Great job guys, and perfect timing too. I started it when I left my house and it finished right when I arrived at work.

And I was the last caller which was sweet.

Great podcast. Definitely the funniest listener call-in sections I've ever heard.
The old complaining bloke was an absolute classic. "Stop the bullshit you assholes!".

Mike Campbell said...

Nice Can't wait to hear it!

Nice job. I go into work at 6:30 on certain days to set up and since I'm alone, I listen to podcasts, and you guys got that prime spot this morning. Def a success.

Mike Campbell said...

You guys did crazy stuff with your audio. I am listening with my headphones and ben is in my left ear and ralph in my right. crazyness

aimee in little rock said...

Yeah Mike, that was pretty cool. It was like being in the middle of a Dharmalars sandwich, and I was the meat. Or peanut butter, for you vegetarians.

Mike Campbell said...

Now aimee is bringing the naughty :)

Datty Mike said...

Yeah that left ear - right ear thing was pretty cool.
I listen to podcasts at work with one earphone in and one out, so at first it was just ralph having a conversation with himself.

aimee in little rock said...

Well I am the reigning queen of explicity, Mike.

how about that super loud jimmy segment? wow, i will make sure that never happens again. This was our first outing using actual mics. when i listened to it last night with my headphones, it made it sound like ryan was in my room laughing. it was very disturbing.

aimee as for being the last caller, all calls appear in order in which we recieve them. so any of you guys who want to make a lasting impression, can wait until the last minute to call.

aimee in little rock said...

Yeah, I figured that's how it worked, and assumed I was just lucky.

I'm downloading now...and recording at the same time, I wonder if I should listen to yours before I finish the Diary?

Can't wait to hear what you guys have put together

Ralph- said...

dont worry about listening to us first.

Guys,

fucking great stuff. The "South Bank Show" of Lost podcasts...except with filthy mouths!

You realize I temporarily deafened myself!

:)

aimee in little rock said...

What? WHAT? Speak up JIMMY!

aimee in little rock said...

Just kidding. Awesome job Jimmy. I like the new music feature. Breaking new ground in the Lost podcast community.

Ralph- said...

well jimmy, it looks like your segment was noticed. i will make sure you do not kill people next time.

K from the T-dot said...

Ok, I'm off to work. The iPod is locked and loaded...Jimmy, I'm looking forward to your segment ;) (I'll have to remember to turn down the volume)

The Lost Diary is ready to go!!

Catch up with everyone later,
~K

aimee in little rock said...

I'll take that accent at any volume!

BTW, there's a great deleted scene (that's also quite lengthy) from last night's episode of The Office up at their website.

Ralph- said...

oh shit! i didnt even watch the office, or earl. FUCK. i totally forgot.

i think i will repost the episode sometime this weekend, so that the audio is better.

I have to emotionally separate myself from Lost occasionally by remembering to watch other shows too. I know I only have 2.95 seasons left, so I consider it "planning ahead".

The part where Jim is playing the video game and can't turn around was adorable.

Did anyone look at the American Express Video Clip of lost yet? I don't have a American Express card but i guess all you need is the phone number on the back and the persons name. Anyone nice enough to share or at least describe what it is.

aimee in little rock said...

I forgot all about that. I bet someone's got something on YouTube by now. Standby...

Mike Campbell said...

i was trying to find it on you tube but failed. I need the help of Aimee

Lost American Express video 3x01

I can't see the video because I don't have the Macromedia Flash Player, so don't spoil me.

Mike Campbell said...

That was lame. Maybe if it came out before wednesday it would have been cool. But it was just a few clips from the show. It didn't show anything new

aimee in little rock said...

That's good. I love it when they say "exclusive content" and we fall for it, EVERY..SINGLE..TIME.

aimee in little rock said...

I'm going to sneak out of work early now and go see me some Dane Cook-ness. Peace out.

Joe said...

A small plea from the less techno-savvy among your listenership: Please cut it out with this mp4 stuff... I'm not smart enough to know how to make that work... mp3's I can work with... Help a brother out.

URMothersMullet said...

Saw "The Nine" I liked it, but how long can they string out not talking about two days of being held hostage?
Dr Phlox from Enterprise was good.

Your Podcast was very smart ass, that why it is so good!

Jimmy's segment almost blew out my too expensive Altec Lansing speaker system.

Bully to you all for the premier entertainment!

Ralph- said...

you can right click the file on the libsyn page and convert it to mp3 on iTunes.

Ralph- said...

i have already gone in and fixed the Audio of the show, now i just need to find out if i can replace the existing version with the new and improved version

Benjamin said...

Mullet, I have the same fears as you. I mean, clearly some shit went down during the 52 hours they were in there, but how long can they make me say, "Wha' hoppa?" I'm going to give it several, several weeks because it's already way better than Nightmares and Dreamscapes and I watched that through every shitty episode.

Earl was great as usual and the Office was outstanding. That scene between Michael and Dwight was epic. And I finally caught up on Studio 60, which is also an outstanding show. YAY TV!

sayten said...

Hey, whatever happened to the scene that Ryan leaked about the little girl in the playground telling Jack that "Sarah can't be trusted"?

sayten said...

...and as several people have already brought up, wtf is going on in this picture/deleted scene?

click.

aimee in little rock said...

Dang, I guess we'll have to wait for the Season 3 DVDs to find out.

Jellymanianos said...

Weird picture! That kid is doing a brilliant job of looking creepy and needy at the same time. And Jack, despite having his eyes closed, and doing a great job of being unconcious, still looks like he's about to cry.

Kate looked excellent, and very much a 'lady' as that rat-faced shit stated. She's my favourite by a long, long way (apart from Aimee, of course!)

aimee in little rock said...

I can't compete with Kate in a dress, but I can hold my own at the shooting range....thanks Tim!

Ralph- said...

for those of you wondering, i put up a new slightly better version of the Tale Of Two Cities Dhamralars Podcast up. the audio is a tad bit better, and jimmy does not MURDER YOUR EARS!

thanks for the patience on this one. we will have it right, come next week.
