I can't wait to hear whatever great one-liner Sawyer follows that hug with.

Jon said...

i love how sawyer looks as if he's really really enjoying that hug.

i wonder if hurley's apologizing for getting in his stash.

Stephanie said...

Lovin' it so far!!!

casey_donahue said...

I dont know what it is about this episode but I really like it, probably the funniest episode of lost ever

casey_donahue said...

ok so I think that episode was great, that was grassroots lost. in the beginning it was about the people coming together and it has been awhile in my opinion since they were able to do it as well as they did tonight

Stephanie said...

I give it a 10 out of 10!!! A perfect episode. Great writing, directing and acting. I cried. I cheered. I laughed out loud. The show that stole my heart is back.

Sir William Osler, MD said...

Great episode.

I loved Sawyer, he had some good one liners.

PalmerEldritch said...

Asian reporter Tricia Tanaka indeed.

Yeesh!

Fantastic episode. I'm looking forward to the podcasts. I'm not sure how Kim will work in a Jizz reference but I have the utmost confidence in her abilities.

I'm also curious as to what Jimmy thought about the ending music and if that's the first time that's happened or not (the merging of a LOST theme and a popular song).

Stephanie said...

Sawyer has my sympathy again. Mr. Snuffleupagus was my favorite.
The music was interesting, palmer.

casey_donahue said...

I wish I hadnt watched the preview for next week though, that had "blown out of proportion" written all over it

PalmerEldritch said...

Hey, Casey.

That's not blowing anything out of proportion. You do NOT quit out of EyePatchMan's chess game without his permission!

Who's got the flashbacks next week? Sayid?

casey_donahue said...

i dont think he's playing eye patch man that makes too much sense

locke is playing the island at a game of chess, its like war games

PalmerEldritch said...

The first time I heard the names of Hurley's butlers I thought he said they were Mr. and Mrs. Tran. Which I'm not bringing up as a Bai Ling reference, I'm bringing up because the second time he said their names, it sounded like he called them Mr. and Mrs. Tron. Which would be a freakin' fantastic name for a television show. Like a sitcom follow up to TRON.

Ralph, write up a script for that and sell it to Hollywood.

Anonymous said...

Whoops, I accidentally posted this on the pre-episode thread a few minutes ago... Sorry. Here's my thoughts just after watching tonigh'ts episode:

Well, this was a really "fun" episode. Maybe not quite as much fun as Ralph and Ben had hoped with their Magic Mystery Machine, and Tango & Cash comparisons. But a very good time nonetheless.

Sawyer was a little out of control with all the nicknames he threw around this episode.

And what the hell does Kate want Sawyer to say he's sorry for? Just because he called her out on the pity fuck?

And what's up with the plans for the island road system that they found right near the VW bus?

Hopefully these and more questions will be answered next season on LOST...

~DA

p.s. And if Kim can get in a legitimate jizz reference in discussing tonight's show, I will truly be impressed. But it has to be relevant to the episode. Just hearing her say jizz for the sake of jizz won't cut it.

Anonymous said...

Best. Episode. Ever. I don't think I've laughed that much in a Lost episode. Hurley's happiness is so infectious.

And Kate acting all high and mighty is weird. Well, not weird, because I get what she's doing, but more annoying when she's acting all snippy.

Baby!Hurley is soooo cute! Just wanted to hug him. And now we know two things:

1. Where Hurley got his 'dude' from.

2. Where Hurley got his appetite from.

Wow, number one sounds kinda dirty.

Stephanie said...

Since Charlie survived the joy ride and Hurley made his own luck by starting the van, does that mean Charlie conquered death and Hurley broke the curse?

Anonymous said...

Hmm...I'm not sure Steph. Now that you bring it up, it sounds really plausible, but I had just assumed that both curses were still intact and ready to go at a later date.

