vibe to it.

And don't overlook the more mainstream but still fun as hell 3rd chapter that is Army of Darkness.

casey_donahue said...

belated immature kablamo!

Here I had a chance for some 69 kablammo and completely missed it.

And I don't want to see a 'TWSS' posting following this one. :)

Stephanie said...

Casey, I'd be honored to pass it on to you if you wish. It would be a crime for you of all people at the blogspot to miss reading this literary masterpiece.
Jordan, they've just finished filming in Tenn and are in post-preduction. Evil Dead is not something I'd normally want to see but it's the next logical step. I see Evil Dead 2 is showing on cable this week. I intend to DVR it.

Stephanie said...

Yeah, Alabama is THAT bad.

Johnny Ghostwatch said...

This whole thread reminds me of our "celebrities-choose-which-items-should-
be-eradicated-from-existence" show "Room 101".

Steph, I know THIS bit of the UK population only watched LOST on the magic box because the people who bought LOST over here spent a lot of money to ensure that people can only see it by buying an expensive bit of kit and paying them a surprisingly high amount of money a month for channels full of advertising. I don't know how well known this aspect of the UK's LOST viewing is known over the pond. It used to be on Channel 4 which I guess is similar to what you'd call a network but now it's on a niche channel that's expensive to view.

So my red card goes to: British Sky Broadcasting - you poached a show from Channel 4 forcing me to finally become a regular downloader. My hard drive hates you, BSkyB

Johnny Ghostwatch said...

That's not my clearest post of all time, but you have to factor in that the 7 on the time down there should be a 3 and the PM should be an AM.

THEN it'll make sense.

Jordan said...

It made enough sense. Although nobody over here is going to know what Room 101 is. All I know is it's some tv show over there. I remember Ricky Gervais on company talking about it on his podcast.

Stephanie said...

People who walk around with those bluetooth things in their ears look like they just want people think they're important. Sorry, if anyone around here wears them. You look stupid. My brother is always trying to give one to me. I refuse.
Pablo, the point of that article is that Heroes has been the media darling all season. "Critics" have bashed Lost all year long. With the season finales, we clearly see which mind-fuck show came out on top. Now, I love my Peter Petrelli and my indestructable cheerleader but it can't beat Lindeluse's style of storytelling.

PalmerEldritch said...

steph, should we red card Kevin from AOTS for his continual bashing of LOST?

International-J said...

Kevin P. is a poor excuse of what is hip in the world today. He has accepted so many changes to AOTS that he is as bad as the people that changed it.
I have a blue tooth device, but I only use it when I'm driving for long periods of time. 1. Cause I have difficultly hearing the phone ring when I'm driving. 2. So I won't have to reach for my phone while I'm driving. Other than that time, I don't wear it.

PastPablo said...

I second the RED CARD for Dre from LA. His calls are torture.

A BIG RED CARD for people that take the elevator up or down just 1 floor when the stairs are right there.

Thats all for now.

International-J said...

sadace, I agree with the second red card. But for Dre in LA, he has the right to say what he wants multiple times for the Dharmalars. I don't mind it at all because I really don't listen to "You all everybody" anymore. I listen to voice mails from TLI and Jay and Jack.

Stephanie said...

Awe, Dre's entertaining. Saying he rambles a bit is a huge understatement but he cracks me up when he finally ends his 5 minute call and then the next call is from him. Let him get it all out.

PalmerEldritch said...

Then it's official: RED CARD TO KEVIN PERREIRA.

Unless he's responsible for hiring Olivia Munn... then it's only a Yellow Card.

Dre's calls are usually funny as all get out but I really can't make heads or tails of what he's saying. That said, the time he called in five or six times was a bit much. But at least he's calling in and sharing his thoughts. If people want to dilute the concentration of Dre calls, all they have to do is call in themselves.

And RED CARD to Roger Clemens. Man, I loved the guy in Earl Weaver Baseball for the Commodore 64 and Amiga 500, but how many times has your ass retired now? 3? 4? Just stay retired already. It's not like you need the money. Roger Clemens? RED CARD! Get the hell off the field. Go home and cry yourself to sleep on your pile of hundred dollar bills.

