Wow! More Evangeline Lilly is a douche fodder.

I really liked this episode. I like it a lot more than the last one where I felt like everything had been telegraphed a mile and half ahead. I loved the misdirection with Ms. Littleton.

But I'll say it. The idea that Jin has been time skipping inside the Island radius for how many days now? really really bugs me. But on the plus side I like how they've stuck him into Rousseau's crew now. Though did we really need 10 minutes of French to figure that out? Guess we can get the Rousseau story we've wanted without Mira Furlan. Take that Island haters.

- weird Holli, i had the opposite reaction. Even though we had our suspicions about Widmore last week, i still liked the way that they revealed it. This week I felt like the writing/direction completely lacked an subtlety. Ajira Airways' introduction was as ham-fisted as Nikki & Paulo's. It's a set-up episode, I'll let it go.

I actually liked most of this episode. No kidding!

I didn't see Jin coming at all. Great reveal. On the other hand, saw Rousseau coming from a mile.
Also, liked that from the "previously on Lost" we assumed Claire's mom wanted Aaron.
Oh no. Is Sun going to shoot Ben? Fans will be up in arms if Michael Emerson isn't a permanent fixture anymore. So, no, Sun will not kill him.
So from what Faraday said, people with nosebleeds have been on the island for longer periods than those without nosebleeds?

For some reason Andrew I just didn't love last week's episode. In fact it bored me despite the fact that I'd seen no spoilers. The only moment I loved was the Charlie reveal. Some of it piqued my interest, but that was it.

Tonight in contrast had misdirection, a Sayid fight, a little Hurley, some Ben conniving. I agree that Ajira was over the top. I think the Rousseau stuff was too. I also didn't love that Sawyer watched Aaron's birth for so long. I would have preferred they left it at the hatch light. I was also ready to slug Jack when he claimed he could fix it all by talking to Claire's mom. Thankfully, he couldn't.

Anyone else hate how Kate calls herself Mum instead of Mom? Anyone from Iowa ever use that?

Holli

memphish said...

Forgot that length of time thing Stephanie. We know Juliet has been there 3+ years. Does that mean Charlotte and Miles were there longer? Why doesn't Miles know he's been there before? Or is the exposure to developing bodies greater?

Holli

t-dot kim said...

I agree with Evangeline Lily...I didn't find her douche-y in that clip

I totally liked the mis-direction with Claire's mum. I don't buy Jin floating around for hours on the random piece of wood--however, I like that he's with Rousseau.

t-dot kim said...

Kate says "Mum" instead of "Mom" b/c she's Canadian. She also says "aboat" instead of "about". I'm guilty of it too.

andrew. said...

- Miles = born on the island
- Jin somehow got blasted into the radius of the island. Our helicopter team should have seen him flying by
- Team Rousseau was a lot more modern than i expected. I guess this plays into the fact that Alex was only 16 and it's 1988. I'm looking forward to finding out about "the sickness"
- not-the-others in the canoe shooting at the time travellers, i'm going to guess that this is a recovery team from Alvar Hanso (remember him?!)

memphish said...

I figured that Kim, but it bugs me. Because Kate is from Iowa. The other thing about it though is that it's the term Claire used. Claire would refer to herself as Mummy. It's kind of Kate supplanting Claire not only in role but in name.

Holli
/yep, overthought that one

PalmerEldritch said...

they haven't really been skipping around for all that long, have they? have they even slept yet? it's just that they skip to day from night and back and forth.

i had a room full of people waiting for them all to fall into the water when they time-hopped while in the boat. :)

but it was good setup for Jin. they established with Faraday and the Zodiac that you'll time-hop if you're near the Island when it jumps and then they established that your boat will jump with you (for some reason) when our Time-Fuckers time-hopped with their boat. so, Jin's rescue was internally consistent.

LOOOOOOVED that they were so ham-handed with Rousseau.