But here's the thing-Hurley's curse seems to only affect people he knows, and not himself. Charlie's flash-fate, I'm sure cannot be broken. I don't think a VW van can solve all. But, because Hurley decided to believe that there was no curse, no curse came around. Maybe it was only there in the first place because he had a premonition that bad things were just around the corner?

Charlie, on the other hand...well, he explained to us all why the guys only have stubble on the island. I don't think he has avoided death yet. Maybe we just have to wait for either another Desmond or Charlie centric episode to see what happens.

Jon said...

did anyone else find it funny when paulo grabbed nikki by the britches to keep her from going with hurley?

i'm looking forward to next week, even if the preview all but spoiled it, sheesh. it looks like the ep has potential for some serious suspense.

casey_donahue said...

i did notice that and I thought it was hilarious, I like him less and less and i like her more and more, she should just stand in every shot just to make everything sexier

Stephanie said...

Yeah, and not speak.

casey_donahue said...

if she would just stand there and not talk and hurly jin charlie and sawyer are in the background doing doughnuts in the bus the ratings would jump by 10 million

Jon said...

haha, you're probably right. I hope that bus becomes an important part of future story lines. it's fucking sweet.

Stephanie said...

It's annoying when a really good guest star is wasted, Nathan Fillion for example. I feel like Cheech Marin was used to his full potential with the amount of screen time given.
Johnny ran off with Starla.
Hugo's mother has needs.
Poor Roger Workman.
Good ol' funtime Hurley just wants everyone to have a little fun.

Anonymous said...

ok. ok. now I got to go and watch this again before I run off to work. I thought it was Jin that grabbed Nikki and pulled her back from Hurley. of course Paolo makes sense, but I could have sworn it was Jin.

Stephanie said...

While YOU PEOPLE were in your beds last night that Shambala song was continuously running through my head.

aimee is lost said...

This was an amazing episode. I immediately sent text messages to my west coast pals and said "Lost is BACK". Jimmy and Ralph, I'm waiting to hear if you agree with me, everyone else appears to so far.

I can't wait until lunchtime so I can watch it again. I was really excited and looking forward to a fun and more relaxed episode, and I was not disappointed at all.

Welcome to the real season 3 folks.

PalmerEldritch said...

So, sounds like Hurley's freakishly skinny little friend is sort of a dick. Stealing Hurley's girl? Yeesh. No good.

But now Hurley has the Dharma Shaggin' Wagon and will be picking up Island chicks like nobody's business.

aimee is lost said...

That's awesome that Sawyer called Roger Work-man "Skeletor" because I had just posted a blog on my Myspace about watching the Masters of the Universe movie on DVD the other night.

aimee is lost said...

Maybe that's their excuse to not have to bring those actors back or something.

PalmerEldritch said...

You watched Masters of the Universe on DVD? On purpose?

I like how you can open an interdimensional portal from Earth to Eternia with only a keyboard and a mullett.

aimee is lost said...

I found it in the cheap DVD bin at Wal-Mart and decided to revisit my childhood. It was HILARIOUS.

aimee is lost said...

Courteney Cox is like 18 years old in that movie, and does the same exact scream that she does in the Scream movies 10 years later. And the actress that played her mother on Friends played the Sorceress. Seriously go watch it.

PalmerEldritch said...

I might need to be tied down like Karl in order to make it all the way through 'Masters of the Universe' in one sitting. :)

Jimmy said...

Loved it!!!!!!

Yes, aimee...Lost is back :)

More later.

Stephanie said...

Did y'all read the latest rumor?
DDK will play the part of Sulu.

PalmerEldritch said...

Blah to a Star Trek prequel movie. Blah, I say!!!

DDK is the man though. But I'm not sure if the Asian community will take to a Korean guy playing a Japanese guy when Star Trek's already had a Chinese guy playing a Korean and a Korean girl playing a Japanese girl. But then again, the guy who played Scotty was Canadian (right?) and no one cared.

/Voyager == teh suck

aimee is lost said...

