MB, Jimmy, and Jordan, I've booked my ticket to Seattle, so I'll see you soon!

MB, you'll have to let me know which days between Sept 6-11 are convenient for you, so I can decide what day to drive to Portland. Sunday's out though, because I'm going to a Seahawks game with Jordan.

Yeah, I did that spoiler thing as a joke because of Ralph's ComiCon podcast.

[ally] said...

Wow, Holli. Thats an odd looking picture. Nothing like a Skate in the morning :)

aimee is lost said...

That's a good looking Skate baby!

Ralph, I totally remember the hot air balloon. The best part about their spoiler segment was the mispronunciation of "foiler"...foilier, foler, floyler...It was Craig who couldn't say it, right?

PalmerEldritch said...

i totally thought of Anchorman while visiting the pandas at the San Diego Zoo.

i looked for a place where someone could fall in with the grizzly bears but i figured no one would appreciate the joke if i pushed them into the enclosure.

What awesomeness I find when I come back from cutting the grass -- some SAS and Aimee procreating with Sawyer and Peter Petrelli.

Holli

[ally] said...

Wow, I go away for a while and I come back to all kinds of babies. I don't know which one I like better, PeMee or Aiyer.

Well off of names alone, PeMee just sounds weird. lol.

memphish said...

It's really cool to hear the SASers talk about Season 2 from inside Season 2. All the speculation is great fun. The tailies have the sickness, e.g. :D Maybe they were right.

Trevor McFur said...

This is hard to understand. Aimee is a hottie, as any blospotter can tell you. Peter/Sawyer are good looking guys. But Aimee + Peter/Sawyer love child ... yikes! What happened?

memphish said...

The problem with the morpher is every male ends up with facial hair.

Holli

Yeah but even without the facial hair, they look weird.

Trevor, I think I like SawMee better than Aiyer. Thanks for helping me out with that one.

PeMee and SawMee.

Awesome.

PalmerEldritch said...

at least PeMee has pretty eyelashes.

other than that, pretty damned disturbing.

I concur with anonymous. Let's see what a Balph baby would look like. I'm guessing it would be pretty hairy.

Ralph - thanks for posting those episodes - awesome!

The morphing is fantastic.
Can someone please let me in on how Jay and Jack are related, please? I think I'm the only person who doesn't know.
Brett Cullen has his own show on the CW this fall. Some knock off of a British show. Wild at Heart or something like that.

Anonymous said...

I think I read somewhere that Jack is Jay's step brother.

Trevor McFur said...

I don't know either Steph ... I've always assumed step-dad & step-son. If you find out, though, make sure you message me!

PalmerEldritch said...

if you had gone to comic con, you could have gone to the jay and jack panel and found out how they are (or aren't) related!

actually, when we ran into Clif in the airport, he said he taped the panel (which i skipped in favor of Heroes) and would put it online soon.

i told him to "lose the audio" for those few revelatory seconds though... let's hope he didn't listen to me.

Anonymous said...

Hello. Long time reader, first time poster. I have a curious question for the Aimee & Kimberly. Are either or you girls married? Just curious. I'm sure the answer is yes and your husbands are very lucky men. But I wasn't sure as you never talk about your family lives the way the Dharmalars do.

memphish said...

I think Jay is Jack's step-son because they always refer to Jack's wife as Jay's mom but they've been married less years than Jay is old which doesn't necessarily mean anything, but in this case, I think it does.

Steph, I read that Brett Cullen's role in that CW show was re-cast with another actor which makes Goodwin available for LOST or Ugly Betty which he appeared on several times last season and Friday Night Lights too. I hope you've recovered from Morganpalooza.

don't think it is though.

So I get home tonight to find the dog sitting on the floor looking very guilty, and my wife asking me, as soon as I walk in the door, "You love the dog, right?" Turns out she had a throwdown with the TV remote ... and the TV lost. We have a nice TV, but the remote is replacable, and I'm old enough to remember how to get up from the couch and work the it. Plus, we have separate remotes for the cable, TiVo, and DVD player. So no big deal, really. Then I'm like, "Honey, does it feel a little warm in here to you?" Turns out that the AC is out. Temp in the house right now, at 9pm, with all the windows open and multiple fans going: 85 degrees. Predicticted high tomorrow afternoon: 95 degrees. OK, still managable, because we were actually on the verge of replacing it anyway, we have a good portable unit for the bedroom, and we're out of town next week anyway, so even if it takes a week or so to have it fixed, we won't necessarily have to be here suffering. But anyway, I finally got my first disc of 'Arrested Development' in the mail today, which I've been really looking foward to watching. So I figure, we'll laugh through the sweat, and I open up the package ... AND THE FUCKING DISC IS BROKEN IN HALF!!!! DAMMIT!

