Well, this was nice to wake up to............. at 1pm. Oops.
This episode is set on Day 97. Christmas eve, on island, was supposed to be on Day 94, this tells us that The Shape Of Things To Come was on December 27th. So it's not January yet on the Island.

I think in Ben's secret, secret room there is a dial (like your thermostate at home) on this dial are the numbers, 1 to 11 for the amount of smokie you want wandering around the Jungle. Normaly Skokie's at 5 or 6 But then Ben got mad:( So he went and turned Smokie up to..11..At 11 Smokie is BIG, very BIG Like you aint got a chance in hell of surviving, BIG. You know, so BIG that the trees the losties normaly hide in,I just don't think would help? So like on the first day on the Island Smokie is back to 11 remember the trees from episode 1? hmm Maybe he's now at 15 the frickin ground shook!
The karaoke is so bad it's good.
I sure hope that Ben set Smokie on a Timer! cause that thing does not need to be roaming through the jungle set to 11.

but seriously, anyone remotely interested in UCB, child casting agents, racist magicians, or laughing, type human giant in on youtube. you will not be disappointed!
i saw aziz live at the ucb theater in new york, and it was fucking awesome. i had been a fan for a while, and i got to see early screenings of the first episode. it was totally tight. and his stand up was awesome.
and the arrested development themed karaoke was totally bitchin'...and a little bit homo-erotic.

I'm fully raiding Ralph's comic book store on FCBD! So hard. I will indeed do a solo karaoke. This was a bonus for the anniversary, and I recognize that it doesn't release me from my obligation. Be warned though, I'll probably not be any better than this one, and you all know how good this one was.

Lost talk - my favourite theories stolen from Lostpedia:
- Widmore and Richard were crew on Black Rock, and having spent so many years on the Island they never aged, but Widmore decided to leave the Island.
- Ben can’t kill Widmore because they are each other's 'constant'.
Ben, we'll look forward to the solo karaoke (solaraoke?) . The kid is counting the days until FCBD. We racked up last year because of course most of the people there weren't interested in The Archies. They gave us every free all age book they had.

so, we know the oceanic 6 are getting off the island this season. but, we don't know that dan, charlette, and miles are. i predict that once the six get on the freighter, the not pennies boaters will double-cross miles, charlette, and dan, and leave them on the island. this will accomplish giving them more time to do their research this season, and give them a motive for revenge against widemore, and, most importantly, a reason for them to survive to next season, which is good, because dan and miles are good characters, and charlette is...well...charlette

- one of the worst shows ever, "Lil Bush" had a bunch of Lost references this week including a surprise cameo at the very end (which i'm tempted to spoil to spare somebody from sitting through that shitty show, but I don't want to ruin the only worthwhile part. a true conundrum)
- i think i just saw Rebecca Gayheart as a video hoochie in Heavy D's video for "Nothing But Love" from 1994. That was weird & random.

* it does seem like the helicopter party was a seperate group from the rest of the freighties, and i fully expect those that survive this season to get folded into our Losties roster. But, at various times this season, they've all demonstrated a willingness to engage in some gun pointing and subterfuge. As retiscent as Daniel seems, he also seems to be fully aware of the plan to kill the Losties.
