What, did Jane Campion direct this episode?
I wouldn't be surprised if Charlie goes off in a sulk like Sayid did, and finds the underwater bunker. How? I don't know. But it would be tres cool. Or he finds Walt. Or he finds out that they're actually on a back lot in Hollywood and never turns back to tell the rest of them.
Josh Holloway was in a Walker, Texas Ranger episode once upon a time...
It actually looks like Charlie is pushing the piano back out to sea - as if to say "I can't play the bloody piano, go get me a bass!"

Looks like they are trying to put on a Christmas pagent. Clare and that woman could be like Mary and Elizabeth and Hurly could be king Harrod or a wise man/one of the three kings. Probably a halucination