Fucking mail!

PalmerEldritch said...

huh. well, TB, that post ought to immediately alienate you from just about everyone here.

jay and jack kick ass. they have a PG podcast but they're both normal, funny, occasionally foul-mouthed guys. and they're ralph and ben's friends. and jack got me into the LOST panel. so, he can do no wrong in my book.

I only started listening to Jay and Jack because of MYKoM w/SAS, and I heart them. They're actually entertaining, and they work so hard at making those podcasts, and you can tell, too! Thing is, I listen to way too many podcasts, and mainly because J&J had two podcasts out a week, I couldn't find the time to listen to them any more...which sucks, but occassionally, I download one just to see how they're doing.

I think it's the Step Father/Step Son relationship, tbh.

An update -- I still hate Comcast. Cable still not fixed, now they say 30 days (which was yesterday) and bill royally screwed up with alledged internet credit under cable tv heading and lack of service credit at best partial and they refuse to do anything else until service is restored but they can't tell me when that might be. Take all those swear words in the videos and apply them to Comcast!!!!!!

I think Comcast executives, i.e. anyone above the level of phone answerer are all people in the witness protection program which is why they won't let you talk to any of them. The accents would give them away.

I hear in Sept. DirectTV is supposed to be adding new HD channels. When that becomes true, dish here I come even though I hate having to have a box on every TV ever and I'll still be stuck with cable internet from Comcast because BellSouth DSL is even worse.

Rant over. Ahh for the innocent days when the problem was the guy locking his keys in the van.

speaking of jay and jack, i message clif asking when the whole panel would be up. hopefully, it's soon. then we can answer The Question once and for all.

[ally] said...

So... Palmer, do you know the answer to "the question"?

Benjamin said...

To be fair, TB isn't being anonymous, he's picked a consistent username. As far as the Jay and Jack love, TB, it's mostly down to being friends with them and really respecting what they do with their show. I can dig that you don't necessarily like them, and that's totally your right. I just don't know if anyone here's going to agree with you.

However, like any other topic on the boards, if it bugs you, wait it out. It won't be half a day before we're obsessed with some other topic.

Re: the Jay and Jack thing. A good while ago now, I read this very phrase on Lostpedia:

"The podcast is operated by the father and son team of Jay Glatfelter and Jack Glatfelter from Raleigh, North Carolina"

Although having heard them in action, step-father makes a lot of sense.

I was most pissed I missed "The Con". That change in the Panel schedule totally fucked me over and it suddenly wasn't viable. Next year, hopefully.

I'd also like to add (in defense of Jay, and anyone else for that matter) that there is nothing wrong in marketing yourself. Fans want content, they drive it...J&J wouldn't have done this more than 5 times if people didn't choose to get on board. If you don't like it, don't listen...that's how it works. TB, you mentioned you met him at CC. Cool! But you must have gone out of your way to do so.

Have you ever considered that Jay was probably pretty hip and with it "before" he did a podcast?

Anyway...I'm not ranting or lecturing...just attempting to start a social commentary.

I understand Jimmy. Smart words on your part. Maybe I'm not in the right place to say this talking to a bunch of podcasting superstars. But to me, the thing that makes podcasts cool and fun is the fact that they are made by fans for fans. If I want hot shots who are trying to become famous, I can watch tv or movies. Just because I don't make a podcast doesn't mean I'm some lowly fan compared to a dude with a computer. I may be in the minority, but my favorite podcasts are those whose host show humility and are down to earth. I've listened to more than a few who upon getting bigger, the shows seemingly jumped the shark when the hosts got big heads. J&J one of them. And for the record, Jack is in no way an ego-maniac. I met him as well and he was awesome.

One final podcasting related rant from me. And don't worry. None of y'all fall into this category. But it seems that every podcast I listen to of late is begging like crazy for their listeners to vote for them in some sort of award thing or contest. I'm sorry, that is just annoying. And worst of all is when podcasts ask for you to go to their website and donate them money and or/ go to itunes and leave good feedback for them. If your show is good, all that will follow! Begging and sounding like jerks isn't going to help.