"i'm french. i'm a french woman. i'm a french woman on the Island. i'm a french pregnant woman on the Island. i'm a french pregnant woman on the Island named Danielle Rousseau. ROUSSEAU."

they might as well have had her say "i love to make crazy traps in the jungle and chaining Iraqi guys to my electro-bed."

i guess that was for the people not quite as into LOST as we are. :)

Stephanie said...

How can I be expected to remember Alvar Hanso when I have this new Indian airline to be curious about?

"i'm french. i'm a french woman. i'm a french woman on the Island. i'm a french pregnant woman on the Island. i'm a french pregnant woman on the Island named Danielle Rousseau. ROUSSEAU."

And Palmer wins the thread.

Mr. Bill said...

Wow that was a good one.

The nose bleed thing is happening the opposite way that I thought it would.

The people who were exposed to the island earlier have nose bleeds first. So they have now established that Miles and Charlotte were on the island as children (I think we all accepted that already)and that Charlotte was on it earlier than Miles.

Kablammo!

PalmerEldritch said...

nosebleed by how long ago (relative to your personal age) you were on the Island first?

"but Miles' file says he's older than Charlotte. oh... 29 again, Charlotte?"

so, Miles is Pierre's son? and will talk to Ghost Dad sometime?

and Charlotte is... a DeGroot? or maybe just some Island rando's kid?

Stephanie said...

I say Charlotte is Ben and Annie's kid. But what do I know?

JoeSC said...

Really cool episode. Definitely caught off guard by Claire's mom... totally fooled! I really liked how they reintroduced Jin.

I wish Hurley got more face time, though. His 30 second scene in the pokey was one of the best moments in the episode. I've never seen anyone so happy to be behind bars!

That's what she said.

I liked this episode, more than last weeks. I thought it brought the story on a lot more, 5 of the O6 are together now, they just need Hurley and that seems well easy.

I'm liking Bad Ass Sun. She's definitely more intriguing than the rest of the O6 put together.

As soon as i heard the guys in that octangle raft (very similar to the one used in There's No Place Like Home, coincidence or left over prop?) speak French, i figured it would be Rousseau and her crew. Just like as soon as i saw that it was a body on that wood (TWSS, just before anybody else gets it) i knew it would be Jin. These things get a little bit too easy to figure out after 5 years...

I guess Norton of Agostini and Norton is an Other, just like that butch Butcher lady.

Room 133. 13 + 3 = 16. Those numbers are messing up my head.

Oh well... i need sleep really... it's 5.20am. bugger.

Malcolm in RVA said...

woah palmer! what if juliette shot at, like jack or something? i doubt it though. but how cool would that be?

i think the time travel works like this:

the white light flashes
you go to another time
you fuck around in that time for a while, and you can do whatever you want
the light flashes again, you go to another time, and everything in the previous time resets to it would as if you were never there. the only exception is special people like desmond or richard, who can remember stuff, as if it were a distant memory.

JoeSC said...

I think that's a great theory!

It's been mentioned on multiple occasions that you can't change the future, therefore if they are interacting with those in the past or future the original timeline must reset when they flash to another time.

That would further explain why Faraday said that Desmond was so special... Not just because he can have memories of these encounters, because he's the only one who can act on them and deviate from the pre-destined timeline.

scrdmnkydst said...

Is it just me who's getting a bit tired of the whole Timies getting into danger and right as it looks like they could be killed... boomf. Flash, then they're not in danger at all..

BORING.

andrew. said...

- Alirio, another good call on the Oceanic 6 being in the other canoe. I hope Juliet shot Ben.

- Also, i've decided that team Rousseau is also time travelling on the island. That's the only way that Jin gets to stay with them for any meaningful amount of time. Plus it sets up the temporal displacement hemoraging = the sickness and all of the frenchies going mad because they can't figure out why everything keeps changing on the island.

- i want to be clear that i didn't hate this episode. i just felt that the writing was very plain. "that's right Kate, i sent the lawyer." "why don't you tell me about those emotions that you felt when you saw Kate back there James." "I have this need to fix things remember? I'm promise I'm going to fix this thing." Plus, i'm probably just grumpy because I don't care about the Oceanic 6 story AT ALL.

