Kim,

My internet at home is FUBAR so I won't be able to download until, presumably, tonight. Any chance there's a fake Traffic Report in the World Famous Kim Radio voice? Or at least the World Famous Drunk Off Her Canadian Ass Voice? Otherwise, the fake Traffic Report is my request for next week.

Sweet podcast as usual. But, I missed Aimee's "stay classy internetica" at the end. I'm going to be decidedly class-less now (like I ever had any ounce of class - ha!).

t-dot kim said...

She does say "Stay classy", it's before the Spoiler section MB!

Traffic report...ok P, fine, I'll post one next week

I said I'd post it for you guys

w00t! i'll admit it's just a desperate and transparent ploy to hear the RadioVoice(tm) next week.

but as an added bonus, i'll know which roads to avoid on the island in my dharma vee-dub. :p

Wonderful photo from Sahil. Dom is singing, "You aaaalll everybody!"

Hopefully I'll have time to listen tonight after whatever Craig & Andie plans, but I might not get around to it until tomorrow. I want to hear how my angry Rousseau rant came out.

In my face - oops! This is what happens when my ego-urge to get words on the board overpowers my ability to have anything constructive to say (slaps L to forehead)

Oh, since yesterday:

- I got lost and almost drove to Dallas on my way to class this morning,

- Drove the wrong direction down a major thoroughfare (I apparently thought I was in England and not in Oklahoma)

- And I think I broke my toe.

So far, quite the adventure.

aimee in little rock said...

Our instructor lets us mess about on the internet during breaks...woohoo!

PalmerEldritch said...

Aimee, what are you up to over in OKC? What's this about classes? Sounds pretty damned boring.

Don't worry about the broken toe. The island will have healed it in a couple episodes.

aimee in little rock said...

The class isn't so bad, it's just kinda boring & a little slow. I want to go!!! But at least all the computers in here have internet, so really I can't complain. When you finish your exercise and you're waiting on everyone else to finish theirs, you just surf the interweb.

I think tonight's adventures will result in some form of amputation or an eye-patch. I'm saving the amnesia for maybe the weekend. We'll see.

Oooh... a sexy "lady eyepatch!"

Maybe pink with a Hello Kitty face in front of some crossed bones on the eyepatch?

That's high fasion. High seas high fashion, Aimee.

I'm so glad you two find my accent cute and not obnoxious. I can't listen to my self. I've tried to loose the slack-jaw but end up feeling fake. You got to accept who you are. Appearantly, I'm a hick.
BTW, I agree that John Locke is like a kid in a candystore. I just hate listening to everyone verbally beat up on him.

For Ralph, Ben, Jimmy and any other man with a penis:

Hurray for Expose (the Paul/Nikki episode)

MB said...

Steph,
Don't ever lose the accent - it rocks

aimee in little rock said...

So what are men without penises?

Colin said...

uhh, I dunno. Women, I guess? Or people named Aimee. I know you dislike Nikki very much.

aimee in little rock said...

I think Colin just called me a man without a penis. Should I be insulted or um, envious?

I checked out Patchy's bio and found some funny Lost references, he ALSO starred in Walker, Texas Ranger (just like Josh Holloway) and Brisco County, Jr. (by Carlton Cuse). He was also on the A-Team, which I thought was just cool.

Who else caught Spring Fever today?
78 degrees in the beautiful city of Birmingham.
OMG, my 8 year-old JUST asked me what a prostitute is.
I liked The Island. Anything with Ewan McGregor is good. I don't recall anything that reminded me of Lost.
Parents of 14 year-old girls should take away their cellphones this week to ensure fair voting on AI. I am sick and tired of the talented being voted off before the attractive.

Another piss-poor BSG last night.

Did anyone see the movie 300 this week? I was shocked to see afterward that Paulo was Xerxes. There are some pictures on IMDB. Check it out, totally unrecognizable.

Picture

Ralph- said...

i recognized him, but that is because i am a member of the fan club. stevi could not find him, when i told her that he was xersies (sp?) she did not believe me.

aimee in little rock said...

We went to see 300 last night, and I didn't know who Rodrigo was going to be, so I was searching throughout the whole movie thinking every Spartan was going to be him or something. Then finally, Xerxes came on screen, and I was like, "is that him?" and after about 10 seconds I was blown away. I had to point it out to Craig because he didn't catch it either.

I still hate Paulo, but I have more respect for Rodrigo because that was a cool movie.

PalmerEldritch said...

I think I'm seeing 300 tomorrow night. Which means LOST on DVR. Does this make me a bad LOST fan?

aimee in little rock said...

Yes it does. 300 plays several times a day, every day. Lost is on for one hour, one day a week.

Boo Palmer. Booooo.

PalmerEldritch said...

D'oh!

In my defense, my buddy only has tomorrow night off between work and taking care of his one year old. So, I blame his penis.

aimee in little rock said...

Kick your friend in the penis and say it's from me. But watch Lost asap, and I will forgive you.

PalmerEldritch said...

Aimee, you're a sweetheart. Just for being so understanding, it's my mission to get home and watch LOST before midnight. That way I can watch Rodrigo command Persian forces and then react to his latest attempt to take a shit on LOST.

This season is going to be a series of RubeGolderg-ian Charlie Death Traps and Paolo's attempts to get good reading material for when he has to "drop off the Others."

aimee in little rock said...

Once again, Palmer wins the thread.

t-dot kim said...

Now I guess I have to see 300 :(

Does anyone have any plans for St. Pat's Day? If so, I want msgs sent to us on TLI listener line!!!

PS> You have to be drunk...

aimee in little rock said...

I think we're going to some part of OKC called "Bricktown" this weekend, which is where I guess there are a lot of good bars and what-not. St Patty's day is on Saturday, right?

goofball said...

I'm getting off work early on friday to go have lunch and see 300 with a beautiful woman then I will get drunk on Saturday as all Irishmen must. I loved Sin city (especially Rosario Dawson) so I'm sure 300 will rock.

goofball said...

Oh yeah thanks Aimee and Kimberley for another entertaining episode.

I meant to mention it last time but i think crazy christian Cliff and his giggling wife a douche's too.

Anonymous said...

That picture of Dominic is frackin' hilarious!

PalmerEldritch said...

Aimee, how was Bricktown? And did it involve Legos?

I hope that the Podfather is just making up names for areas to confuse you as you're new to town. "Uh, yeah. That's... uh... Bricktown and over there is... Lampville..."

aimee in little rock said...

We haven't gone there yet, but I think that's where we're going this weekend, because he said there's a lot of bars there and stuff. I'm pretty sure it's real!