I was never into Star Trek. The only one I remember is the one with the Humpback whales because I grew up in the Bay Area.

I want to watch this episode again! How awesome was the final scene when Kate tells Rousseau about Alex?? I threw my arms up in the air, like "FINALLY!!!" It was like a total superbowl touchdown moment.

PalmerEldritch said...

P.S. Mirror Universe Uhura. Yowzahs!

PalmerEldritch said...

It'd be great if Rousseau finally found Alex and was like "Damnit, Kate; that's not my daughter. My husband was African."

aimee is lost said...

LOL. I wanted Kate to say "that man you caught in the net raised her as his daughter!" I wonder if Alex will kill Ben. It seems like an easy choice that Rousseau would, but I can't imagine them letting Michael Emerson go because he's way too cool.

PalmerEldritch said...

Jack would save Benry. He's Jack's ticket off the island.

aimee is lost said...

Jack will end up taking the bullet then; I picture a slo-motion leap in front of Ben like in the Bodyguard.."Nooooooo....!"

PalmerEldritch said...

Just as long as they fall in love and Jack sings that crappy song.

aimee is lost said...

We can only hope so.

PalmerEldritch said...

Yeah. We should start an internet petition, you and I.

Anonymous said...

solid funsies.

you could tell they were shooting for lighthearted when Vincent was running about with a dead man's arm in his mouth and the music cue was something out of Merry Melodies.

I do hope they weld a refrigerator to the front of the Dharma van and crash Otherville like the A-Team.

Who's flashback is it next week?

andrew.

aimee is lost said...

Sayid is up next! FINALLY!

PalmerEldritch said...

So, Sayid knows Eyepatch Man from his mysterious past. Hmmm?

casey_donahue said...

i think instead of taking a bullet for ben, jack will end up killing one of his friends because jack needs ben

like how anakin skywalker needed palpatine so he stopped mace windu from killing him by cutting off his hand

Stephanie said...

If she was taken as a baby, how did Ben and the Others know that her name was Alex? Kinda like on Heroes; How did everyone know he was Hatian?

PalmerEldritch said...

Steph, 100% right about the Haitian thing. "Oh, look. A guy with a shaved head. He must be Haitian. Certainly, there are no black people in the US, Canada, Mexico, the UK, Europe, Africa, Australia, or any other Caribbean nation."

Maybe he's mute with a distinct Haitian accent?

Stephanie said...

Yeah, what IS Sawyer supposed to be apogizing for, Kate?
Everyone I know calls it Little House.
Holly and Aimee- Going into Crisis Mode because it's gonna storm. Does the rest of the country freak out like this?
Did anyone else cheer when the meteor hit Mr Clucks?

PalmerEldritch said...

And don't forget South America... Never forget South America. Or the Alamo.

/Remember the Maine?

Jimmy said...

I was very surprised to enjoy it as much as I did. I had already said I wasn't in the mood for comic relief...but it turned out I was wrong, I needed it.

Basically, this was a great episode for "dudes". It's fun to see a load of guys kick it and have some fun and it was seriously convincing.

I liked the incredulous response Sayid gave to Kate re Locke's "Message on Eko's stick". I also think Kate is a dick more and more. Yes...she is going to get Jack. Plan it! Talk to the muscle on the Island...get a team!

Sawyer was a laugh too. I also predict Jin will be speaking very good English in approximately 3 more episodes.

Casey D. Yes...Nikki is hot as hell. A man with taste!!!!! Either that , or we both like "trash" :)

Star Trek...really? Again? I'm as fond of ST as the next guy...but seriously folks, it died in the early 90's. It'll never come back, never be fresh...and who's appetite are they trying to satiate anyway? Boomers? Because as far as I know, the younger kids don't give a shit. When will people finally realize, that though it has a massive pop culture impact, ST has gone the same way as Flash Gordon. Fuck, my Grandpa loved Flash G. All he went on about when talking of his sci fi youth. Where's Buster Crabb and friends now?

