Get Madison From Her Trailer

It looks like we will get a Rose and Bernard flashback on the upcoming episode "S.O.S.". Now we can finally see what Mr. Gorpley has been up to these past couple of years. In addition to Spoilerfix announcing that they will no longer have "Jake in Progress" content on their site, they had this to say...

"We'll see Vincent in next week's episode."
Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide

thanks again spoilerfix, we owe you a debt of gratitude!

WOW! A Perfect Strangers reference, that's really old school.

I have to admit that I can't go without the vital information provided by spoilerfix.com. I would hate to not know that Vincent is returning. How 'bout a big hand for the first class investigative reporting from Ausiello.

in other news,
Ms. Lippy's car...is green!

Does that mean we'll see the monster too?

Ralph- said...

i am sort of done with the monster. the monster helpped "sell" the show to me, but now that there is more interesting things going on, i could take or leave the monster. Unless the monster is nanobots controled by "Alvar Hanso" who is not a person, but rather an AI program created by the Dharma Initiative to study human behavior on the island.

Ralph- said...

looks like a clean slate to me. looks like you dont know how to start a conversation.

Good point, Ralph. How are they ever going to get back to the monster? Unless the monster is Alvar Hanso.

A few days ago I was shopping for a new ringtone (because my husband says the "Lost" theme ringtone I have is too quiet) and I almost downloaded the theme song for Perfect Strangers just to show the world what a dork I am.

I ended up settling for Chris Daughtry's version of "Hemmorhage".

By the way, my Lost soundtrack finally arrived in the mail, and it is awesome!

IT'S NUDIE MAGAZINE DAY!!!

is that it, patrick? did the penguin make you do it?

eric's pregnant? feel those kicks, he's gonna be a soccer player!

This just dawned on me.
"Henry gale" heard the timer count down in "One of Them" and heard the Magnet charge up, then shut down. by hearing this, he knows how much information that Locke knows about the timer. In "Lockdown" Henry decided to let the timer get to the exact same point that Locke got to, then he hit the execute button. this allows Locke to hear what he heard before, and allows Henry to feed Locke a bullshit story about not punching in the code.

why did he do this?
cause he is an asshole.

I wanted to pose a question, just to try and spark some conversation that might actually be related to Lost (as opposed to Billy Madison):

If they kill someone else off by the end of season 2, who do you think it will be?

Follow up question:

Who do you think it SHOULD be?

Ralph- said...

i think that claire should die, leaving the drama of who would/should take care of aaron! Locke vs. Charlie vs. Sun!

Michael R said...

I think they will probably kill of Walt or Ana Lucia.

I can honestly say I haven't missed Michael the last few episodes so it should be him that they kill.

Ralph- said...

yeah, michael has not been missed, but i bet you that it would suck, big time, if he was killed off. i know i would want michael around in the future. i dont think any of the 815 survivors will die this season.

with easter coming up, we should talk about our favorite Lost easter eggs. what a fun little game that would be!

Anonymous said...

We should have a 'most stupid easter egg' hunt.

Ralph- said...

Has anyone mentioned the fact that Eko might be building a Memorial for those people who had not survived the plane crash?

Ralph- said...

i think that it would be cool if "Dave" showed up on the island for real. But not really dave, just a dude that looks like Hurley's imaginary friend, and this guy works for dharma, and used to do experiments on Hurley, and hurley tried to block him out of his mind, but then created the imaginary friend based on that dude's image. and when hurley sees him on the island, he flips out and thinks he is going crazy, when he is actually not. or i just wish something cool would happen on lost this week.

And how would Libby fit into your theory Ralph?

Ralph- said...

i still believe that libby was studying patients for her schooling.

Didn't Daniel Dae Kim say in an interview that there will be a deathj, that it's been filmed, and there won't be a dry eye inj the house? I think that's how I remember it?

I haven't missed Micheal much, but doubt it's him. I'm leaning towards Jin. Maybe Walt, as he's growing up too quick for the Island timeline.

I was just thinking the other night...maybe the Monster is "Him"?

Anonymous said...

i hadn't thought about the actor growing up too fast to play Walt for much longer. good call. that would make for a tear-jerking death as well, in fact i think it would totally suck.
i like michael. i miss him, even if no one else does. i think Charlie should be killed off.
Ralph, I was thinking Eko was building a church, but your idea works too.

Ralph- said...

a church seems so extreme for someone who probably has faith that he is getting off the island. i think that it would be such a huge undertaking to build an entire church when that type of energy could be used on something more usefull. i think that it is a memorial, due to the fact that eko wants to use natural materials for it. did you see how he tossed away that dharma pallet that charlie gave him? this is a memorial made from pieces of the same island that brought these people to their deaths.

as far as that daniel dae kim interview. i believe that i heard that same interview from before boone died.

aimee is lost said...