Another Red CARD to CBS for NOT cancelling the Ghost Whisperer. Jennifer Love Hewitt's breasts alone can only hold my attention for about two seasons until the plot needs to pick a direction and go with it.

A RED CARD for the 2007 hurricane season. It looks like another active year, and the Gulf Coast still hasn't recovered from 2004 and 2005.

Jordan said...

I won't stand for this Dre bashing! The dude is hilarious! And it's not like you can't simply fast forward. Come now people!

This one might cause some scuttlebutt, but I gotta do it. Red card to those annoying Mac ads. They are so obnoxious, "Ooh, I'm a Mac. Look how cool I am & how nerdy a PC is. Be cool, buy a Mac." I'm sorry. Not only do I find those commercials not funny and annoying, they are pretentious and the exact reason I have never gone Mac and probably never will. Mac users have such a superiority complex about their Macs. I get it, you like you Mac. You've told me. Now do you have to bring it up every time you talk about anything computer related? It's almost humorous how Apple's ads have taken on the personality of their user base. And before I finish, don't get me wrong. I don't have a problem with Macs themselves. They are fine machines. I would take offense to anything that had such a pretentious/"Look how hip we are" adverstising campaign.

And speaking of stupid commercials that I find dumb and annoying, but everybody else seems to like. Red card to our beloved ABC, home of Lost. Starting next fall they are turning those stupid Geico caveman commercials into a sitcom. I fear ever accidentally watching this show, for if I do, I think I just might revert back to the intelligence of a caveman.

Hey Kim,

Let me clarify the bluetooth red card a bit. I got no probs with you if you're using it because you're driving. I'd much rather you use a bluetooth then, than hold a razor to your ear.

The people that bug the shit out of me are the ones that NEVER FUCKING TAKE THEM OFF, and never seem to stop talking into them no matter where they are. What the fuck did you people do before cell phones?

~WB

p.s. No red cards for the Get a Mac ads. I kinda like them, although I can see why they might piss off some people. I just don't take them seriously.

But ditto to the red card for making a sit-com out of a television commercial. I sure wouldn't want to see the Mac guy and the PC guy get their own sitcom, so let's hope that the ratings for the caveman show don't look too good, or we just may have to live through some kind of "Odd Couple" rip-off with Mac & PC.

uh ... sorry, that was just a bad wing man joke. I don't really have a cousin in Mississippi.

How dare you red card me jonjon!

I am responsible for most well known poems.

How about a Red Card to feeding live rabbits to pythons during school hours?

Here is the You Tube version of that rabbit being eaten by the python. Where was this guy teaching when I was in High School?

Red card to Tuesday mornings...they are generally no good.

Double red card to Roger Clemens. Anyone who has to have his own set of special rules when playing MLB deserves one. Clemens: 1. Doesn't have to travel with the team. 2. Only has to be there for his starts. 3. Doesn't even have to stay with the rest of the team when around. Great way to build a great relationship with your teammates huh. I'm so glad the Red Sox didn't get him.

Trevor McFur said...

I'll second the red card to Tuesday mornings, particularly those, like today, that masquerade as a Monday.

Anonymous said...

it's worse for me guys - we had a bank holiday yesterday, so today is quite literally masquerading as a monday, the evil day of nothingness and headache.

Trevor McFur said...

No jelly ... yesterday was a holiday here too. :)

Red Card to all those celebrities that think that they are above the law.

Trevor McFur said...

I would say, red card to celebutantes in general.

Stephanie said...

How about this, jonjon? Red Card all the people who have made Lindsey Lohan a celebrity. At 19, she drove a car worth more than I'll ever make in my life. Red Card Lindsey Lohan's and Britney Spear's moms for thinking just because they're making tons of money, they don't need adult supervision as teens.

Anonymous said...

Trevor - what did you have a holiday for?

Trevor McFur said...

Yesterday was Memorial Day ... it's officially a holiday to remember deceased veterans, but it's kind of evolved into a start-of-summer party weekend.

Holli, that's why I don't listen to anything the actors say about the show. They know even less than we.

Funny Steph. I thought the same thing and I only watched a couple of minutes of it. Does ABC really have nothing better to air than The View? Can't it run According to Jim and George Lopez all day, every day?

