Still at McWane. Ready to go. Morgan is not. What's this Jimmy's Flashback?
I learned that WiFi is microwaves. Does that mean it causes cancer? Sorry, that's my grandmother speaking.

PalmerEldritch said...

so, what's so great about McWane? does it have an IMAX theater where Leonard Nimoy shows you lobsters in the intro like the Boston Museum of Science does?! huh?! huh?!

jayhawk said...

Nice one. Thimmy!

FYI, someone should take the "%20" out of the file link.

Ralph- said...

should be good now

Ralph- said...

i cant wait to see what happens next....

Anonymous said...

So what's the deal with car phones? Have you seen these things?

Stephanie said...

Yeah, p. It's an IMAX theater but no Leonard Nimoy.

This is what happens when you **** a stranger in the ass!

bravo, jimmy. now, i need the next exciting chapter as soon as possible. it's like an ol' radio serial (albeit one with tongue firmly in cheek). great stuff. keep it coming.

/that's what she said

Or is it clever advertising? Whatever Jimmy's selling, I'm buying.

Now I need some TLI to round out my MYOKM w/SAS listening pleasure. Kim and Aimee you're up. Give us an update. Are you ready to give out Season 3 awards? Talk about highs and lows? I need book recommendations too.

that was the shittiest pile of whale testicle episode of the Lars ever! wow, that sucked butt sweat. i can't believe i wasted 20 minutes of my life listening to total pure nothingness. the only saving grace of the entire thing was the triumphant return of dre from la. that debate totally sucked. i had to vote for who i thought had the least suck butt argument. and you guys wonder why all your hordes of fans didnt jerk off all over you guys at the flyers game. and those stick it in your cue's were pure rat anus. the big lebowski is the most overrated pile of monkey feces i've ever experienced. i got a debate for you guys for net week, what is more painful, listening to the lars or tweezing your public hair. if you guys want a good podcast, check out the lost boys podcast. that thing is the piss. i hope to hairy hell that i dont run into you guys at comicon. i might poop my pants worse than alf that one time the neighbor lady wore a thong. whoever did the long island lady impression on the call in segment, that was friggin' lame. did i mention how much this episode sucked racoon nipples? holy fruit loops. it was worse than listening to cliff ravenscrotch for a week straight. anyway, love the show. can't wait for next week.

ps - i was talking about the lars, not jimmy. jimmy, that was superb.

Did somebody say LOST BOYS?

/two coreys. one movie.

Ralph- said...

Hey Anonymous, it is Queue, not Cue. Learn how to spell before coming to the Adult Table, Jackass! Thanks for listening i am glad you enjoy the show!

Ralph- said...

palmer. i love that lisa simpson is still into Corey, even though there hasnt been a single famous Corey in years!

Trevor McFur said...

Wow, those Lost Boys really know how to sell their podcast...

Anonymous said...

The Love Boys Podcast is monkey shit.

Stephanie said...

I believe there's been fraudulent Lost Boys postings. Don't hate The Lost Boys.

Anonymous said...

I think it's fake too. but that pod cast does suck butt. and the guy used to spam this board. so thumbs down to that crap. anybody here get an iphone today?

mb said...

Did Kim say they are recording this weekend? Shite. I don't have a seg ready and I am going out of town tonight till Wednesday.
Damn - sorry! I didn't know there was going to be a new TLI - I was going to put something together. It will have to wait...

Trevor McFur said...

That's a likely story mb.

Cool, netflix has a new drag 'n drop feature for your queue.

PalmerEldritch said...

Well, The Illusionist was disappointing. It's definitely no The Prestige.

Wonder what's next in our queue? I'll try to convince the girlfriend to throw The Big Lebowski in the queue.

Yes, I've never seen the entire thing. :\

Just listened to the new lars and jimmy shows. Friging awesome! Best shows around. much Better than Jay and Jack or Cliff ravensbutt or that horrible lost boys attrocity. I need to find a summer tv show to watch. Reccomendations?

memphish said...

Did anyone watch Burn Notice Thursday? It was okay; something to watch. Our cable was acting up so the picture was less than great. It seemed to have a little for everyone -- cute boy, lots of girls in swimsuits, MacGyver like conversion of household items, and the guy who killed Laura Palmer, not to mention the Chin who IMHO was a little disappointing though in large part because his role was pretty small and extremely predicatable. I'll watch again next week. Probably.

Stephanie said...

