once again, sorry for the harsh language, but i just needed to get it out of my system. there will be even less cursing in the next episode. i will try to use funny phrases instead of curse words.

Funny phrases like Maggot farmer instead of muthafucka?
My favourite non-cursing phrase is: instead of 'For fucks sake', i say 'Schiest dem Fenster'; which actually means 'Shoot the windows'. For the film geeks: it was said by Alan Rickman in Die Hard. I don't know why i say it, it's just a weird personal thing.

That's okay Ralph, I had my laptop with me at work, so I downloaded it on the work computer and used my usb drive to transfer it to my laptop.

Tim, Alan Rickman is the man. He makes me want to schiest dem fenster.

Internet Whore Alert!

I finished another Lost Library blog update & it's available for your viewing pleasure at:

http://lostarchive.blogspot.com/

For those uninterested or simply too lazy to look, there is one part I wanted to make sure everyone knew about, as it pertains to Lost:

The design of The Mysterious Island is eerily similar to that of Lost. The book is composed of three parts. In the beginning of part 2, another survivor is discovered, and in the end, they sight a ship off the coast.

This is in close resemblance to Season 2 of Lost, when Desmond is discovered in the beginning, and Desmond’s boat is discovered off-shore at the end.

Part 3 of the book reveals the "secret of the island" as well as the man behind the curtain, so to speak. Can we expect this much to be revealed by the end of Season 3?

if anyone love themself, its me, just ask my shower.

pretty boring weekend. we watched You Only Live Twice, which is a great bond movie! if you are not into james bond that much, and are willing to watch an old connery one, Y.O.L.T. is probably the way to go. it is very exciting and funny.

other than that, nothing. flat out bored. i wish that comic con happened every weekend, but at my house.

I am listening to the official lost podcast and they say its combo of the questions from comic con, ralph maybe you are on it again. That would make you a regular contributor to the official podcast

Mike, I finally got around to watching "Rent". It was surprisingly easy to follow, even with all that singing and dancing shit.

I don't know if I can discuss Rent without Ralph disowning me permanently. I'm on pretty thin ice as a Dharmalar to begin with, and I don't want to jeopardize that position.

Mike Campbell said...

Ben - I will pick you up if ralph disowns you, and we will search for the truth of what a Dharmalar is!

Aimee - i'm glad the singing and dancing didn't get int he way. I have been truely addicted to that musical for 10 years and i was very happy to see they didn't screw up the film that bad. The only problem was when Roger was singing "Living in America" and he raised his arms up and there was a shot of the mountains. I laughed pritty hard at that show, nothing can be perfect.

Well, let's just say I'm a huge fan of musicals in general, and that Rent endeared itself to me against my original wishes. I was dead-set against that show back before I dropped out of college, but I listened to it three or four times as part of writing an essay about it for my musical theatre class, and I found that I really enjoyed it. I've never seen it on stage, but I was pretty impressed with the film version.

Ben - You should really try to see it Live some time its amazingtastic! I am also a huge musical theater fan, its good to know there are some out there!

I have a random computer question. I downloaded something and they are all ziped files. there are like 200 files, i was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to unzip them all at once or if you had to unzip them one at a time.