And btw, I didn't know about Michael returning until I visited your page. Thanks for the spoiler. lmfao.

memphish said...

So you've been living under a rock for the last week TB? That spoiler's been mainstreamed since last Wed. when the television critics pitched a hissy fit until the head of ABC told them. Glad to see you've got your news gathering apparati prioritized. :D

Holli

Jimmy said...

Actually Thaddeus you do mention a pet peeve of mine. It's kind of hard to explain as I both totally understand the "Unpaid amateur up against the big guys" thing, and the humility thing. But yes, I do find that there seems to be a run on podcasts of late that blur the line when it comes to promoting and asking for support, as opposed to begging for support. I find the begging aspect kind of uncomfortable and I don't think it comes across as attractive.

I think the better casts are ones in which the listener (casual listener particularly) can't really distinguish between the pro and the enthusiast. At the end of the day, you aren't meant too. It's deemed "cute" at the moment to mention how amateur you are...Geekbrief for example has the pretty girl doing all the proffessional stuff and then chooses to show how they are trying to remodel the kitchen but need a bit of sponsorship.

Could you imagine if Peter Jennings mentioned between stories that he was short of cash and needed help with his wireless bill? Just something I find a bit odd.

I'm highly interested in the New Media and what it means to the picture at large, hence my sudden writing. I actually see a future where those who were once paid a great deal have to take quite a cut...genuine competion...gems amongst a mass of general crap...just like any other medium change in history. We are in the growing pains and finding our feet. Like anything, the feeling of excitement and perceived glamor wears off fucking quick when you have to meet a deadline! All involved in the show (TLI, MYOKOM, Dharmalars) over the last two years know that feeling, am sure.

I'm totally listening to and understanding your points...they are very honest which is good. The spoiler thing is unfortunate and I think in todays media, it's really difficult to avoid that kind of thing and yet at the same time deliver content that people want. I think the actual definition of Spoiler is under question too. Damon, Carlton and ABC totally, utterly are out there "promoting" the fact that Michael returns! This is more marketing...now, not one of them marketed the closing moments of Season 3. That would have been a spoiler! This is my opinion.

Ralph- said...

i remember reading , After season 2 ended, that damon and carlton said that Michael wouldnt be back in season 3 but would return in season 4....so it is sort of well worn territory

Anonymous said...

You are right Jimmy. It can't really be called a spoiler when ABC is out promoting it. But it's kind of just like ABC's next week on Lost's that Ralph refused to watch. They spoiled the crap out of some stuff, but they did so on purpose. It's just annoying as fans because things that should be genuinely cool surprises and reveals are taken away from us because the networks are desperate for ratings and are totally willing to shit on the loyal fans in order to gain some more casual ones.

elias said...

on the other hand Lost wouldn't exist without casual fans - the show is too expensive to film in Hawaii with good actors and high production values without a wide viewership.

mb said...

TB & Jimmy -
My 2 cents:
I have listened to podcasts (none currently) which are a little zealous on the self-promotion, but I have to disagree about doing a moderate amount of self-promotion and some fund-raising in podcasts. I think the fact that J&J, and K&A, and B&J and an astounding number of others put so much work into production, raising SOME funds to allow for equipment upgrades or travel to events like ComicCon seems totally fair to me, as they produce a lot of free entertainment for us. I'm always amazed at the work ethic as I can barely get myself organized enough to produce 10 mins let alone an hour+.

Some compensation in the form of promotional gear like shirts and stuff is a positive thing and actually can help solidify a sense of community among listeners - like Balph have done w/their shirts.

Podcasts aren't exactly a cash-cow type of situation - I don't see them becoming a commercial lucrative enterprise, which is what would bother me.

mb said...

As far as spoilers go ...well i guess it's obvious how I feel about them

elias said...

I do find it ironic that the whiny TV critics demanded information from TPTB when they've mostly dumped on the show for two years. Cuseloff obviously feel the need to placate them.

on the begging for donations - I have no problem with it because I get podcasts for free. it would be utterly presumptuous of me to tell them to stop doing it.

Anonymous said...

