Maybe Danielle's going to help Kate kick some Ana-Lucia ass.

I'm fairly positive that a cat-fight is somewhere in Lost's future, and although I'm totally rooting for Kate, I just don't think she could take on Ana-Lucia without some help.

Did you not get chills during that crazy bitch staredown between Kate and Ana-Lucia? I'm not even a guy, but I can't wait to see some rumbling in the jungle between them.

The pic looks like a DHARMA Pylon right out of "Land Of The Lost".

I think the way poor schmuck Jack is going AL and Kate are going to become friends and Jack will not hook up with either after they start talking. Or they could both side up with Jack and be part of his Army against Sawyer as the New Sheriff and he will still not get any action.

Can anyone decifer a Symbol on the "Gate"?

i am going to call this "hatch" the "gate", even if the inside of it is an Ice Rink! it will forever be known as the "Gate"!

i looked at the "Gate" closer, and noticed that the picture is of Two Snakes twisting around each other, called Caduceus.

also look up Aaron's Rod, on wikipedia!

...oh yeah did i mention,KABLAMI!

i believe that the "gate" was where Clair was taken by ethan!

Good thinking Ralph... and if that isn't where Ethan took Claire, I'm guessing that's where the guy who had the rash (in season 1) is hiding. Or did he die already?
But I have heard (from the Lord) that Claire is going to start regaining her memory (oh yeah she lost it) and I bet she starts to remember once she goes into the gate (hockey rink) and everything looks familiar (torture devices).
OOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Hurley will find a big sack of weed in there and go party w/ Vincent.

i was just lookin at those fake logos for the dharma stations that have been circulating around for a few monthes...i noticed that the logo on one of those 'fake' logos IS IDENTICAL to that of the logo on the door...maybe they werent fake after all...the logo is also matched with a hatch name / hanso study, that being, "human advancement." wow i'm a god damn genius.

That symbol, associated with ancient Greek physicican Hippocrates, is used as an image of the medical profession because of the Hippocratic oath doctors swear to uphold.

Now, onto more important matters. Elvis, are you saying you're not from America? Is this why you think Elvis lived in Nashville and not Memphis?

What does 'ish' mean in "Check out this ish"?

Love the podcast!

Hey Scott and Steve. I love your podcast! The other day, you guys were discussing what those lines on the DHARMA symbol mean. I've been curious myself. When I got to looking at it, though, something seemed familiar. Don't those symbols look an awful lot like the symbols on the South Korean Flag?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Flag_of_South_Korea.svg

There is a connection here, too, with Jin and Sun both being South Korean. Wikipedia says that the images on the flag mean, Heaven, Earth, Moon, and Sun. Several of those images are also on the DHARMA symbol. Just thought that may add to the discussion. Thanks for your great show!

Thanks, Indigo.

Ish is a colloquialism short for issue. However, it is used to replace a so-called four letter word in the radio edits of explicit pop songs. Which four-letter word? All three letters in "ish" appear in this word but in a different order. The fourth letter is a beverage popular in England and India.
