What It's All About

CONGRATULATIONS to LOST and Michael Emerson for their Emmy nominations. LOST was nominated for Best Drama Series, and Michael Emerson for Supporting Actor in a Drama Series!

This year, Lost won't be up against Grey's Anatomy, because they got totally snubbed. Now they know how it feels. Suck it, doctors!

Wow, I haven't been to the blogspot in ages. My bad. But hey, I posted a new thread, so that's gotta mean something!

I seriously hope Emerson gets the Emmy.

Can you just imagine the acceptance speech?

I'd want him to give the camera one of those "I'm looking deep into the reaches of your soul" looks.

I will be crossing my fingers hard for Emerson. Ben is by far the most memorable character in that category IMO - is there anything else like him on network/cable TV?

Oops - meant to say - 'sup Aimee!!! Nice to see you!

i hope Michael Emerson wins. Unfortunately i think Ben was written better in season 3, but i hope they just recognize how iconic his character is and give it to him.

Hope I'm not stealing Jon in NKY's thunder but he posted this video and it must be shared:

HOLY SHIT!!

welcome back, aimee!! we've missed you.

and, while yer here, can you save the BBS from the ungodly amount of spam it gets?

Oh yeah, we have a BBS. I forgot about that thing! I'll check it out when I get home tonight.

Emerson will be remembered as one of the most memorable villains in TV history.

Who else can you think of that can compete with that character? I'm trying to think of one...

Umm...googling for ideas...

Montgomery Burns? Simon Cowell?

probably attached to The Dark Knight

Holy shit! Thanks palmer!

I had heard that it's going to be in front of The Dark Knight ... don't know if it's gonna be with the IMAX film or not though (I hope).

While I can't say that's the best preview ever made, I gotta say that it looks pretty damn cool. I hope that Snyder doesn't slo-mo every action scene like he did in 300. Or overlay them with techno music. I'm still not sold on Silk Spectre or Ozymandias, but Dr. Manhatten looks great. What they showed of Rorschach's mask flowing looks cool too.

Awesome Andrew. I've been loving the "making of" clips I've seen. The production values look fantastic.

yeah, holli, burn notice tonight. but it's late so i'll have to be polite and wait for tomorrow to watch it with the gal pal. let's hope that there's very little Fiona and maximum Sam Axe.

and throw in some Cylon for good measure.

io9.com has a trailer too.

same one?

memphish said...

Not to dis Christian Bale, but isn't being Batman enough? You have to be John Connor too? Are there any other actors in Hollywood, or is there just Christian Bale?

Palmer, I too am planning to watch Burn Notice tomorrow at earliest. We've got swim meet tonight.

oh. and IE dusnt display the trailer on that link... weird.

Holli, I thought the same thing when I heard Bale was playing John Connor. Isn't he afraid of over-exposure?

Trevor McFur said...

Maybe he wants to play a character that doesn't wear a mask half the time. I have to say that knowing Bale's in it makes me much more likely to see it. When I first heard that they were making ANOTHER Terminator trilogy, my first thought was, "This is gonna be junk, no way I'm going to see it". But I think that Bale usually stars in interesting films, and him being in it definitely makes me think that it might be worth my while.