I listen to some podcasts where on each show they have a dedicated segment, usually at the end, where they go through a whole list of begging. What sites to vote for them on, where to donate money, where to buy their crap, go print out their fliers and post them at your school/work, etc. It is just in poor taste to me. In any medium, the cream rises to the top and gets it's just due. Jimmy is right. This isn't 2005. And where I may still feel that podcasting is nerds being fans, it is becoming a bigger deal. That said, either you're a goofy little fun podcast doing it for fun, or you're trying to be taken seriously. Either way, begging for money is in poor taste. Goofball hobbies don't deserve to beg for money. If people want to go out of their way to show their appreciation, fine. Nobody gives me money for my hobbies. Just because they aren't of the public variety, doesn't make them less of hobbies. And on the other hand, if you are trying to be taken seriously as a medium of entertainment, begging for money/praise is even worse. Jimmy's Peter Jennings example is perfect. Just because you are starting out at the bottom doesn't make it any different. Budding film makers don't start or end their first films with, "I don't have a ton of money & I'm doing this for you guys. So please go to my web site and donate money to me showing your appreciation for my hard work." Yeah, you can argue that they get paid for their stuff. But just like people using podcasting to break into the media biz, film makers don't make money to start with either.

PalmerEldritch said...

when done tactfully, asking for donations isn't too bad. when done tackily, it's awful.

i think Jay and Jack have it right when they offer you something (a t-shirt) that they can get a small percentage from. that way, you get a cool t-shirt and they get a small percentage of that towards tickets to comic-con or whatever.

by the way, our mics are really not good at all, ben and i have to do a lot of work to keep our heads straight as to make sure the mics pick us up. Case and point is the Jorge interview, he would move his head ever so slightly and the audio suffered from that tiny bit of movement. we need new mics, so we put out shirts so that we can make, a tiny bit of scratch to get our show up to the standard that we want. ALSO those buttons that we are handing out arent free, and it was ben who took 100 dollars out of his own pocket to give out those cool buttons to the fans of the show, it would be a shame if he were not compensated for doing that selfless act. It is a hobby, but one that does not need to burn a hole in our pockets.

thanks for the backup MB and Jimmy!

The scary part about Jimmy's Peter Jennings comment is that this is indeed where broadcast news is heading. I figure CBS will start a mini-telethon to pay for Katie Couric any day now.

I agree TB that I don't like hearing people asking me to fund their hobby even when I enjoy it. On the other hand, I don't mind them making a profit when they offer me a T-shirt or some other token in return. You would not believe how many PBS/NPR totebags I have. :)

PalmerEldritch said...

if they even get a cut of the t-shirts. i'm not sure about that but i remember them talking about the possibility when they first started dreaming up the shirts.

PalmerEldritch said...

yeah, having used the microphones, they are pretty shitty. producer ryan spent the whole show motioning for the mic users to practically deep throat the damn things so that the audio would be... audible.

that said, it's a damned quality podcast that i enjoy the heck out of.

Benjamin said...

If we were nominated for something, I think we would mention it, but for the most part we try to keep our pimping classy. We say, "Buy our shirts," not, "Give us money." I think selling shirts is A-OK, but straight up asking for money through PayPal for nothing is a bit much.

And yeah, we'd like new mics and stands, so those of you that have shirts need to send the pictures in (like many of you have done) because I think there's no better advertisement.

Is anyone going to watch Masters of Sci Fi on ABC this weekend? I just heard about it, but I'm setting the DVR when I get home.

Wonderful comments Holli. Agreed.

Ralph, You hit the nail on the head. Tact. That is the key here. You guys being able to buy better mics with your t-shirt money is great. It works all the way around. Fans get tshirts that they choose to buy, you guys get better equipment and arent forced to hurt yourselves financially doing your hobby. One show in particular I used to listen to that had 5 hosts used to flat out beg for money so they could all have their own fancy mics. That annoyed me like hell. They didnt shut up about it until some listener finally just sent them mics in the mail. And even after that, they continued to ask people to make monthly donations to their show.

Ralph- said...

That sounds interesting, ben. tell me more about it!

ALSO!!! WOO HOO, Flash Gordon starts up on USA and Sci-Fi network on the 10th!!

PalmerEldritch said...

ben, ralph, and masters of sci fi interested people. check out the Scott and Steve forum for more info.

Ralph- said...

