Indy's real dad is Abraham Lincoln's ghost. No lie.

/ok, maybe a lie

speaking of Indiana Jones, anyone seen Young Indy lately? Sean Patrick Flannery looks way different than he used to. cauliflower ears and stuff.

Hurt could play his uncle/Henry Jones' bro, I could see that. But he'd make a kick-ass baddie too.

anyone played Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis?

That was a great game - it had a wicked sense of humour as I recall.

anyone who thinks that jay's language is clean, off the podcast, is crazy! if you have heard the latest Married Man Podcast, you know that jack and jay can work blue, they just choose to keep the Lost Podcast's language family friendly.

they mentioned on one of their early episodes a year and a half ago that the language they use on their show would not be worse than the language on Lost. They feel that it is a family show, and that their Podcast reflects that.

In comic con, i hung out a lot with Jay and Colleen. They are really cool and totally are 2 peas in a pod. You can say that colleen has a foul mouth, but so do a lot of people. If there is anyone who is the opposite of a prude, it is Jay. everytime that jay has been on the dharmalars, i have tried to get him to loosen up and curse it up, but i can tell that he is trying to set a good example for those who listen to his show, especially the kids.

explicit tags are there for a reason, alway expect the F word to be uttered at any moment. i was surprised to hear it on the Married Man Podcast today, but i knew that it would happen one day or another. anyways.... Jay and Colleen are awesome and i hope that they dont get too much shit for being together, cause they deserve to be happy.

fuck.

I want that Yankee prank to be true - too funny. Although I have to say - if my friend did that to me, we might not be friends for awhile - lol

Bruce Campbell News

Actor Bruce Campbell has turned down the chance to star as Elvis Presley once again in the sequel to Bubba Ho-tep, insisting the character is "dead to him." Campbell has been offered the lead role in the comedy Bubba Nosferatu and the Curse of the She-Vampires, but rejected the opportunity because he and director Don Coscarelli have failed to solve their creative differences. He tells Fangoria magazine, "Don Coscarelli is a very passionate filmmaker. We got to a few points that we couldn't reconcile. I
want to keep our friendship, so we parted ways. So I'm not part of that project."

So - who can fill those shoes? Cary Elwes? Val Kilmer?

PalmerEldritch said...

Only one man for the job now: Sebastian Haff.

andrew. said...

i'm still convinced that Nathan Fillion is the new Bruce Campbell. How awesome would he be as senile Elvis?

Val Kilmer does an awesome Elvis, but i don't know if i could take a whole movie with a blurry filter.

second casting idea:

Elvis from the MYOKMwSAS calls.

if we get to 400 again, Rock Riddle will flip a shit.

Where's my avatar???????

Jimmy said...

Oh, there it is.

Also, can I just say what a pleasure it was kicking it with Aimee and Jordan. My hangover Friday was legendary, and I wasn't even out long (that night).

We recorded Friday night, and I believe Aimee is possibly in the air heading back home right as I type. Fun times :)

Ralph- said...

well, jimmy, the phone call that aimee left on the dharmalars line will not be edited. so i am sure once the good folks over here listen to it, they will understand why you will have so much to edit. yikes, what a phone call!

Kim, i would love to hear what you all had to talk about last month!!

mb said...

THREE podcasts to look forward to! yay!

I better get on updating that month old spoiler seg :) yikes

Did anyone watch "Tell Me You Love Me" on HBO the other night? Our girl Penny (or, rather, Desmond's girl) jerked off her husband and they showed everything (including fluids). I heard it's just really good props. I'm not convinced though.

Jon said...

Oh, in other LOST news: I am a professor of psychology at Temple University in Philly. I show tons of LOST clips. Today I showed Sawyer in the cage to illustrate a Skinner Box. This student came up to me afterwards and said he's getting flown to Hawaii to play percussion with the Honolulu symphony next week at some "Night of Lost" concert. Terry O'Quinn is apparently hosting it. Anyway, I told him to bring me back something cool...I'll let you guys know what I find out.

PalmerEldritch said...

jonathan, those bodily fluids sound like a LOST tie-in to me. JizzIsland indeed.

Holy shit Ralph. Aimee and myself were joking the other day that our call to the Dharma line was really going to test the limits of "anything goes". lol. Oh man. And for the record, the call was made Sunday night after a full day of football and drinking. And Aim is a bad influence on me. That's all I can say. :P

Jimmy, the feeling is mutual. That was a blast. Be sure to keep the unedited audio, so I can hear it at some point. And MB, it was a real treat meeting you and the wife. Weird finding out that all these internet people exist in real life. Even more weird to find out that they are actually cool people.

mb said...

Ditto Jordan! Give a call whenever you come down, would love to hang out again. Will do the same when I/we are up there.

Trevor McFur said...

Damn, I'm away from the blog for one day and I find out that, not only are there 3 podcasts a-coming, but that another Temple person is frequening the blogspot. Jonathan, I was at Temple Hospital for 5 years, and moved on a little over 2 years ago. The wife and I live outside of Reading now. Whereabouts do you live in Philly?

Jon said...

Hey Trevor! Another Owl! I used to live in Center City (Rittenhouse area) and just moved to Manayunk last month. It's cool to see another Philadelphian here. Sadly, everytime I talk about LOST in class I get little response. Apparently it's not huge with the Temple students. But I almost crapped myself when this kid told me he gets to go and perform at the LOST night. He said he never watched the show until he found out he was going to be playing with the symphony. I had to google it just to make sure he wasn't bullshitting to get out of taking the test. It appears he's not...

Lost wigs.

Trevor McFur said...

Manayunk is one of my favorite areas of the city. I lived in East Falls while I was at Temple, just about a 5 minute drive from the Manayunk Brew Pub. Rittensouse Square is great too, especially the restaurants, but I could never afford the rent to live in Center City.

andrew. said...

sweet link.

i think Libby & Jack are king & Queen of the bad wig prom.

Ralph- said...
