Dude that was fast, I can't believe you finished that thing already! I will listen to this as soon as my eyes are fully open. I listen with my eyes. And sometimes ears.

P.S. Send Wrigley my love.

Hey! I am a student of the University of Missouri St. Louis! Hope you had a good time in STL. Loved the show it was great to hear Dylan again.

Benjamin said...

Can't listen now, because I'm busy drinking and drawing on my friends. But I can't wait to hear what went down! See you guys next week for the season proper!

Hey, that was great! I missed listening to all of you....

By the way, you know when you guys mentioned "The Soup"? When I was in New York, I met Joel McHale in my hotel's elevator. He was nice, but I didn't ask for his autograph because I'm not too crazy about "The Soup". A little random fact for you all.

Godspeed, Speed. Dylan left for Japan this morning.

Kick ass. that podcast rocked. great to hear dylan and amy was awesome! She should start her own podcast; I would listen. The calling in to a podcast on a podcast has to be the most amazing I have ever heard. I must say, I wept out of pure joy. WOW just kidding, but i would say that it was my favorite MYOKOM w/ SAS ever. TOO BAD Amy's exactly right: I had no idea until I was in complete happiness withdrawl and searched again for MYOKOM w/ SAS that ya'll had changed feeds and not just dissappeared off the face of the planet. You should record like a short little thing on that feed and say "Yeah, we changed feeds, search for the lost initiative in iTunes" for all those people who are stupid like me and didn't change with ya'll. OK, I'm done now. GO MYOKOM w/ SAS!

Dylan,
i visited my Grandparents in-laws in nebraska, and was going to walk to the corner store (literally right there on the corner of their street). I got lost and stevi and my father in-law came looking for me two hours later.

no bullshit.

FYI I have seen my brother light his fart about 25 years ago. A blue flash...oh to be 15 again :|

Thanks for sharing an actual eye-witness experience. It's still difficult for me to believe though, without seeing it with my own eyes. I'll bring a lighter into the studio next time.

holy sh*t! i'm so excited...i'm downloading the episode right now!

PS> i'm not kidding...i can hardly contain my excitement

I'm chatting with Kimberley right now, and she's actually at work while listening to the podcast. She just did a traffic report on the air while listening to the podcast and started chuckling when they got to the part about the "Dharma-lames". She's hoping she doesn't get fired now.

aimee is lost said...

I'm so tempted to look at it, but it's only 3 more days, and I really want to be able to have that "gasp" factor when I watch it, so I'm going to fight it.

Scott and Steve said...

What the eff! There's a "Classic Car Auction Marathon" on ESPN Classic. What a colossal waste of time.

aimee is lost said...

Aren't there like 12 ESPN channels anyway?

Anonymous said...

Surge was the best. that is all.

aimee is lost said...

Craig, I forgot to tell you - I grabbed a "Coke Blaq" at the gas station before I took off. Horrible, horrible, stuff.

I couldn't even taste the "coffee" part of it; I don't know if it was because we just had breakfast where I drank actual coffee or something, but it just tasted like thick, flat coke.

Ralph- said...

i drank a 2 liter of Surge on the way to Las Vegas in the middle of the night after a late shift at Disneyland. I had to piss like mad in Baker, which is the halfway point to Vega$.

No Bullshit.

Straying from classic cars (insert Tim Allen stupid grunt thing here) can i move to some Lost shite?
After i heard Aimee talk about Sun losing 2 people close to her, i couldn't help think about her unborn kid. Without getting into the madness of 'is a foetus a person, etc, etc' could this be one of the people close to her who dies? And maybe that dude who taught her english could be the other person? I expect Jin flexed his oriental muscles and beat his face after he followed Sun to the hotel or something.

Genius episode by the way, fucking loved it. I am in fact on my second listen, due to the inaudible madness that happened a few times where Aimee's half shouting something at Craig, who's listening to Ryan point out something to Dylan, who has taken something Aimee said far too literally. Superb.

aimee is lost said...

I was rather gigglish Tim, but I swear I was only drunk on SaS and nothing more!

Mike Campbell said...

Well i thought i would be that guy. Here is what happens in Lost 3.1

http://www.aintitcool.com/node/30265

I haven't looked yet but i don't know how long i can last.

aimee is lost said...

Why Mike? Why did you have to be THAT guy? You are so in the doghouse until Wednesday night.