Just So everyone knows, I would still want shirts available, whether we made money off of them or not. I love the idea of having fans. And i love the idea that people would be such a big fan that they would wear our shirt to show support. it is not about the money.

i know that there is a show out there who have a paypal donation button on their site, but dont put forth the effort to give something in return, other than a podcast. Granted, podcasting takes a lot of effort to produce, but still, Sam and I did a lot of work to get the shirts out there. Sam did the majority of the work, but it is a labor of love. I would never ask for a handout. I am really fired up on the next wave of shirts, i know that sam has big plans in store.

Trevor McFur said...

Speaking of the shirts, whatever became of the Golden Ticket?

As far as the pimping goes, I don't think it's too big a deal if, as others have said, it's done tastefully. Doesn't podcasting cost a little bit of money, to host the files, etc (beyond the already stated work & effort, and equipment upgrades)? I don't have a big problem with podcasters asking for some financial contributions if it's being used to either upgrade the show or to make sure that the hosts aren't losing money on the podcast. Again, I think that doing it tastefully is the key.

For the spoiler thing, there's always folks out there who are super-spoiler free ... don't want to hear any casting news, no 'Next of Lost', no information at all before the show airs. To be honest, I think that, if you're that spoiler-free, then you're taking responsibility for any news that you might stumble across when you're listening to a Lost-related podcast, or hanging out on a Lost-related message board. Posting detailed episode spoilers, stolen scripts, etc. is one thing, but info that's tough to avoid unless you're living in a cave somewhere, that's a little different.

that's what she said...

Total lurker here, but I have to throw in my comment....

Ben & Ralph...if you guys need new mics, I personally would donate some money. What about the listeners who truly are happy to throw you a little ching for your efforts/our entertainment, but don't want a tshirt? Personally, I'd rather give you cash because then you get more out of my donation, and I dont' need another tshirt.

Sorry to rewind the discussion a bit, but here's a link to an interesting blog regarding the TV Critc flap with ABC last week.

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/sfgate/detail?blogid=24&entry_id=18868#readmore

This is the local TV critic in the Bay Area, where I live. He makes some interesting points why the critics felt snubbed that ABC would rather unveil S4 nuggets at ComicCon than to the press. The context is that this press conference was being held at the annual TV Critics Press Tour, which is paid and organized by the TV Critcs association. The networks get buttloads of national press for months to come about upcoming shows from this one tour. Newspaper and magazine reviews are worth more than any paid advertisements, regardless of it being a positive or negative review. So, I can see how the TV critics might feel jilted.

Anyway, it opened my eyes somewhat, but I still like that ABC seems to care more about their fans than other networks.

elias said...

good stuff Mattastic but the TV critics, on possibly the lowest rung of the ladder of print journalism, still felt it was fashionable to sneer at Lost "jumping the shark". for two years.

The reason I get annoyed with pocasts who ask for monthly donations is this. Basically what is happening is that they are looking at their monthly download #'s and going, "Just think if each one of these listeners were to donate $3 a month. That's nothing to them, but would add up to a ton for us!" Then they go on complaining about how they are financially strained to do a podcast for all the fans. Note, many of these "labour of love" podcasters do this stuff semi-professionally. They say to the fans that you're sponsering them with just a small montly donation helps keep them afloat, yada yada yada. But they are just saying this because they want to make cash from their 15,000-20,000 listeners. I'm not pointing figers at the podcast here. But with some it's just so obvious what they are attempting to do. And same with asking people to promote your show in their city for you. Your "fans" (which i think is a bullshit term for this stuff to begin with. if listen to a radio show, i'm termed a listener, not a fan. why do podcast listeners have to be called fans?) go out of their way to give you a bigger audience, so you can in tern get large enough in some cases to get advertisers on your show, and you then go and ask for donations? I'm sorry for ranting. I listen to a lot of podcasts, a lot. And this seems to be the current trend big time. And there really isn't the place to discuss this issue.

Mattastic said...

elias, very true, the large majority of TV critics have panned Lost the last two years for too many unaanswered questions, slow moving plots, complicated character connections, etc....

Tim Goodman though (the author of the blog I linked) is one of few TV critics that has contiually praised Lost. So, I suppose I'm lucky that my hometown critic is as much a fan as I am. I got to him last year, before S3 started, and asked him point blank if Lost would last more than 3 seasons. Without stuttering he said it would go more than 5 because ABC had so much invested, and because DVD and merchandise sales alone would keep it alive that long. Thankfully, his hunch was right.