JoeSC said...

I live spoiler free, including the next week preview, so I don't know if this is going to happen or not...

I just have to say, though, that I imagine that Sun is going to point her gun at Ben's head next week and Ben is going to talk her out of it...

If that's the case, I'm psyched to see what he says to her to change her mind... Does he play the Jin card???

JoeSC said...

I will admit, those scenes between Juliet and Sawyer were really, really unnecessary in my eyes.

Not only that, but I can't fathom Juliet giving a rat's ass about his feelings for Kate when they just got shot at and tossed around in a storm... that's my only MAJOR complaint with this episode.

mb said...

Wow - not bad at all. Liked it.

So, I guess Ms. Littleton's going to get curious now.

I didn't have a problem with Sawyer getting mesmerized by Kate and the birth scene. It would have been odd had he not reacted with a visible amount of emotion. And considering what a big scene that was in S.1, it seemed fitting that they hang with it a little longer. But I'm a sap, so...

And the more I think about it, I don't have a problem with Jin floating during the first three episodes (off camera - lol). It hasn't been that long has it? Like Palmer brought up, I don't think Dan & co. have even slept yet. And I really like the idea of Jin hanging with Rousseau & co., assuming that they will be flashing with him.

I liked Ben's reveal to Jack that he was behind the attempt to get Aaron - "um....yeah that was me. so SUE me"
(HA - get it....cause the lawyers...ahem.....(tap tap) is this thing on?)

I love how quickly things are getting paid off now. If this were Seas. 1-3 we'd be at least 3 more episodes along before learning anything about Norton & Augustini and the O6 would be getting the band back together in the season finale.

mb said...

"If that's the case, I'm psyched to see what he says to her to change her mind... Does he play the Jin card???"

Absolutely - that's the first thing I thought when I saw the gun. I imagine he'll use that card whether Sun points the gun or not. I am (perhaps incorrectly) assuming that Ben somehow knows Jin is alive.

mb said...

"Is it just me who's getting a bit tired of the whole Timies getting into danger and right as it looks like they could be killed... boomf. Flash, then they're not in danger at all.."

Yeah, I'm not sure how long they can even sustain the flashing thing from a narrative/storytelling point of view. I assume that the O6 coming back to the island will stop it.

Rrb said...

So I'm starting to think the Island wants Aaron to, A)Be Fat with the huge plates of food they put infront of the kid.
B) Choke to death on said food while everyone leaves him alone.

memphish said...

I too thought about the O6 being in the Outriggers, BUT they shoot at those Left Behind (LBs) first. They hit Sawyer's paddle, then Sawyer and Juliet swap and she shoots at them. If it is an O6 shooting I'll bet it's Kate because despite all her alleged prowess with a gun we haven't seen her hit anything or anyone yet. And if it is the O6 why hasn't their return stopped the skipping and why would Rose, Bernard, Vincent and the handful of Socks flee them?

The amount of time these flashes are consuming is one of the big mysteries to me. We know that Dan was gone for 2 hours between his flash with Desmond at the Hatch and getting back to the beach. Then they were attacked by the 1954 Others, who according to the pop-ups are the Island's indigenous people. Then they have time to be captured and capture Others and get back to their camp and get to the bomb and get back from the bomb all before the time skips again.

Yet this week the time skips near the Swan which they said is 15 minutes from the beach camp, and yet when they get back to the camp in 15 minutes, the Zodiac is gone, 2 outriggers are there and the camp is ransacked and the people on the outriggers are close enough to give chase in the outriggers albeit they had either been paddling a while before that happened, or Miles is really out of shape to be whining so soon. And boom it skips again.

I'm going to try to get over my Jin whining today and just move on. But they better do something really interesting with him, like have him skip through time with Rousseau's people to make me happier about it.

I do wonder if other people are skipping through time. Would Rousseau's group be the first non-Others we've seen? I still want an explanation for Juliet skipping but Cindy not.

Took you long enough Holli. Seeing as how this has been obvious since only forever ago. lol.

Jordan said...

