Is anyone Reading "Bad Twin" It's kinda bad but funny. There are so many lost references its funny. The main Character is hired to track down the "Bad Twin" of the owner of Widmore construction. The twin Dissipeared on April 15th (4-15).
I am only 11 chapters into it but at one point he walks into the Hanzo Foundation main office in New York City and is scared by how freaky everyone is acting.
Its fun to read if you are hooked on this show, like everyone here is :)
I just ordered the Bad Twin on Amazon last week, so don't spoil it for me completely! I knew there'd be Lost references, judging by the Gary Troup interview clip (that is also on Amazon). The interview makes a comment about him using "real life" in his books, and mentions Alvar Hanso, etc. So I knew some of that stuff would be found in the book. I'm so excited!
Mike, I started "reading" those video spoilers, but I was so frightened that they were true that I didn't finish them. I like some spoiling as much as the next person, but those videos were basically moment-by-moment descriptions, and that just takes away all elements of surprise.
Can you imagine watching last week's episode after reading a spoiler like that? No one would've been as blown away as we all were.
I like spoilers more along the lines of "Desmond will be appearing in the Season finale", or "a female character is going to die".
Now that I have no school work to do, I've started reading a lot more. I'm planning a Lost literature marathon. I'm going to try and read all of the Lost books, but I think I'm going to save Dostoeyevski (sp?) for last, since it'll probably be the most difficult! I just finished The Turn of the Screw, and that was pretty good (but probably the shortest book ever). Stephen King's "Cell" should also be arriving with my copy of The Bad Twin. I know Cell wasn't in the show, but given the Stephen King references, I don't consider it cheating.
What has happened to this blog? Just when Lost is getting f'ing interesting again, and Ralph had recorded the v2.0, and everything seemed uphill, everyone seems to have disappeared. Don't give me that crap about "oh, I have a life", because I know you don't.
If your looking for a good piece to read with correlations to Lost, I strongly suggest you look out for Alan Moore's Watchmen (it's a comic, but hey it's the only graphic novel to have won a Hugo Award). Quick references: there'as black boy reading a comic about a pirate ship (The black freighter) and one of it's crew ismarooned on a island, building a raft,... I also spoted a virgin mary statue among other things.
The Bad Twin arrived from Amazon today, and I started some of it. The publishers included some letters in the beginning; one from "Gary Troup", and one from a publisher in Sydney. In the introduction they talk about how Gary was dating an Australian woman who was a flight attendant for Oceanic Airlines named Cindy Chandler, and Gary dedicates the book to her: "For Cindy, my highest flying angel"
What's up with only sharing 4 shows. Where's the rest??? Got to have my SAS! Craig, love your music choices, have you ever considered posting some of your favorite music? I'm sure people would love it.

aimee i want to do some lost reading. Cell wasn't very good though. I want to try to read "Watership Down" and "Third Policeman"
Yeah those are intense Spoilers. I watched two of them but i couldn't watch the third one. I wanted a little bit of excitment.
Did you see that the "Hanzo Foundation" has responded to the "Bad Twin" book. Silly lost experence game, its pritty fun.
