"Henry Grayle" is the name of the Principal at Carrie's high school in the Stephen "the King" book. I was so shocked that none of the other podcasts had caught onto that, not even lostpedia had mentioned it. I coined the phrase 'golden egg' for those rare occasions when I stumble upon something that no one else notices.
Wonderful show as always, I especially enjoyed the part where you referred to me as a machine.
Thanks for bringing the SaS back! This was a great podcast week; we got all of the Lost Initiative shows!
Craig, it cost more money to send that ream of paper than it did to buy it. But it was the look on your face (that I'm sure you had) when you opened the box, and said to Andie "What a freak!" that made it worth every penny.
I liked the way that they used the Red Sox World Series win. And Ryan, don't forget that when deciding what news to tell Jack Ben only had the events from Sept. 22, 2004 to Nov. 29, 2004 to choose from. Sure, an American would probably be most interested in learning the outcome of the Presidential election, but the Red Sox win was also a big news event during that time. What would you have chosen from those 69 days to tell him about instead?
Craig, you took the words right out of my mouth when I saw the leader of the hippy potheads. I thought it was M.C. Gainey the first couple of times I saw him. Whoever it was, he looked familiar.
Another Cure cover? And more Flaming Lips? And their big hit?
I'm just going to be the guy who talks shit on the music choices from my ivory tower (a lame expression) in the land of the rising sun (another lame expression).
I'm having serious issues right now with the Lost prop guys. They need to stop grabbing whatever is convenient and remember that people like us are paying (too) close attention to detail.
I've got 22 new books that have been identified, which appeared on the bookshelves in Jack's doctors office flashback, and a handful of them were published in 2005; after the 815 crashed and well after the flashback occurred.
At least one of them was a Harry Potter (Azkaban) that I've already read, and there's another Stephen King book I get to read.
Has anyone listened to episode 50 of Generally Speaking. It gets embarrasing at the end when Cliff and Stepho take their criticism far too personally. Cliff even suggests that they might not do it anymore.
One can only hope so, clit. At least he can continue to sell his "how to make a podcast" things on eBay. But of course he'll have to add a chapter about knowing when to quit.

I had a feeling this would be the weekend. Glad to have you back! Downloading...
I thought I was dead too, turns out I was just watching Marie Antoinette.
It was very pretty to look at, but very boring.
Nice stuff guys, I really liked it!
Agree 100% with everything you said about Desmond, as well as Mr Eko's supposed wise statements.
Good to hear the SAS!

Tiger Woods got married in October 2004. That's about all I could find. Sorry.
More SAS at last!
Thank the lordy!

Dilbo
I know he's not as obscure as Christian Shephard, but I'm always seeing shit with Terry O'Quinn in it, that I totally forgot he was in.
It's nice to see a cameo from Dylan on the blog! You need to drop by more often.
Yeah, stop by more often Japanese Pete.
And use the military DSN system in Japan to call the SaS line.

Why is Locke bald in his flashback licence photo when he has hair in the same flashbacks?
I have no idea, but now I'm going to have to go look and see!
maybe locke was a hare krishna before becoming a hillbilly in a drug compound.
