It will turn out that Ben was the good guy and that Jack will regret destroying the island (metaphorically, of course) and feel horrible enough to attend Ben's funeral.
I think the writers don't even know who's in the casket at this point. It's left open until they need to make a decision. Or it's something that will never be answered like all those questions we've forgotten about. At this point, I don't care. This point being mid-hiatus slump.
At this point, Lost may never return as we know it. Everyone is saying the strike is for sure to go a few months into the new year. And then once that is settled, the actors are scheduled to strike in the summer. By the time everything has been resolved, odds are Lost will have nothing to do with anything we remembered.
- why go with a mystery body in a box? or a box at all? Try this funeral on for size (this post doubles as my obligatory Steelers reference for the week)
-i'm playing with a theory that there's actually nobody in the coffin. The funeral is a formality in the cover-up of Oceanic 815. The funeral is for somebody that stayed behind on the island or went back. All of the losties know it's a fake funeral, thus 'why would i go to his funeral?' and the empty parlor. Right now i think it may be Michael, because he wants to stay with Walt who is almost a part of the island now. I think a lot of the flashforwards may be dedicated to misdirection.
i know whos in the coffin its john locke i think is because remember the news article it a name on it John Latham ok we fond out john's mom name was Emily Locke and she game john up and that he was adopted. do kids keep there parents last name if there adopted? and he called have use he's other parents last name. Tell what you think?

From before:
George H.W. Bush Rocks or George W. Bush Rocks? cuz that could affect resale value...
Both! Gotta catch 'em all.
Also, First? Crikey.
I think Ben is in the casket....

I believe it'll be Season Four if the studio doesn't get their head out of their respected asses. Respectively.
i'm boring and think that it'll just be Michael.
but maybe it'll be some rando we've never heard of.
or maybe it'll be... DR. EYELINER?!
I actually think it'll be Locke. That's my theory. Sticking to it.

hmmm...
i think that they know who's in the casket. could that change over the years while we wait for the reveal? sure.
i'm really hoping that this stupid strike blows over soon. give the writers their extra four cents and give me my TV.
while we wait for our TV to run out, take a look at what would've happened if 24 had premiered in 1994?
not sure why that sentence ended with a question mark.
/"i'm ron burgundy?"
I can't find an image. I did find out that OU is the biggest selling casket but UA is the second largest. Something to be proud of?
Gorgeous coffins

andrew, cause of death? too many John Mellencamp and Peyton Manning commercials.
on the topic of collectible George Bush Rocks, the elder George Bush has some serious stones. skydiving for his 83rd birthday.
and he's friends with Chuck Norris.
Happily Birthdate MB!
happy birthday, mb!
by the time we get to your next birthday, the writer's strike will be drawing to a close.

Michael, has to be. Only Jack could feel sorry for that loser.