Don't get me started...Superman is the same, too. Tired!

PalmerEldritch said...

Jimmy,

Flash Gordon reminds me of Buck Rogers reminds me of Erin Gray. And Erin Gray is good. Very good.

Stephanie said...

Jimmy, obviously you didn't hear about the Christie's auctioning of the Star Trek props. Half a mil for a model of the Enterprise.

Ralph- said...

saying hi again!

i just wanted to say that i cannot wait to watch this episode again and talk about it.

i knew it. it totally was lost again. Last week was the mark of the end of the opening storyline. Now we are totally in the swing of things. we know everything we need to know about the others, and now we get to see how our survivors interact with these a-holes.

Favorite line in last night's episode:

"Is it the others?" -paulo

oh my god that was hilarious!!!

i am liking them more and more each time i see them.

i will be back on the boards tomorrow evening, and will post a new episode. I cant wait to be home with my wife.

casey_donahue said...

ok so after re-watching, I really liked the moment when sawyer comes to yell at hurley because of his stash but hurley cuts him off and hugs him and sawyer immidiatly forgets about it, that was a very intersting moment for sawyer, we havent seen that from him before all because someone cared about him. That was probably my favorite part of the episode

and trash or not, nikki is hot

Steph - Good call on Sayid knowing patchy. BTW, my mind goes to the gutter every time i see your profile pic.

Jimmy - i think you're right about Star Trek having currently cashed its cache. It needs a rest, just like it did between the original series and The Next Generation. Just like Battlestar Galactica. Just like the Flash Gordon serials and the glorious movie (no matter how awful it was, it was one of my favorites as a youth). Even though i was never a huge Superman fan, I think he still has some relevancy if handled right. He's the archetypal superhero and obviously that genre is doing well right now.

i should be working.

andrew.

Anonymous said...

oops. sorry palmer. you get credit for the Patchy/Sayid link.

andrew.

aimee is lost said...

Ralph, I laughed my ass off when Paulo said that. Then I thought, "what kind of question is that?" Just because you see someone running, you automatically think it's the Others?

casey_donahue said...

i didnt laugh, I was just puzzled as to why anyone would say that out loud

Stephanie said...

Andrew, I knew I couldn't remember having an idea that profound.
I need to go to bed.
Why wasn't it an Apollo Bar?

Jimmy said...

Paulo's acting is amazing!

Steph...yes, I know about the Star Trek fan base, and totally agree with you, but the reality is there isn't enough interest in it to equate to $$ anymore as far as the actual film and TV. The latest efforts have failed quite badly. The memorabilia will continue to be the Holy Grail of the obsessives.

It's fantastic to see that people will pay $500,000 for a model of the Enterprise, yet we (meaning my agency) have to shut down and scale back our homeless and battered womens shelters because we can't raise $35,000. And that's where I'm leaving that bit :)

But yes...I'm an "old ST" and "NextGen" man, personally. Plus I have a T'Pol fetish, on top of my Nikki thing...to accompany my Wonder Woman thing...

PalmerEldritch said...

A T'Pol fetish?! Man, you do like trash.

But that's cool. You can use your new skills learned in the Dharmalars blogspot on her.

Anonymous said...

Aimee, in response to a comment you left on a previous post, I would very much like you to trash talk me. Bring it on i say...

Quality episode by the way. I've had some good tv this week, Heroes was good - Save the Cheerleader, right, get that bit - what about the big bang in Hiro's flash forward?
And i watched Click last night, wasn't expecting anything good, but it passed my 5 laugh rule, and quite quickly as well!

P.S. Could Kim do more English accent, she was fucking good at it!

Jimmy said...

Palmereldritch...

Kim and Aimee present: "The Accent Hour"

Aimee's impressions are funny as hell and I'm a huge fan of the patented Kim radio voice (especially in French). By all means, ladies, use any accent you want. And any that the blogspotters want you to!