Anonymous said...

Ok...that was just the greatest part of my entire week! Loved every moment of this podcast. "Dharma-lames" = never gets old. Sorry Rolph :( I'm probably going to get fired, I had my iPod earphones under my headphones listening to the cast during my shift at the radio station...LOL, "Dharmalames"

Seriously, good work and Aimee--you're quite to potty mouth!

aimee is lost said...

You can blame the military for that one.

Anonymous said...

You sounded great Aimee - love that accent.

Anonymous said...

Mike, i have the page you linked to behind this one that's open - i'm at work, what the fuck am i doing.

Anonymous said...

nope - won't do it, but tim no function lost well without.

Ralph- said...

Craig,
what is with Diamonds are Forever? That was unexpected.

Ralph- said...

LAME!

aimee is lost said...

Rolph, I was wondering the same thing about that song when he started playing it, and wondered if it was on purpose.

Ralph- said...

i would have gone with a more lively bond song, like the living daylights or a view to a kill. but i guess diamonds are forever is cool.

Mike Campbell said...

Aimee - I am sorry, Please don't hate me.

So if everyone is going to turn out to be the opposite of what they appear then i would think Sawyer is a Gay Fashion Designer.

I looked at the episode summery for next weeks Lost on Tivo and it says Henry make Jack an offer he can't refuse...I ask you what is that offer?

Mike Campbell said...

Oh and i think Rape is too strong a term. I think that it should be called Surprise Sex. Less harsh a term.

Ralph- said...

Unauthorized Entry?

aimee is lost said...

What "unrequited penetration" conversation are we talking about here? Craig's catch-phrase, or his one-year-old canine? Because if we're talking about Wrigley J, I am SO over that heartbreaker.

Scott and Steve said...

We were playing music from an album called "Gold Digging: As Sampled by Kayne West." And it features the original songs that Kayne borrowed for his "Late Registration" album. He used "Home is Where the Hatred Is" on his track "My Way Home" and he used "Diamonds are Forever" for "Diamonds From Sierra Leone."

i just emailed you guys a youtube video of a flaming fart...i'm ashamed that of all things, this is what i have to offer

Jimmy said...

So...

I was away for a bit this weekend and then our work internet crashed so I'm really only just getting into the groove. But wanted to say how really cool it all was to have the 4 of you doing your thing. I had a good laugh.

2 more days...

Aimee...you swear as much as I used to when I was sheep shearing. Naughty!

Ralph- said...

Kanye, Nice!

Dudes and Dudesettes, i am having a really good day.

Mike Campbell said...

Ralph - you gotta give us more then that. Why is your day so swell?

aimee is lost said...

Yes, Jimmy I was really pushing the explicit tag limit there, wasn't I? I don't have children, so there's really nothing to hold me back when I get verbally amped.

Oh and Jimmy, I truly hope you're mistaken on the momentum thing. I wasn't here in between season 1 and 2, so I can't say positively, but I don't think we're going to blow our loads. We're just quickly building up our pre-season energy, and the writers have never really disappointed.

But you're right; assuming the gentlemen behind the podcast curtains help keep the ball rolling, I think the momentum will ultimately be okay, because whether they turn out good or bad, we'll always have something to talk about.

Ralph- said...

mike, it is something that i have been waiting for, for a long time.

aimee is lost said...

Ralph, did you finally get to do that one thing that you showed me?

Ralph- said...

aimee, probably tonight or tomorrow!

by the way did you guys stick a pin in the leg of the vodoo doll while thinking of me?

cause my leg was in HUGE pain yesterday for no reason, and it is fine today.

aimee is lost said...

Yay Ralph, I'm so excited for you, congrats!!

aimee is lost said...

I don't even know who ended up taking home the mascot. I'm going to assume Craig, but I could be wrong.

...bit like wrigley on Aimee!

Stop acting like you don't enjoy it Ralph.

The curious coincidences of LOST continues to baffle me. Today i found out that John Terry portrayed CIA Agent Felix Leiter in the 1987 Bond film The Living Daylights. As we all know, this week's episode of LOST "A Tale of Two Cities", is a Jack-centric episode guest starring John Terry. The 21 Weeks of 007 film this week happens to be The Living Daylights.

too much voodoo!

Ralph- said...

HERE
is a picture of John Terry from The Living Daylights, looking a lot like a young Matthew Fox.

Great podcast again lads (and lady).
Just got back from my holiday round europe, no better way to settle back into the groove than with some SAS!

My season 3 prediction:
Locke has lost the ability to talk. (hence drawing pictures, and writing stuff on a notepad and showing it to charlie).

Bring on thursday! (i'm a naughty UK downloader).

aimee is lost said...

Ralph, I meant to tell you - I was a total insomniac at Craig's house and ALMOST actually watched the Donald Swayze video he left out for me. I'm sure it would've been better than staring at the ceiling. Well, maybe.

Ralph- said...

the best line from that movie is "Fuck you, food eater!"

were you insomniatic cause there was a ticking clock in the front room?

because i was never able to sleep at people's houses cause of those darn loud clocks in the front room!

Mike Campbell said...

crazy - i enjoyed the sopranos dream scenes. I don't think Locke's will go on for more then 10 minutes at most.

Brief respite from biting my nails in anticipation for the Season 3, i've been reading the current UK version of GQ, their men of the year awards edition. Borat wins Editor's Special Prize Award. There is an interview with the man himself, and it's genius. One of the questions is: You strike me as a man who's comfortable with his body. Do you work out?
(Borat's) reply: Yes, I like very much the shotput. With a 20lb steel ball i can hit a gypsy from 15ft - 25ft if he is chained.

aimee is lost said...

No, there weren't any ticking clocks. There was a humping dog, but no ticking clocks. I really wanna see that video now. Dammit.

I am being such a crab today and it's LOST DAY! I even wore my buttons, but it's not helping my mojo.

My strategy for the rest of the day will be to think positively, which means focusing on the premiere tonight and my SaS and 'Lars gear which should be arriving soon.

Mike Campbell said...

That guy is stupid. I am going to figure out a way to give him bad feedback.

Aimee - I am sorry the happiest day ever, or until feb. when lost comes back, is being ruined by your job. Hope it gets a little better

aimee is lost said...

Thanks Mike; it's just piling on me today. All of my good morning radio shows (which I listen to online) weren't working today either, so I'm just all sorts of cranky today.

I think someone's been using that voodoo doll on my mojo.

We just got an e-mail from the metorology department at my college saying that there is a good chance the college will lose power between 6 till 9. And it takes them like 4 hours to fix it. If i miss lost i am going to kill someone.

aimee is lost said...

I suggest renting a motel room with some friends. There's gotta be a part of town that rents rooms by the hour.

Mike Campbell said...

Aimee thats an amazing idea. Sadly i go to college in the middle of Hicksville Vermont and if one place looses power everything in town will lose it too. :(

aimee is lost said...

Then I suggest you get moving. If you leave now, you can be well out of the blackout zone by the time the show airs.

You shouldn't be taking chances like this by going to school in such a dangerous area. Education isn't that important anyway.

Mike Campbell said...

Your right!!

Speaking of education... They are telling me i am one credit short in math and i will not be able to graduate in December. We have to take 6 credits in math to graduate, So i took one math class and 3 one credit computer classes. Now they are saying that the Microsoft word class i took doesn't count and that i should have taken a class on Microsoft paint. So FUCKEN PAINT might keep me from graduating. Its PAINT thats not even a program.

Sorry for the rant i am just VERY mad.

aimee is lost said...

I'm so sorry Mike, that really sucks! Maybe you can CLEP something, and still make it?

Ralph- said...

paint is the sofware equivelent of diahrea. BOOOOOOoooooo!

aimee is lost said...

But Paint is also the easy way out of having to do something difficult when you don't have a Mac.

Mike Campbell said...

Its almost apon us. but stupid time zones. now i have to stay up to hear what everyone thinks of it

aimee is lost said...

Well you're power's not out yet if you're still online!

Ralph- said...

maybe you can practice MS Paint for reals. paint a television set on your wall and paint in a scene that you think will happen on "Tale of Two Cities" and imagine away!

or, find a place that you can watch it for real. cause that blows. does your building understand how big this show is? cause they should.

aimee is lost said...

You can call me & I'll hold the phone up to the TV, like I had to do last season.

ZeroNine said...

Good to hear Dylan's squid voice again.

Good luck with your poly you dope smokin fiend!

One last thing, I believe you all must have set a Podcast Record for saying the word "Cunt". Kudos on you all especially Aimee. That word usually sets most women into a rage!

Bully to you all!