I've pretty much made it a rule for myself that I don't theorize or try to "understand" the time travel stuff. Seeing as how it's a bunch of people arguing over the rules of something that doesn't exist. But one question from last night's ep. So if Sawyer was in the bushes watching Kate and Claire, does that mean he was always their? So theoretically was he "always" there? Seeing as how they are using this "all time periods exist at the same time on their own" thinking. Shouldn't that conceivably mean that back when we watched Aaron's birth, that Sawyer or some mysterious figure should've been off in the distance? But I'm guessing that would've been too much. Seeing as how that would imply that they actually were planning this time travel cop out nonsense all along. ;)

Who wants to bet that the people time skipping are going to end up as the whispers? Doesn't really make sense when you think about it. But it seems too convenient a way for them to explain yet another of their old mysteries.

As for Kate and Claire both saying "mum". You can blame it on the Brits. Both actresses come from former British colonies. Or in Canada's case, a wannabe one. :P As a child of a British mother, I used to say "mum" as well. But once I realized none of my friends said it, I was quick to try to not sound so foolish. lol.

I pretty much liked the episode. But Andrew is right. There were some ridiculous lines in this. Juliet saying to Sawyer, "Tell me about your feelings" was just clunky and awkward. "James, I thought we were having a small connection here for a moment. But it's obvious you still care for Kate. I am going to make you talk about it, so I don't continue to get my hopes up." And yeah, the Rousseau stuff was more than heavy handed. But welcome to Lost season 6. Seems they are extremely obvious with their reveals now. "Hey kid, I mean you, WIDMORE!" I think it's a concession the writers had to make when they were granted a final two seasons from ABC. "We'll give you all the episodes you want, and let you end it on your own terms. But you have to pander to the non-fans."

Not exactly sure as to why. But I found Kate to look really good in this ep. In the past I've said that I prefer dirty island Kate to future Kate. But I thought she looked really good. Not as purposely glamorous as in past flash forwards.

Ok. I have to randomly call somebody out possibly. I have no idea as to who. But I think there is somebody on this blog (regular or rando, don't know) who is spoiled and hinting at stuff that is about to happen on the show. How the heck did the topic of Jin just happen to come up on the day of his "reveal"? I remember briefly thinking in passing yesterday, "I wonder why this topic just happened to come up?" Maybe there's a better explanation for this. But seeing as how we've had a couple other instances similar to this lately, it has me wondering. I might need to be like Ralph and filter myself from all Lost talk around here. Hmmmmmm.

Was there any reference as to why the episode was titled "The Little Prince"? All I can think of is people fighting over Aaron. And there wasn't the Sawyer-Juliet sex scene that I've been waiting for, so...

Oh, and for whoever was joking/disgusted about people having to pay for GSPN garbage. A while back, when I first stumbled upon that Ustream site that Kim and Aimee are using now. I saw that good ol' Cliff does a live show there. BLECH! I really didn't need to know what him and his "wife" looked like. Even worse, I discovered that he has some other pocast called "Mr Podcast Man" or something stupid like that. And that he has a "business" in where he provides "Podcast consulting" services. For money. HAHAHAHAHA. I was going to link to it as a joke. But I remembered that I like most of the people here.

I guess that I am the only Jater left watching "Lost. ". No one found the "I've always been with you, Jack" line and more importantly, the look on Kate's face telling? She loves Jack, may have some lust for Sawyer, but belongs with Jack. The producers have almost said as much.

memphish said...

I found "I've always been with you" oh yeah, except for the cage sex and the rebound sex when I saw you with Juliet and the fact that I went to Othersville for my own reasons and wouldn't tell you what they are and the fact that I just told you I lost Sawyer completely baffling. If someone loved me like Kate loves Jack, I'd run. But Robert you're right that Kate somehow loves them both, but that's just something I don't buy. It just makes her seem slutty. And while Damon is a Jater, Carlton is a Skater.

What happened to the knee-jerk video @Dharmalars.net?