Maybe Rousseau impressions this week?

Jimmy, I'd not so hot on the big ol' Wonder Woman bloomers but she was indeed a looker. I'm highly partial to Olivia Munn as Wonder Woman.

Tim, Jimmy knows better than anyone here that Kim and I both seem to be good at trash talking - by accident. It just sort of comes out on its own.

PalmerEldritch said...

Kim, stay safe and warm. And keep your voice healthy for the podcast. And try not to say jizz on the radio. But if you do, give us a link to the station's website so we can hear it!

Aimee, it's up to you to step up to the plate if poor Kim starts losing her voice. PRESSURE'S ON! :)

/hoping to be snowed in tomorrow

Anonymous said...

Do you guys think Kim would sound even sultrier with a little raspiness in her voice?

Keep up the weather reports. I want to hear what the raspy voiced Kim sounds like!

PalmerEldritch said...

Sultry? Admittedly, Kim's radio voice is decidedly lovely but I always thought of it as more SAS-sy than anything else.

/wokka wokka

I was talking about her Texas accent. Not her regular radio voice.

ok, has anyone else seen this ad:

I was just on myspace, and in one of those BIG banners off to the right side of the browser is an ad for True, and the adline atop the banner reads:

15 Million Singels
Start Flirting

15 million SINGELS?! Now, I don't consider myself a grammar snob, or even a spellcheck snob, but how the hell can you miss that if you're in charge of putting that out there?

Or is there some under-30 meaning to "singels" that I'm just too damn old to know about?

yeah, I know this doesn't have much to do with this thread, but neither did my last comment.

PalmerEldritch said...

I hear ya on the spelling errors. But whatever banner ad you're looking at is outdated. Check out LiveLinks for your official date with Evangeline Lilly.

"R U ready 2 finger flirt?" indeed.

Stephanie said...

Teej, is GB still on the "Save The Cheerleader, Save The World" arc? We're on the "Are You On The List?". I hear "How Do YOu Stop An Exloding Man?" is next.

Jimmy, growing up watching Linda Carter, I think, helped form my opinion of what an attractive woman is. That must be the reason I think the most beautiful women in the world are Catherine Zeta-Jones and Andie MacDowell.

Anonymous said...

Steph, Yeah - i just watched what you've watched - claire sedates the exploding man. I get that bit, but i thought the explosion in Hiro's time jump happened in New York? And i thought that Peter Petrelli would come in contact with Radioactive Man and acquire his ability and not be able to control it?

Aimee and Kim, I'm starting it right now. Yankee and Canuck, stereotypical geek masters.
(I'm shit at trash talking, but will reserve this for Jimmy: Old Brummie twat.)

Bring it!

Teej

PalmerEldritch said...

So, HEROES-wise, whatever happened to "Hannah Gittelman" or whatever worldwideweb-head's name was?

And what's up with this new brunette at PrimaTech?

aimee is lost said...

Kim, that's actually kind of funny that you're sort of mute right now, because I'm actually sort of deaf.

I went to a concert last night, and was right in front of the speakers and the bass was up really high, but I refused to move because I thought that would mean I was old or something, so now I um, can't really hear very well.

So when we record the podcast this week, we'll have one deaf person, and one mute person.

So...this will be interesting.

PalmerEldritch said...

Aimee, I'll make sure to close my eyes while I listen to the podcast so we can have the trifecta going.

Just gotta hope I don't listen to it in the car...

Stephanie said...

Those two look too much alike. People are getting them mixed up. I'm not really sure if the Israeli will be back. Why didn't she go with Ted to the Bennet's house?
The new girl at the paper co is supposed to clean up the mess at the Bennet's.

PalmerEldritch said...

Ooooooooooooooh! Feisty Aimee! Do tell. I like stories. Well, I like good stories. Generally, crappy stories blow.