I think in order to figure out who they're going to kill, is to examine the back stories they've covered. Before they killed off Boone and Shannon, they had more or less resolved the questions from their back stories. So what do we know?

- We still don't know how Locke ended up in the wheelchair (so he probably won't die yet)

- We don't know why or how Kate was married before, and a lot of her time on the run (so she's a doubtful choice)

- We don't know much about Jack post-divorce, like his time in Thailand

- We pretty much have Michael & Walt's story wrapped up (Other than what Michael did between Walt going to Rome and his mother dying...working for Widmore construction possibly?)

- We pretty much know all there is to know about Claire

- We pretty much know all there is to know about Charlie

- We don't know who the real Sawyer is yet (and I don't think we will until moments before Sawyer bites the dust)

- I think we're missing some path-crossing between Ana-Lucia and other 815'ers.

- We pretty much know all about Sun & Jin (other than the REAL father if it's not Jin)

- Eko is still way too cool to kill off and there's a lot to learn (such as what he did after his brother died)

- The only thing we don't know about Sayid is will he ever find Nadia (well, obviously not while the show's running and he's stuck on the island..)

- We know pretty much everything about Hurley too.

So, now that I look at it, there are a lot of good candidates for the next kill.

I hate to guess, but I think it would be really interesting to kill Jack, just for the purpose of seeing who would emerge as the next leader.

Anonymous said...

i don't think a church is too extreme. it could be a modest chapel. when did Eko say he has faith that they will get off the island soon? i dunno, a church seems fitting for Eko. time will tell. maybe even this week, but i'm not holding my breath.

Ralph- said...

well, i hope it is not a church. i dont want eko hanging out in that spot for 5 seasons, building something. i want to see him finnish this season, than start whailing on monster ass!

Jimmy said...

Aimee,

I like the logic in your "Who might get bumped off" post. It is obvious that the writers want to clear up storylines...unless a particular character just flatly isn't working for the show. I actually felt like that about Shannon...quite expendable at the end of the day.

Using your analytical take, and my hunch, I hereby predict that it will be Jin. I'm sure of it.

Jimmy said...

So if it is a church that Eko is building, I wonder how it will be used in the show? I was imagining a couple of seasons down the road where the Lostaways begin to fragment along religious lines. Sawyer making a rival church of debauchery (though the chances of him actually making it are slim at best).

I can't remember...did Kate and Claire decide not to tell anyone about the medical hatch?

Ralph- said...

yeah, and Kate didnt tell Jack Locke or Sawyer that the man who captured her, was really wearing a disguise.

Jimmy said...

Yes, because of course, if someone on this show actually "told" someone what they found/discovered they might actually begin to figure things out. We can't have that, can we!

aimee is lost said...

It's that damned "curiosity amnesia" that is the REAL sickness on the island.

Jimmy said...

Totally Aimee. I loved the way that just as Henry began to talk about "him" and what he'll do, Sayid goes ballistic wanting to know how many of them there are! I think I actually said "Shut the fuck up dude!"

Wouldn't it be a total headspin for everyone after this 2 or so months to find that after all they have been through, that these guys seem to be playing dress up? I mean, it's a totally important piece of info that could change the whole tack. They almost certainly wouldn't be invested in the button anymore. Jacks army idea might go out the window? All kinds of things.

All Kate has to do is tell Jack. Oh well.

Anyone think Eko is building a church?

Ralph- said...

damon and carlton mentioned that there will be a 2 week break after tonight's episode. that sucks. apparently next week is a rerun and the following week is a recap episode. COME ON!

Ralph- said...

speaking of recaps, i could sure go for 32 points of revelations right about now.

Anonymous said...

i like ralph's idea about the memorial, but i think it could be a memorial for the nigerian plane, not 815. also, he might not build an entire church, he could just build an alter and something to cover it for when it rains. maybe some cool benches. (bible engravings on the sides anyone?)

Ralph- said...

OOH!
maybe he is building a lookout tower? to spot ships, or th "Others"!

Anonymous said...

anonymous, what is the difference between "a whole church" and an altar and some benches? As I understand it, a church is a Christian place of worship. It can be a church without walls. Those are not unheard of even without the whole roughing-it-on-an-island factor.

I may just be an unsentimental fool, but I think a memorial is a waste of time. Isn't that what grave markers are for essentially? If they didn't want to memorialize the dead, they'd just dump them in a hole in the ground, sans tarp and sans grave marker.