I think you're right Jordan that TPTB are telescoping reveals and such much more now b/c of less rabid fans who don't dissect the show. Personally it doesn't bother me (whether I have previous knowledge or not) but they just have so much crap to reveal from now until the end, that if they did it in ways that would trip US up, I think most of the audience would be confused. That's not a knock on casual viewers, the show needs them as well as us to get the ratings to stay on the air, it's just a fact of writing for broadcast television I think.

Stephanie said...

Now I'm distracted by wondering who my hubby is more like. He's a bit like a bad boy but he's dependable. He makes fun of me by calling me silly nicknames. He doesn't fix things- pictures leaning against the walls for 4 years. My hubby is Sawyer.
I don't care who she ends up with. I'm so sick of her.

Jimmy, I feel that way too. The trouble with getting so many answers is they seem to be a bit lazy and uninteresting at the way they are going about it.

RE: why this episode was titled the Little Prince, it's kind of weak but I think it was just referring to Aaron - considering we re-watched his birth and Kate's storyline was about him. Not sure though - thoughts?

I can't remember if someone mentioned this already:
One thing that refers directly to the episode title is the box that Locke found at the beach camp of Rousseau's team which had BESIXDOUZE printed on it. BE-SIX-DOUZE is french for B-612 , which is the name of an asteroid that was the fictional home of the character "The Little Prince" in the book of the same name ("Le Petit Prince").

There is also an ACTUAL asteroid named B-612 (named in 1993 after the asteroid in the book)

Thats a good way of putting it, Steph.

I also understand that 98% of viewers don't know the show and theorize the way we do. So a lot of these reveals won't seem so cheesy etc. IOt's the flip side of being so into the show...it takes an enormous amount to impress us!

Kate:

I totally understand that people can love two people, or lust for two people (or more) for that matter..and act on those impulses. And I will never pass judgment on someone based on this, or whether I feel they are being slutty or whatever. However...if I was Jack and I heard the "I've always been with you, Jack" line my first thoughts would be "Yeah...except when you need a shag". I find this Sawyer, Kate, Jack thing as tedious as it has ever been.

I'm rooting for Sawyer and Juliet to hook up and fall for each other. Then Kate, who has been playing Jack and Sawyer based on how she feels at the moment, finally realizes (as she has a couple times now IMO) that while Jack is the caretaker she thinks she should be drawn to, that Sawyer is the one who truly loves her. But when she goes to tell Sawyer her revelation, she finds Sawyer and Juliet together. And she's ditched Jack one too many times now. That's what you get for thinking you can play with mens' emotions and flip flop back and forth!

Won't happen. But I think it would be cool as well as just.

Not to get back into the Skater/Jater debate for the millionth time. But Jack cares for Kate and wants to take care of her. Sawyer loves Kate. Big difference.

PalmerEldritch said...

ok, not really. don't punch ladies in the face. that's mean. but jack should have called shenanigans on her.

oh. and as for Rousseau, i shit you not, when i got to work and started talking LOST with everyone, a perfectly intelligent person asked "What's up with that French lady with Jin?"

so, as ham handed as it was, some people apparently need to be beaten about the head and neck with what others see as obvious.

Pretty funny when you think about it. I know the show doesn't even try to act like the LCG's matter. But think about how dramatic and impactful the main characters deaths are to the 815ers. Then think about when LCG's are killed. They don't even blink.

I'm assuming that the O6 will end up back on the island sooner or later, and if Ben's comment to Jack that he's never coming back applies to Sun as well (not sure it does), then - sucks to be Ji-Yeon. Unless, she is needed on island as well. Though, Ben hasn't asked for her has he.

They'll probably just go get her w/the sub and live in one of the "family" cabins. She can marry Aaron and never have children :(

I guess i'm a jater. I feel for Sawyer because of the whole unrequited love thing but he has a serious case of muppet-face, so i can't really take him seriously. Also, i hope fickle Kate becomes an old spinster, cat-lady.

PalmerEldritch said...

Sawyer has come a long way from being an asshole back in his pre-Island days. but he was also an asshole when he stole all the guns and had Charlie kidnap Sun...

