The Lost Score Mid Week Show: Episode 2

So after a good hard look at "Confirmed Dead", Jimmy explains how 3 notes can invoke memories or sensations of another character even when off screen. We also throw about a theory, a gripe, and a public service announcement regarding nutrition :)

re: the last thread.

aimee, sorry to bug you when you were recording last night! oops.

i suppose if there's a "who the fuck just IMed me while i'm trying to record?" during the next TLI then i might be that "who the fuck!"

that's fame enough for me.

It's time to whore your dog again!

"In Britain in the last century, it was quite acceptable for a gentleman to lose his virginity to one of London's many whore dogs. Dickens and Prince Albert both boasted of their experience."

Little bit more on the plans for Lost... Can't say that I'm crazy about this.

The Hollywood Reporter has spoken to Lost executive producer Carlton Cuse, and say that the goal Cuse and Lindelof have set is to complete five more episodes this season, bringing the total to 13.

"We're going to have to hit the ground running, go from zero to 100 mph in a matter of days to make as many episodes as possible," Cuse tells the Reporter. As for turning a 16 episode season into a 13 episode season, Cuse notes "We will have to condense some stories."

Cuse also spoke to Variety, in which he said, "We're going to try to make as many as we can and do a good job of finishing out this season. We'll have to compress some of the storytelling we planned for this season, and that may not be a bad thing. Damon and I feel like we know how we can finish it off and still make it a really, really great story."

Variety reports that Cuse tells them that any unproduced episodes planned for this season (presumably three at this point) will be added to the final two seasons at some point, seemingly keeping the show on track to produce 48 episodes total over the course of its final three years.

But think of the mega exciting pacing!

It just looks like they'll do some swapping, so we'll keep the big events here and smaller setup things for later will move to another season.

On the face of it, this could - as a result - become the most dynamite turbo season of LOST ever.

Keeping it positive!

Ally, I don't know about Liam Pace but I did see Penny Widmore as well as David Silver.

Trevor McFur said...

That's the closest I've ever seen to a real, live, Oompa-Loompa.

Ally, and the guy who played Cyril's brother on Oz as well as Liz Lemon's beeper king boyfriend.

FutureAlly said...

For some reason I think the show won't last long, but boy do they have some awesome guest stars.

I like Cyril's brother, but man is he aging. BAG's (brian austin green) character seems interesting, but who knows how long he'll last (twss).

FutureAlly said...

the one i think was liam pace was the counselor. of course he looks way different than he did on lost.

I use to be not sure about who to vote for but the more I listen to Hillary the more she sounds slippery and distrusting. her trying to belittle the non big states is rude and dirivsive. the us needs a woman president but not a one like Hilarry.

got jesus?

Well I picked a bad morning to have a life. I completely missed the last thread. And speaking of -- I can't find Chile Biscuit to vote for. I searched Chile Biscuit and every pet from Arkansas and could not find her. Help!

As for Fireball Island, that was a little Kate in the making proclaiming she'd go first. Was that Sawyer and Jack trailing behind? (Not trailing their behinds Ally.)

So Kim can we expect new TLI today? Tomorrow?

I'm having problems finding Chile Biscuit too.

PalmerEldritch said...

forget about those other folk:

vote for Chile Biscuit

Stephanie said...

Ally, I'm with you. I doubt Sarah Connor will last long but since there's nothing else on, it'll do.

Thanks Palmer. I have voted for Chile Biscuit.

Christopher Eccleston will play Destro in the new GI Joe.

Chris JC said...

That would be Christopher "moaning about Brits being cast as villans" Eccleston?

Oh, and Adewale's in it too.

Rejoice?

dear blogspotters - because I care deeply about each and every one of you, I just wanted you all to make sure you take your vitamins and get a lot of sleep, because if the stomach flu that seems to be raging across portland (and my house) makes it your direction (wherever you are) you're going to need the extra strength. save yourselves.

/god give me the strength to fight the enemy that is bludgeoning my body inside and record a spoiler seg tonight - lol

FutureAlly said...

i hope you feel better, mb. i have a cold and it's not fun, i can't breathe, i guess that's what i get for wearing skimpy clothing when i party and don't wear a jacket.

Stomach virus hit here last week followed quickly by the cold bug. Thankfully, the Smiths weren't hit too hard. It's just that time of the year.

Evangeline Lilly is scheduled to be on Letterman tonight.

Oh and while I'm feeling under the weather, might as well vent my frustration at Cuseloff cheating us out of 3 episodes. If I read Trevor's post correctly, Season 4 is becoming a 13 episodes.

BOOOOOO!!!! Fucking BOOOOO!!! Come ON!!! the deal was 48 more episodes GUYS (46 now)!!! (grunt)

rant over

MB said...

...oops...I'm delirious - that should have read "...a 13 episode season"

Chris JC said...

Doesn't it say that the major points for this season will get compressed down a bit and that three episodes will be added to a later season?

That's what I took from it, anyway.

Jimmy said...

Last :)

Thanks for posting this, I wasn't aware it was up. Been a bit busy and buried this last week. What's this shit about only 13 episodes Season 4???? For real?

Chris JC said...

Better than an eight episode one though, eh?

This way they can at least construct a proper season cliffhanger.

PalmerEldritch said...

well, ya see, there was this whole writer's strike thing...

seriously however, i'm fine with 13 episodes. mainly cuz i thought we'd only get 8.

if we did only get 8 episodes, would the season be half full or half empty?

FutureAlly said...

kablamo!

FutureAlly said...

"I wasn't aware it was up."

that's what he said.

Jimmy said...

I need to keep up with the news. Anyway...I like this last episode as it was...

Trevor McFur said...

"I wasn't aware it was up".

That is also what she said.

Isn't that some sort of Viagra side effect? If it's been more than 4 hours you should seek medical attention.

well, your partner should seek medical attention anyhow.
