James + Sawyer + Juliet = Jawyliet

andrew. said...

- pronounced JOYliet =) fucking show made me a shipper.

- hey Holli, i was looking at your timeline and noticed this
"July 2, 1979 - Charlotte Lewis is born (assuming her birthdate she used off Island is accurate)"
guess she lied, LOST got sloppy, or Daniel is ready to call any fugly little red head girl Charlotte.

- oh yeah, i got to catch a minute or two of the ustream. it looked like fun but i had to jet. looking forward to the finished product (whip crack!)

LOL, here we go again...

:P

tonight's escapades on Ustream was very fun!

I miss it every time.

Sam and Nate, on March 6th, have shipped my t-shirt for the now defunct Dharmalars that I ordered on February 5th. That's poor service, folks.

WTF is that video at the bottom of the home page playing that ridiculous Lost Untangles BS?

Andrew, I noticed that discrepancy today, but haven't updated my blogpost. Judging by last night Charlotte was born in 1971-2. I was also discussing today how we didn't see Chang last night. We were speculating that the 70s buffoon crew were there to build the stations and the science folk have yet to arrive on the Island. That could mean Charlotte is older than Miles, though she appears to be aging better. Miles needs a little Miss Clairol at this point. Then again maybe talking to dead people makes you go gray early. Maybe Ms. Mader could ask Mr. Leung.

Juliet does have a nice back.

Steph, your message got me wondering, whatever happened to that DharmalarsGolden Ticket?

I love LOST

UStream of TLadIes was awesome fun.

GO Team KIM!!!

JoeSC said...

Damn... missed the U-Stream again! Sorry guys...

Just watched the OLP Videocast and it had a decent interview with Josh Holloway. Best part, though, they pretty much put the whole "the DeGroots were in Geronimo Jackson" debate to bed. Thank God!

Alirio said...

I care about the DeGroots but I couldn't care less about Geronimo Jackson.

I find the four-toed statue fascinating, but I fear it to be too close to an Erich von Däniken bullshit idea, that I'm hoping that we've seen the last of it in the last episode.

I love this show so much I'm afraid it'll go down that scary, racist road of ancient civilizations are all related and helped by aliens kind of drivel.

I now find myself hoping for fewer introductions of mythology, and more character motivation-based intrigue.

500th post - wow seriously? That seems impressive. I guess 4 years of posts adds up :)

Total blast watching the recording - wish I could watch every week.

Stephanie, it took exactly one month for me to receive my shirt. 7-10 days...ha!

I saw Watchmen tonight...weirdest moviegoing experience ever. I have no idea if I liked it or not. I simply walked out thinking, "I just saw a movie."

"I now find myself hoping for fewer introductions of mythology, and more character motivation-based intrigue."

Welcome to the club. Smart choice.

Jordan said...

Holder, Had you read the book prior to seeing the movie? I'm guessing not. Cuz I can definitely see how that would be a weird one to walk out of if you don't already know how it ends.

Jordan said...

Apparently the entire cast of Seinfeld is going to guest star in several episodes of the new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Not sure if they will all be together at once or not. But that's cool news for any Seinfeld or CYE fans!

Ode to JOYliet!

"I couldn't care less"

Oh, Alirio, man. You have no idea of the simple joy that this phrase has brought me. Bless you, sir!

As for Charlotte - have we forgotten what show we're watching? When she finally leaves the Island, she might take a slightly wrong bearing thus exiting about 6-7 years later than she intended.

Mr. Bill said...

Wow! I take one night off and miss all the fun.

No ustream, no post discussion,no Kablamo.

There is no way I can catch up on the post discussion, it would be easier to read watchmen. :P

Steph, I too was wondering about my order placed on 2-21 but got an email yesterday of shipping notification. Still no word of shipping on my TLI shirt yet. I guess thong orders take precedence. :D

I also want to add that I'm happy for "Jawyliet" they seem like a good match and I'm not a shipper at all. Also Fuck Kate and Jack!
coming in and possibly breaking up their happy home.

Has anyone thought about possible hookups for Jin or Miles. Three years is a long time to be around a bunch of brownie eating, free lovin hippies without a little sumpin sumpin.

R.I.P. Paul...

Chris, I assumed Charlotte would leave in the normal sub method which DI seems to have down without unusual time problems. But I agree she could end up on some weird time. Funny how the O6 didn't though. That Frank. He's a damn good pilot.

It would be interesting if Charlotte and mom turned the wheel to leave. It would explain how she knew about the well. It would explain a time jump. It might also explain why she was more adversely affected by the time skips. And it gives me hope that if time starts skipping again it will take Ben out first.