Steph, I'm eager to find out what her powers are. Super powers are good. Remind me to download that 3Heroes podcast. Can I search for them on iTunes or is there a website?

aimee is lost said...

It's not that exciting of a story. Some drunk skank was all up in my business trying to get my spot in front of the stage. To quote myself: "I dare you to touch me, bitch." She skank-danced to back of the crowd where she came from.

I may be old, but I still have my moments.

PalmerEldritch said...

Re-enactment during the podcast? Hmmm? :)

"Aimee and Kim Present: Scenes from Real Life"

aimee is lost said...

It would've been fun to get into a fight. I'm pretty sure I could've taken her. If I'd been drunk myself, I would've done it since Brian wasn't there.

PalmerEldritch said...

Aimee, bitch could've pulled your hair. And NOBODY wants anything bad to happen to that fabulous new hair-do. Think about the hair, Aimee.

With great hair comes great responsibility.

Looking forward to recording tonight's episode. I am not doing any of the prep work that i normally do for the show, ben and ryan are taking care of that. i cant wait to hear jimmy's take on the music. i am interested in hearing about hurleys theme, as well as that theme that popped up during the kate and sawyer feel bad for yourself scene.

we are finished with the first draft of the script. i am gonna do some editing next week and see if i cant sell it. it is a lot of fun.

i will be back in full effect tonight!

i cant wait to hear some calls from some drunk dudes this weekend!

welcome back, ralphatron.

Anonymous said...

I haven't had a chance to share my thoughts about "Tricia Tanaka" being dead.

I didn't even THINK about the episode "Dave" when Hurley casually mentioned the Chicken Shack getting hit by a meteor. Regardless, it really had nothing to do with the episode. I kinda felt sorry for Sawyer because nobody really cared that he was back (except Hurley). It seemed like nobody really cared that either of them were back. If I was on the island, I’d want them to tell me everything…what happened, where were you, where’s Jack, are you ok, EVERYTHING! I’ll save the rest of my rant for TLI.

I LOVED every moment of Hurley/Sawyer/Jin/Charlie/Roger with the VW Van. Priceless. But if I hadn’t really eaten in 60+ days, I’d be falling over drunk after one sip of beer.

As for the Heroes chat. OH…MY…GOD wasn’t that the GREATEST episode EVER??? (I think it did so well because it borrowed from the LOST flashback format, but I digress.) I think Peter’s dream was not necessarily a sign of what’s happening in the future, but more of like a warning. ***Spoiler Alert*** Remember in one of the first episodes where Hiro is in Isaac’s studio and there’s a dude on the floor with his head cut open a-la-Sylar? I heard on a Heroes-related podcast that the man on the floor may NOT be Isaac. ** That’s all I’ll say about that I know some people hate spoilers—so I won’t go into detail, I could go on about this episode, but I won’t. Back to LOST…

Anyone notice how hot Jin was in this episode? Wow. I have to agree with Ralph, when Paulo said “Is it the others?” I laughed out loud. Not because of what he said, but HOW he said it. ***Geek Alert*** For me, I could tell that his line and Nikki’s line were added in post production to give them more of a presence in the show. Remember the episode when Hurley said “Later dudes, I’m going to the hatch.” The audio didn’t match, and I found it highly amusing. ** I also laughed when Paulo pulled Nikki by the belt loop.

As for the Hurley and Charlie’s curses being broken. I don’t know if they truly are, but I think the real message behind this episode what giving our characters hope. They’ve all been moping around the island, and Hurley needed to boost morale.

Ok…I’ve rambled on enough…lates

palmer, 3heroes is on iTunes.
The new Hero is supposed to bring some sexy to the show, they say. Hope she's more feminine than she was in Stick It.

ralph- are there zombies in the script?

aimee is lost said...

Every script needs to have some zombies in it.

Anonymous said...

I heard the "Stick It" girl is only going to be on for 2 episodes

PalmerEldritch said...

Have people actually seen "Stick It?" I guess I must have missed that one...

