LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Bai Ling has copped a plea in her shoplifting case.
The actress was charged earlier this week with petty theft for trying to take a pack of batteries and two Star magazines worth $16.22 from a store at Los Angeles International Airport. Witnesses also reported seeing two sausages allegedly poking out of her shirt. It is unknown at this time where they came from, or what they were doing in there.
In a message posted on her blog, Bai Ling proclaimed "I am innocent" below a photo of herself with her thumb up. "Theft dismissed! Yes! This is it! All the darkness went away," she wrote. She later told E! News that she was having an "emotionally crazy" day because she and her boyfriend broke up right before Valentine's Day.

I'll go with "OK Aimee" for a new name. This does, however, have the drawback of making UK listeners think that she's either perfectly well, or that she's acceptable, but nothing particularly more than average - which clearly is not the intention.
I first became aware of Bai Ling from being in The Crow. She provides good background colour, but frankly the film wouldn't suffer if she wasn't in it. Her scenes are all shared with Michael Wincott who is much more watchable.