Chris JC said...

Maybe Frank, on his realisation that they were not going to Guam, went back to the cockpit and tried to hit the bearing from memory.

I don't fly planes so this could be nonsense and that the bearing only makes sense from the stationary position the island was in during the freighter incident, but hey - I've heard far stupider theories.

JonFromNKY said...

Jack loves Kate Loves Sawyer loves Juliette , , blah blah blah blah mother frickin' blah.....

I'm just sitting back, waiting for the aliens to show up. The same aliens who built the device that's inside the island which causes it to move through the space/time continuum.

The same device, which if not used at the precise moment, will destroy the earth, if not the entire known universe.

Then will JATEYERLIET (JackKateSawyerJuliette) be? They'll be endlessly crushed into a singularity. And who wants that?

WHO WANTS THAT!?

Stephanie said...

Seeing Watchmen immediately after I record Confessions with Chris this morning. I have no idea what to expect and I love it.

Burn Notice finale! OMG! I love this show. And we only have to wait til June for it to return. That's one good thing about these low-rent cable shows.

PalmerEldritch said...

i saw Watchmen at midnight but will let Steph watch it before posting anything. don't want to influence her one way or the other. :)

Chris JC said...

Steph is watching it RIGHT NOW.

PalmerEldritch said...

ah!

well, then, i think i liked it. it's definitely not an X-Men movie or a Spidey movie or even a The Dark Knight. it's much more... the Watchmen. a slow burn instead of a short, hot flame.

the first third didnt work for me but the rest did. not sure why the first third didnt. maybe the acting, the directing, the editing, the music, the CGI sets?

Manhattan and Rorschach were great.

andrew. said...

i doubt i'll get to the movie any time soon so i read the comics again yesterday. they were full of spoilers.

PalmerEldritch said...

also, i fully expect it to be polarizing. i think a lot of people won't like it and a smaller percentage will like it.

i may go see it again with the ladyfriend so i may find out if my opinion changes.

the trailers beforehand were pretty good.

for a nerdy movie, Star Trek looks pretty badass. i'm not sure if the music in the new trailer is Giacchino or borrowed from another soundtrack but i really enjoyed it.

Chris JC said...

It's very Dark Knight-ish that new trailer music.

PalmerEldritch said...

is that where it's from? or just reminiscent of?

also, in the UK, will Dr. Manhattan be referred to only as Dr Manhattan?

Jordan said...

Speaking of trailer music. You know the Watchmen trailer with the Smashing Pumpkins song? I was at a friends the other day and he asked me if it sounded familiar. I said, yeah kinda. Turns out it was originally on the soundtracks to one of the best movies of all time. Batman & Robin. Hahaha.

Chris JC said...

Very good, P.

He's actually "Doctor Manhattan", like "Doctor Who" so actually this discrepancy should not arise.

Chris JC said...

Palmer - it has the feel of TDK but isn't. It's probably original Giacchino.

Jordan - is it that "The End is the Beginning is the End" song or whatever way 'round it went?

Jordan said...

End of the Beginning, I think. Don't quote me on that though.

PalmerEldritch said...

poor Doctor Manhattan has blue balls.

Stephanie said...

I'm sick of looking at Dr Manhattan's blue balls.

PalmerEldritch said...

if only he were PG instead and a never-nude like my avatar!

Jordan said...

Never nude Doc Manhatten. Haha. Someone needs to photoshop that.

PalmerEldritch said...

Who Watches Kablamo?

Stephanie said...

Why did they cover up Manhattan's junk only half the time?

Jordan said...

I'm guessing because if it were out in the open the entire time, they'd have to get a different rating. That and it's not showing the entire time in the book.

Chris JC said...

It got rated 18 here, but that was for violent content rather than CGI knobbage.

Jordan said...

Yeah. You Euros love knobs.

Mr. Bill said...

I liked Watchmen, big time!
I had never read the graphic novel and ordered it a couple of weeks ago and didn't read it and I'm glad I didn't. I loved that the story just unfolded, but then...the cock. I must admit it surprised me.Judging by the cock I suspect in the french version they will call him Dr. Royal w cheese.

Leonard Cohen – Hallelujah...nuf said.

Chris JC said...

"Yeah. You Euros love knobs."

That's why Tom Green was such a big star here. What a total knob.

Stephanie said...

I can't say yet weather I liked Watchmen or not. It's definitely like nothing I've ever seen before. I didn't hate it. I don't think.
Crazy.

scrdmnkydst said...

"Yeah. You Euros love knobs."

...I'm saying nothing.