Mr Richardo, you're about two weeks too late for the summer tv show discussion but I'll catch you up. John from Cinnci, Flight of the Conchords, The 4400, Kyle XY, Rescue Me, Big Love right off the top of my head.
I survived 12 hours without the blogspot.

Mike Campbell said...

well i got the passport and i leave tomorrow morning. I wish everyone the best and i am going to call the lars from switzerland. Maybe to some lost reporting, see how lost is over there.

take care everyone

Trevor McFur said...

Congrats Mike ... I was pulling for you but honestly didn't think that it was gonna come in time. Have fun.

Happy Canada Day Kim!!

And Happy Hong Kong Day to all : )

Stephanie said...

P, I prefered The Illusionist over The Prestige but as we already established I have strange taste.

Stephanie said...

I finished season one of The 4400. I loved all of it except Mulder and Scully, I mean Tom and Diana kinda got on my nerves. It's probably because the season wasn't meant to be watched in two sittings. It was kinda like Head Six and Baltar, if you watch it week to week it probably wouldn't have bothered me. Can't wait to see why some of these foks aren't on anymore, like Lily and Richard. How in the heck can he be the baby's daddy? I guess Kyle or whoever explained it at the end.
Now what is going to distract me from not being able to access the blogspot today? Maybe Lost.

PalmerEldritch said...

Happy Canada Day, Canadians. And, apparently, Happy Hong Kong Day too!

So, we should all celebrate with games of hockey and Jackie Chan movies!

My favorite Chinese restaurant has pictures of the owner hanging out with Jackie Chan from every time he goes back to Hong Kong. Not sure if they know each other or if the guy just likes to stalk Jackie Chan...

for another reason i am not a fan of Zimmer. This goes to show you that a composer can compose a complete score without the aid of henchmen. I think that i will have to talk about my film score history on a podcast. I may even do it as a special episode of the Lars. We'll see. I get a lot of people asking about composers i like and dislike. You know what, i am gonna do it!

Darryl Cunningham said...

Zimmer is lame. True.

Is it just me, or are modern film composers crap, compared to those of the past?

Even the truly great living composers, such as John Barry or Ennio Morricone, are mere shadows of their former selves.

You have to go outside the mainstream to find anyone half decent.

PalmerEldritch said...

Tall Guy,

you're forgetting one notable exception. STAN BUSH!!

Just saw the Doctor Who finale... Some great parts and some horribly awful parts. We may have to find some place to argue about Russell T Davies where people won't get spoiled.

Doctor Who Season 3 (of the nuWho) starts on Friday (the 6th) at 8 on SciFi in the US of A. Get your viewing glasses on.

Oy! Do we get the Christmas Special first?

t-dot kim said...

Yes Happy Canada Day to all!! ;)

Jordan said...

You too Kim. ;)

Stephanie said...

Kimberley, how do you celebrate Canada Day?

PalmerEldritch said...

steph, i celebrate all holidays with a good ol' fashioned KABLAMO!!!

mb said...

Hey all,
posting from the road (Ashland, OR - beautiful spot on earth). commandeered a laptop b/c you all are worth it (read: i have an addictive personality and can't be without the blog).

Palmer - damn you're fast w/the Who viewing - do you use You Tube or a magic box? gonna have to see if i can scrounge some viewing on you tube or something.

But first I have to record a segment for TLI b4 bed

mb said...

....and it just dawned on me that it's SUNDAY not Saturday (slaps forehead)
Boy that vacation state of mind kicks in quick- lol

mb said...

now it makes more sense that I would be behind on the Who viewing.

t-dot kim said...

Stephanie,

I celebrate Canada Day with a 2-4 of Beer, BBQ, and Fireworks.

Trevor McFur said...

Happy Monday to all. I hope that most of you blogspotters are off a few extra days this week for the holiday (unlike me!).

Finally got down to under 20 podcasts on my iPod over the weekend ... first time since early in season 2, I believe...

Dude, that anonymous post was awesome. Very creative with the swearing, and letting us know how much we sucked. Sign it next time, dude. Nobody minds being told we're shit, but a lot of people here have issues with potshots taken without owning up to who you are.

Steph, the chemistry between Tom and Diane definitely settles down. I remember watching it at first and wondering if it was the first gig for both of them.

Mike, have a nice trip.

Ralph- said...

Tall Guy, there are Several composers working currently that are AWESOME. it is just finding them. The problem is that people reallly only know names like Zimmer and Horner.

I seriously think that i am gonna work on a Film Score retrospective podcast as a one man show. i really want to dscuss film composers.