Ralph- said...

SMKGrl thanks but we will be able to manage. we are fine with our mics right now.

Trevor we are still waiting to hear from a golden ticket winner, but have yet to hear anything.

TB, you will never hear us bitching about how we dont have money to podcast. i know that Ravenscraft has pulled stuff like that, but we strive to distance ourselves from his show. dont worry about us bitching about money issues. i would quit the podcast before asking for handouts.

Trevor McFur said...

I think that playing advertisements during the show AND asking for donations would be crossing the lines of the 'good taste' that have been mentioned...

memphish said...

Here's the thing about the TV Critics--they were their to hear about the FALL TV lineup. LOST ain't on this fall. Oops. Spoiler alert.

As for ABC and the fans, I think with LOST they are somewhat accomodating, but they really, really, really need to improve their LOST website. They should have taped the ComicCon panel and have it up on ABC.com now. They should have done that with all the shows they pimped at ComicCon. I mean don't put them up that weekend so that the people who bothered to go got a preview, but put them up now instead of making us rely on other fans for the info.

Now that the Golden(rod) ticket question has been answered, I pose another...

Where in the world is the Chin book? Have we gotten an updated map?

* ok that was 2 questions :) *

memphish said...

Yeah, what happened to the Chin at Comic Con? Was it out all night partying? I hope it didn't fall into the Harbor.

Trevor McFur said...

As far as I know, The Chin is still in Ralph's posession in Anaheim, Ca (with a short detour to San Diego last weekend!).

If the Golden Ticket winner never presents himself, will a new & improved tic be sent out?

I'm really glad this subject came up and everyone got their teeth into it, thank you.

I just want to stress that like TB, my quandry lies in the casts that in an attempt at promotion (buy a shirt), end up whining, bitching and begging. Telling me how hard it is to get a show together for me to listen to does not endear me to the podcaster.
Ralph mentioned a cast in particular that I too feel is guilty of this. Trust me...if I didn't enjoy doing the show, I wouldn't do it, and I can speak for the rest of the team too.

I'm also going to mention that the whole experience of doing this has:

A) Expanded my own personal knowledge

B) Got me to meet some fucking cool people

C) Enabled me to make an ass of my self to an international audience

Good times :)

Whatever, Jimmy! You're not making an ass of yourself. Everyone will agree that you could be saying anything and you make it sound super interesting with that accent of yours.

Hey TB sorry if i came across the wrong way when we met at comic con. I wish i could remember our encounter I sure hope i didnt come across as an egomaniac.

Anyone who knows me knows that I love podcasting and im always there if someone needs help with their podcast. Back in the early days of LOST podcasting with Myokom w' sas and the transmission. We were a group of podcastig buddies, and we are big fans and friends of the current myokom offspring Dharmalars, and TLI.

If you like us or not thats cool, perfectly fine by me. I think that Myokom w/ SaS was the funniest and best podcast I have ever heard, and I would have to say The Lar's content is on par with the SaS boys as well (I love you too Aimee and Kim ;) )

So in short if I come across as an egomaniac i'm sorry dude that is never my intention, I don't think I do, but who knows, and no worries if you like us or not I expect some people not to like us and some to like us its how it goes.

If you listen to the latest J&J episode, i appear. they are really good friends.

First of all, let me say that Ben just cracked me up hardcore. He really is the most egotistic podcaster out there, you should drink with him sometime...or listen to him talk in his sleep, it's very entertaining/egotistical, not gonna lie.

Anyway, Comic Con was incredibly overwhelming for all of us and often times, it was sensory overload. I know that, personally, there were times when it was so busy and crowded and so much to see/do that I went into shutdown mode (which is rare, trust me), so if you caught Jay at one of those times, don't be discouraged or offended, not to make exucuses for him, but it really was a stressful time for him, specially leading up to the panel, bc it's nerve wracking.

In short, Jay and Jack are really amazing people. I wish that you had had a different experience to see that. They have NEVER once hesitated to help a fellow podcaster with anything, no matter how trivial it is or whether or not they know who you are. To me, that shows true character and an incredible amount of class and most importantly, modesty. Ralph is right, they are friends to all and most importantly, decent, friendly, modest, NORMAL people who deserve every fucking bit of success that they get. Say what you want about me, but Jay doesn't deserve the rep he's getting on here.