She looks much more feminine in HEROES than she did in the "Stick It" pics at IMDB.

/did see "Bring It On"
//has thing for Big Red

Stephanie said...

Only saw the trailer for Stick It when I took Baby Cakes to see Aquamarine. I loved Bring It On but not interested in Stick It.

PalmerEldritch said...

Kim,
Weighing in on the "Broken Curse" thing, I'd say probably not. Well, probably not breaking the "4 8 15 16 23 42" curse for Hurley and definitely not breaking the curse for Charlie. Can you imagine them introducing an unavoidable death curse for a character and lifting said curse two episodes later because he took a ride in The Magic Bus? Well, OK, I can imagine that, but I don't think it's very likely. I think the point was that they're not going to let their respective curses rule their lives. They're going to have fun and enjoy life again.

Sure, they'll be boned when Charlie dies a horrible death... But, eh, whatcha gunna do?

aimee is lost said...

Isn't it pretty obvious the reason they DIDN'T crash because Hurley was in the van? All the bad shit happens AROUND him, not TO him. Charlie can still die, but Hurley can't. That's just always been my impression.

aimee is lost said...

He didn't lose his money, he made MORE money, but people died and a factory burned down, a chicken shack exploded, more people died, but he was spared, he made insurance money, etc, etc.

PalmerEldritch said...

Charlie = personal death curse
Hurley = proximity death curse

Maybe... if Charlie just rides around on Hurley's back, he'll be fine?

"personal death curse" sounds like a teenager's garage band

Stephanie said...

Alright, you guys have me convinced that the curse isn't broken, Hurley just brought hope to the Fusies or Losties or whatever you call them. Along with it, he brought hope to me for a better season 3.

Anonymous said...

Palmer - Did you say that they're gonna be "boned" when Charlie dies? Wow.

And Kim - You didn't really expect our LOST characters to ask realistic type questions of their friends after the've been away with the others? That would be ot serious a departure from their "conversational amnesia" (I heard it called that somewhere...) that they all seem to have suffered in the plane crash.

and unless someone is posting right now as I write this, this is going to be post # 108 of this thread!

p.s. Kim - How is the weather, and how did your voice hold up after all of the reports you had to do?

PalmerEldritch said...

A figurative boning. Although, a literal boning afterwards would certainly add insult to injury!

Anonymous said...

"Figurative Boner" would be a cool band name.

aimee is lost said...

It's called "curiosity amnesia" because they forget to ask questions that are sooo obvious in realistic situations.

I'm pretty sure the curse isn't broken. That would be too easy for this show. But it doesn't take anything away from this episode.

Anonymous said...

ok, so would conversational amnesia be when you forget to have a conversation that any normal person would want to have?

If curiosity amnesia is taken, but conversational amnesia is new, then I want to claim it for this blogspot. conversational amnesia. has a nice ring, no?

Stephanie said...

Good thing we've got new Lost because after Monday Heroes is off for 5 weeks. We have reruns of The Office for weeks and weeks as well.

Hey Teej. Be careful about where you buy your gas. Do you think The Terrorists have tampered with the supply?;)
What happened to your colorful rants we used to get every few days?

Here's something that I've been wanting to get off my chest. It's not that I don't care. I hope she rests in peace. I am concerned about the welfare of that precious child. But does anyone care who the daddy is or where she's going to be buried or what her mother has to say? I just don't understand why CNN is running continuous coverage of Anna Nicole Smith. Am I wrong? Are people actually THAT interested in her? I just can't get over Anderson Cooper when he said, "And now we move on to news everyone SHOULD be concerned about, Iran." Please explain why the media wants us to think everyone is concerned.

Aimee,

On a previous thread you said you'd like to see the interview of EV Lilly on Letterman. I put it up on my myspace videos along with a Steven Colbert interview with JJ Abrams if you want to see it. And anyone else who wants to see it, here's the url:
