We have to go to the liquor store. There's nothing but beer at the grocery store.

Same here Holli, Mass. forces you to buy wine and liquor at liquor stores, beer you can get anywhere...

And I forgot to get liquor, so I hope there's some place open tomorrow. :(

Merry Christmas Blogspot!

I hope everyone was nice and got what they wanted or was a little naughty and got mostly what they wanted. I fall into the latter category. I got the exact things I asked for, but then when the Hubby went rouge for 1 item, well, frankly it sucks. Luckily he doesn't know how to get to this place. Hopefully he'll have done better for my birthday and anniversary both of which occur in the next 20 days.

I also come bearing gifts.

Amazing Gingerbread Houses.

And even better, Aweseome Holiday Cards.

I watched the Rob Zombie version of Halloween II with some friends. It really is appalling.

I live in an even backwards-er state. I had to travel further than usual to buy wine.

Did everyone see what Holli got me? She was my Secret Twitter Santa.

I got Comic Con money from Santa. What did everyone else get?

In St Louis you can get beer or liquor at Target.

Merry Christmas peeps!

Hope everything has been splendid 4 everyone, with or w/out booze :)

Xmas eve was peculiarly devoid of alcohol for me. Mainly because I was up till 5 AM (no type-o) assembling a lego Star Wars Endor set for the Ace. Do not have time 2 go into the reasoning 4 PRE-ASSEMBLING a lego set, but in case u r wondering about the amount of time that took, I enthusiastically invite anyone to take a peek inside the box of one of these sets. I NEVER saw this many pieces under1/4" in length in ANY lego set I has growing up. Incredible.

Amyhoo, it was a good Xmas and I have more brownie points than I know what to do with :)

Oh - and this is being posted from my BlackBerry Storm bitches! Woot!

Do you ever think that people who attend political demonstrations are actually satirists?

Congrats Jon. Must be sweet. Been a long time coming. You going to go to the playoff game?

I myself have forgot that there are people out there still enjoying their football teams. Ugh. Simply, ugh.

Pretty awesome BSG themed song parody done to the tune of Bohemian Rhapsody. Funny and great at the same time. There's even a LOST reference in it!

For the first time in a long time I am considering spending money on the Bengals. They're really going to have to play a lot harder than they did against KC, but a win is a win.

Jordan, that video was great.

Everyone still drunk from egg nog?

i all but one trophy for (ok and the trophy for having all the trophies) for Assassin's Creed 2. but i cant get the trophy cuz you can only do it in one mission. which means i have to replay the game. and you can't skip cut scenes. yeesh.

I just finally watched District 9 and Star Trek. Holy crap, what took me so long? Both were awesome.

mb said...

Right on Jordan - they were indeed! Just got Star Trek on Blu-Ray - must watch. Still have to get D9.

JonFromNKY said...

I finally caught Inglorious Basterds, The Hangover, & District 9 during the off time this week. I liked them all. Have The Goods, and Extract waiting in my queue.

'Sup blogspot?!?

I finally started my S5 rewatch yesterday in the backseat f the car on our way to the beach. I'd forgotten how well Lost blends humor into the show. Miles saying how Juliet is into him, and Hurley's banter with Sayid had me giggling constantly. Charlotte is still blargh-ick. Looking forward more to S6 now. Probably won't rewatch any more this week though. 4 TVs at the condo but neither DVD player is reliable.

I also watched District 9 last week. It took me a while to get into it, but by the end I really enjoyed it. I wish I'd seen it on the big screen now.

Does anyone around here do any of those podcast things anymore?

mb said...

Theoretically ;)

Seriously though Aimee posted on Facebook (I think - or was it My Space) that they recorded another TLI, so I imaging Kim is working on it.

Shut up Jordan, I already told you when I would post the next podcast.