Jack's a bit of a control freak but he only really became a complete asshole when he started seeing his dead dad hanging around the office and then Kate made him keep shaving his chest all the time and wouldn't just tell Jack that Sawyer has a kid.

of course, Kate is kind of a jerk for playing both of them. but they both knew it was happening. so...

i dunno. shit like this bugs the crap out of me. on BSG too. maybe we can just get Kate and Starbuck together?

Jordan said...

I was just going to come up with a theory that Ji-Yeon is Miles. But then I remembered that it was a girl. Although...

memphish said...

Damn! At least Starbuck tells you it's just for sex. And she's got her own no divorce rule. I just hope she shoots some more people soon. Unlike Kate, she rarely misses.

Dharmawhip wrestling?

Jordan said...

Yeah, Sawyer was a jerk at the beginning on the island. And although it was only a couple months ago island time. As far as the narrative of the show is concerned, that was ages ago, and he is a changed man. Besides the cutesy nicknames and sarcastic asides, there is nothing negative about his current character.

mb said...

oop...that was meant in response to Palmer re: Starbuck and Kate (man the posts come fast sometimes - TWSS)

Jordan - that WOULD be an incredibly cool theory

It's cool to talk about boots in Canada.

People will ask, "Why are you talking about a boot?" And you'll ask why they said about two times.

Jordan said...

No, but it is cool to talk about boats.

I know this seems random but I was watching AI last night and finally figured out what it is that Paula Abdul reminds me of. She looks like a Sleestack.

PalmerEldritch said...

heheheheheheheheheh. now, i can't shake that image. AWESOME.

/forced to watch AI last night
//couldnt veto the girlfriend and our guest

I wouldn't be opposed to seeing a Sawyer and Juliet "Let's get over Jack and Kate cause they're not coming back" shag.

PalmerEldritch said...

let's just hope they don't time-hop to any place embarassing in the middle of it.

Mr. Bill said...

That would be funny!

and it would sound like this.

Chris JC said...

Hooray! I finally saw.

Am I the only one thinking that Sun is there to take a shot at Jack, and not at Ben at all?

I like Sawyer as he is now, as was said earlier he's now a totally on the level guy.

Holloway doesn't get enough credit, the face work during the birth scene was excellent.

SO: It's time for the C-3PO question...

Does older Rousseau ever meet Jin? And if so, why does she not recognise him? HE certainly knows who SHE is.

I guess even if she does, we can't hold to it too much until we see what happens in the coming episodes. They may only be together for a couple of minutes.

PalmerEldritch said...

it could just be that she thought Jin was a common Korean name and it had been 16 years.

or it could be that she's batshiat crazy.

or maybe Faraday tells her not to mention it to anyone to keep the timeline secure. :p

Mr. Bill said...

The ladies are live now here

PalmerEldritch said...

also, the hunky Korean named Jin she met in the past spoke English and crashed on a boat. the hunky Korean named Jin she met 16 years later didnt speak English and crashed on an Island.

and he was around the same age as the Jin who crashed 16 years older. it's possible she just thought it was yet another weird coinky dink of the Island.

memphish said...

Did Jin and Danielle ever meet other than in the generic they were both on the beach the day of the raft launch kind of way? That's the only time Danielle came to the beach camp wasn't it?

Seriously though, I'm absolutely convinced that Jin will cut off Montand's hand.

this was foreshadowed by the whole Michael wearing Jin's watch, almost getting his hand cut off early in season 1.

mb said...

was Montand the one acting less friendly with Jin onshore?

PalmerEldritch said...

and what great symbolism with the object being fought over being a device that monitors TIME...

truly, they were planning the time travel angle since season one!

Alirio said...

Montand was the jerk-ish one berating Jin, yes.

And by jerk-ish, I mean he was doing the best Parisian waiter impression I've EVER seen! :-)

Good work, Herlihy. There aren't enough "Special K" jokes on here.