I'm officially red carding According to Jim.

My AIM s/n is Angelbluestr, if anyone wants to add me.

I'm just going to Red card all general sitcoms that air today. The ones in the 90s were good.

Hello all...

I had the laziest 4 days of my recent life. Very nice, I hope all had a nice break. I feel there may be a few of us here who feel like we might have gotten our lives back ;)

Red Card:
This current blog format. I think next season we may need to BBS it (I know...starting all that shit up again!). Cheers,

Speaking of sitcoms, red card to laugh tracks, which do nothing but promote unfunny crap and stupid viewers being told when to laugh.

Also, red card to the tired sitcom formula of "fat stupid husband and smart sassy hot wife". Who thought this up and why has it been done a million times since? Those fat dudes would never in a million years get those women.

[ally] said...

So true, Jordan.

Cue laugh.

hahaha.

j/k.

Jordan said...

And regarding Jimmy's comment on the blogspot. I was big time against a bbs at first due to how much I like the oneness of this place as opposed to other bbs style forums. But I have slowly over the past few months warmed to the idea of change.

If there was a way to set up a bbs style forum where only a few people could start topic threads, then that might work. The same way the new threads are started on here. And if somebody had a good topic for a thread or a game we can play or something, then they could put in a request to one of the moderators. Just so it doesn't become like all those other ridiculous Lost message boards.
This is the one place I come accross on the interweb where most everybody gets along. I would hate to see that change.

casey_donahue said...

i agree with jordan, I used to post on the jay and jack boards alot, now i only do it every now and then because there is way too much going on over there, and it used to be a small group of people but new people post every day and i cant keep track of all of them, i know with the growing whats hottness of the dharmalars and the sure to be equally successful doodoo caca podcast, there will be a bunch of new people here, and this is just a blogspot! bbs looks like a good idea

Trevor McFur said...

Jordan, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that it's the fat comedians who keep pitching those TV shows.

Stephanie said...

We get along so well here because we're adults.

Trevor McFur said...

My wife would disagree with that one, Stephanie.

Stephanie said...

Ok, Trev, you have to elaborate on that one.

Jimmy said...

casey_donahue said...

yeah theyre more indie pop than indie rock, but their stuff is really catchy

Jordan said...

I agree with Steph. The higher average age of this place lends to things being much more civil. Although I don't know if I'd call all of us adults. lol. IMO, that's why it's important to keep a new forum similar to how things currently are. If just anybody and everybody can post all sorts of crap, you lose control. I feel that the "one big conversation" style of this place scares off stupid people.

[ally] said...

And we never wanna make it easy on the stupid people. So I agree with Jordan.

casey_donahue said...

i think thats the main thing to shoot for, keeping away the stupid people.

Anonymous said...

i still like the ebb and flow of conversation on the blogspot, although the new 200+ post average is kind of daunting.

Casey - i'm definitely going to check out the Rashida Jones video when my computer starts behaving better. Karen > Pam

I watched some movies this weekend:
-Pirates 3 - i really liked it. I didn't like it as much as the first 2, but had some fun and saw some cool shit.
-Hot Fuzz - solid comedy which is saying a lot since comedy is so dire now.

i got a belated birthday present in the mail today. Booberry cereal. Amazing stuff.

moral of that video. guy can't commit to a relationship with his new lady pal because his best friend is too possessive. Lady pal doesn't want a complicated relationship so she just goes for the cute blue muppet instead.

mb said...

I agree that the 'one conversation' nature of this board keeps the group of posters relatively small, I think b/c (and this sounds smartass but I'm serious) it requires a bit more commitment (of reading and time) to really get involved with this blog, which weeds out (most) of the people who would rather do a drive-by (whether it's a troll or not) than take the time to read what everyone has said (or at least a good CHUNK of stuff).
Becuase of this, there are times when any one of us needs to take a break from posting (like this weekend for me actually), or some just don't come as often, but I think there is still a sense that everyone here invests real time in contributing, which is very cool.

The flipside is we want to also be welcoming to new people who are interested in sharing their time. So the question is just - what is the balance. Perhaps it's what Aimee had mentioned a podcast or two ago, and others have mentioned here, about just having a limited number of threads which are only created by a few people.

Just my wordy thoughts

bloglove to all of you!

Trevor McFur said...

I think that a BBS would get out of control quickly ... I like the way it is now; it's not like you actually need to read every posting to get up to speed.

[ally] said...

agreed, trevor.

PastPablo said...

I post at a BBS board, and it is a CIRCUS, i enjoy this format because it's the complete opposite, ppl respect eachother and so forth. I truly believe you will lose that. I know your fanbases, etc are expanding so your in a dilema, but this seems more of a small community than anything else, wich i dig.

PastPablo said...

lol@ this being our utopian dharma initiative society. Go away, losties!

casey_donahue said...

im torn, theres pros and cons to both sides

we need to weigh them with a giant people scale...like on celebrity fit club

[ally] said...

let's get that giant people scale and figure this out once and for all!

elias said...

anyone seen The Last Seduction? It's on now and I'm gonna fall asleep to this classic.

BBS is inevitable but I agree new threads should only be started by the moderators.

Jimmy said...

Good points all.

I would imagine there will be no change immediately anyway as it will be less busy soon. If history repeats itself, the tumbleweed will start blowing through this blog by about Friday.

It will be interesting next season....I just think the 200 post pattern makes it a bit hard sometimes, even for the regulars.

casey_donahue said...

the post count has kept me away a couple times, a stressful week will do that.

Jordan said...

Speaking of post counts. That's also something I detest about BBS forums. Users have post counts under their names and people get all high and mighty about that nonsense as if more posts makes what they say more important than others. Adversely you have people with lesser post counts get defensive. Maybe we could disable that feature. It's grade school bullshit, and another example of how BBS's tend to bring out the child in people. I frequent a couple forums and it's ridiculous how childish grown up people can get.

Random red card to the girl at Taco Del Mar who made the crappiest Burrito for my lunch today.

PastPablo said...

Yeah, agreed and agreed, I guess it's inevitable. We can only do our part, ey?

PastPablo said...

Last week, i had the worst BK whopper ever, my damned top bun was broken in half......

Jordan said...

One last thing. I don't quite understand when people say that the post totals on these threads turns them off. I mean, this is basically just one meandering stream on consciousness. If you don't read it all, no biggy. Just catch up with the latest stuff so as to be able to take part in the current topic. If you are like some of us and feel obligated to read everything, what difference would a BBS make? You'll still have just as much to catch up on, if not more, just in a different format. That reason has nothing to do with why I think a BBS might not be a bad idea. I am not a huge fan of how this thing only uses the left side of the screen. It causes for a lot of extra scrolling. And it would be nice to be able to edit posts as well as post pictures.

PS - Not only did the girl make the crappiest burrito, it's like half the normal size. Grrr. I should go back and dump it in her lap and ask for my money back.

PastPablo said...

Yeah for some reason, I can't work this blogspot from my sidekick, it freezes up, being able to Quote posts would also be sick.

Or dump in her lap, jordan.

Stephanie said...

I guess the topic isn't going to change. Is a BBS what Jay and Jack have? If it is, and we do go to one, can we get one that's divided up a little better than theirs? I hate how the proboards are laid out.

PalmerEldritch said...

Red Card to scheduling a day off from work to take your girl to see Pirates 3 and then ending up sick as a dog and spending 12 hours in bed throwing up.

Of course, being sick also kept me away from the blogspot which only added insult to injury.

Stephanie said...

Palmer, get better soon. So, that's why we haven't changed subjects today.

Stephanie said...

I'm watching On the Lot. Why aren't there more female directors? Any opinions on the matter?

casey_donahue said...

its a male dominated industry, there arent very many female film majors at my school, i dont know why that is, i havent broken into the industry yet so i dont know why exactly there are so little female directors

PastPablo said...

I Don't know why there aren't more. The only one I can think of off of the top of my head is Sophia Copolla actually. I like her. Name some others if you know any.

PastPablo said...

Wasn't Peter Jackson's wife (forget her name lol ) co director or producer on the Rings trilogy? If so, I'm sure she had an equal hand in King Kong, etc.