"Asteroid B-612" is also a nationally airplayed track by your favourite, UK based, Blogspot related, three-piece Electronica group:

Also - despite being a music guy I very rarely pay a huge amount of attention to the themes, allowing them to work subliminally, but since Jimmy and Ralph were talking about new themes earlier - was one of them the big thing that kicked in after "we have to go back to the Orchid"?

John V. Holder III said...

To piggyback on what mb said, D+C said (in their way) on their podcast that the "The Little Prince" book and this episode were directly related.

Damn it! I forgot about TLI recording last night. Thursday is just such a huge tv night: Smallville, Supernatural, The Office, 30 Rock, Burn Notice, the First 48 and trying to watch Che on PPV.

I'm ordering t shirts. I'm thinking about getting the pink TLI that Ally got. I can't make up my mind between the yellow and the black Dharmalars. I think yellow.

Chris JC said...

I like the yellow, but that might only be because it's the one I've got - but it's a bold colour choice when you're out and about especially when it's new and it hasn't been dulled by washing.

It's burger day? Curses - I had penne pasta bolognese.

PalmerEldritch said...

black or goldenrod, you can't go wrong with either one.

the goldenrod one is very loud and will gets lot of attention. but the black one has a pretty cool logo on it.

one of each? :p

Desmond travels and then has no clothes.
Ben travels and moves litteraly.
etc. etc.
Brings us to The Compass (?) Is it aging blah blah blah.
Brings me to my questions.
So Claire is giving Birth, Locke is Crying over Boonie, and his Island love. Jack is? ( haven't watched season 1 in abit.. Not on the beach I would assume. So My question isssssssss If I went to the beach instead of the caves would the empty Dharma Beer cans an dCamp be there?

Christian Bale clip fucks up BBC Breakfast

I wouldn't mind, but I saw it and they had already successfully broadcast a successfully bleeped version earlier in the programme.

Frankly, the unbleeped version shouldn't even have been available in the studio in the first place.

Chris JC said...

Did I use "successfully" too many times in that post?

Rrb said...

I like the yellow the first and last yellow shirt i will ever own:)!!

RRB - If I recall season 1 correctly, Jack is at that point trying to save Boone's life.

If you work 3rd shift burger day can be at 7am:)

Chris JC said...

Cheers, RRB - yeah, they arrive at the camp later than any time we have seen - possibly real time, but probably not given the lack of charred Frogurt remains.

Rrb said...

or my 5pm ish...that is 7am..

How have we got this far without praising the Sawyer two-liner:

"Thank you, Lord!"
(DELUGE)
"I take that back!"

Rrb said...

I'm confused charred remains are we chating about Fringe?

PalmerEldritch said...

oh! we got an answer on the "does everyone else see the flash of the time-hopping time-fuckers? apparently not unless kate was just too distracted by the whole birth thing.

kim, what are you thinking for lunch? Big Mac? Chicken sandwich?

Rrb said...

The first time I came to this blogspot was with a Question about the Ep. What Kate Did..My point at the time is What the Hell did Kate Not Do., What she did was raise a bunch of questions for me. Her whole stepfather/ Sawyer thing still mess'es with me. So back to the point.. i forgot it has to do with Kate..O ya she does'nt see Sawyer or the FLASH because..ITS ALL HER FAULT..But she did look way Hot in this episode I'm with Jordanfrom the ??? I think they Toned Down the HEAVY make up and made her more mom looking Like a MILF. ??? where the hell was i going with this?? Kale should have looked up?

memphish said...

There's only one exception to seeing the flash that I've noticed so far and it's Desmond in his encounter with Daniel. I noticed it on the Previously on Lost for Jughead. He seems to notice something different is happening. Everyone else, Alpert, Ethan, Kate, etc. seem to have no clue.

mmmm. burger day - I almost forgot. I doubt the guys in the office will want to go there twice in two weeks but there is a pub relatively nearby that makes a burger called the Lumberjack - a.k.a. the Widowmaker.

close to a pound of meat (double burger), bacon, jack cheese, a mild horseradish/mustard sauce, plus onions, lettuce & tomato if desired.
Not always finish-able, but so awesome!

It needs to be lunchtime
