...and it's a good one!
Libsyn, I declare a bounty on your head.
I've got my torch and pitchfork ready!
Sun & Jin died for this?!?
Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our podcast dead.
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage;
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;
Let pry through the portage of the head
Like the brass cannon; let the brow o'erwhelm it
As fearfully as doth a galled rock
O'erhang and jutty his confounded base,
Swill'd with the wild and wasteful ocean.
Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit
To his full height. On, on, you noblest blogspotters.
Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof!
Fathers that, like so many Alexanders,
Have in these parts from morn till even fought
And sheathed their swords for lack of argument:
Dishonour not your mothers; now attest
That those whom you call'd fathers did beget you.
Be copy now to men of grosser blood,
And teach them how to war. And you, good yeoman,
Whose limbs were made in this blogspot, show us here
The mettle of your pasture; let us swear
That you are worth your breeding; which I doubt not;
For there is none of you so mean and base,
That hath not noble lustre in your eyes.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Kim, Aimee, and TLI!'
I would love to get a direct DL through dropbox.com You can share it with me @bill.mcgehee@gmail.com
Im excited to hear what you ladies have to say about this sode!
Dammit. This was a good one.
can...not...wait...any...longer...
oh, libsyn. you suck.
looking forward to some TLI. everyone going LOST crazy as we approach the series finale?
i'm behind on every LOST podcast besides TLI. uh... ok, haven't listened to MB but i will once the season is over.
I went Lostcrazy some time ago. But my condition has significantly worsened in the past several weeks.
good point. but, holy fuckitron jones, it's really getting near the end. which is depressing and satisfying at the same time... twss?
anyhow, whats up with Miles, Ben, and Alpert? they're kind of failures. "we're off to get some grenades to blow up the plane." meanwhile, our heroes have already met up with Locke, hung out, escaped, found a boat, been captured, escaped, defused a bomb in the plane, stolen a sub, been blown up, and washed ashore.
meanwhile Miles, Ben, and Alpert are all "i SWEAR i left the grenades right here. keep looking!"
I think they're going to pull an Ilana and show up in the nick of time to save some folks, like the Temple massacre scene.
Or just be forgotten and sink with the island.
can Alt-Miles listen to the dead? can Alt-Hurley talk to the dead?
will Miles find a grenade and put it in his mouth like old times?
That's a good question. Maybe being born on the island makes you gifted. Of course Charlotte was born there and her only gift was being ugly and annoying, so I guess it's hit-or-miss.
Leave Charlotte alone...
I always liked Charlotte.
But then again, she does look like a massive faghag, so that's probably why...
just ate a beef enchilada MRE i was randomly gifted the other day. it was at once repulsive and delicious. like the Chef Boyardee of the enchilada world.
think Hurls and Miles will start showing super powers in Alt-World or no? i'm guessing not. but that'd be interesting.
we're kind of running out of time here. think we'll get any more on the "no babies allowed" policy on Jizz Island? was it something Kim bribed the writers into doing? or was it just Jacob's way of getting Juliet (the fertility expert) to the Island? and will they ever talk about it again?
Is it up yet?
Nah. I just checked.
WTF look who's stepping on my game now: Jimmy Kimmel.
"RT:jimmykimmel:Sold-out post-Lost finale show 5/23. The best Lost-themed haiku gets 2 show tix. 3 winners, followers only. Deadline 5/19/2010. Namaste."
Alright, first I'm taking out libsyn then Kimmel is going down.
or you could just enter the contest.
travel not included.
besides why would I want to go to LA
when I'm so much closer to the GSPN lost finale party here...
(throws up in mouth)
No TLI makes me a sad panda.
The baby issue has to be a dead issue. I think the only reason they kept bringing it up in the show for so long (through the end of Season 4) was to create drama around Jin needing to get Sun off the island.
I think I'm most excited to see what Darlton has in store for Ben, Alpert and Miles. My guess is at least 2 of those 3 will wind up dead, though. Them breaking off from the rest of the group just gave me a bad vibe.
What if (in an feat of incredible irony) BEN somehow becomes the new Jacob? I know it's not gonna happen, but that would be fucking awesome!
On a completely unrelated note, last night's episode of Breaking Bad may have been one of the finest hours of TV I've seen in awhile. Just awesome!

Totally missed oppurtunity.
That's what she said.
Oh my Gawd. Gus. Cramazeballs. Best show on television. Period.
Yes, "Breaking Bad" is kicking ass.
I agree about the whole Jizz Island thing too...they put so much into it that I thought it might be a true plot point in the story...it's gone the way of Walt! And the fake beards!
I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for some more fake beards!
Ok...since no TLI 6x14 yet, let's do a contest...
Q: What song is the opening song for this week's episode?
Hint, I didn't use My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion (that was used later on)
Yellow Submarine?
listening to an old episode of the Dharmalars. for season three's "i do." ben and ralph are talking about firefly fans: "if there are any browncoats out there, send us death threats."
ah, fantastic.
hey! if ben and ralph- are coming back with a finale prediction show and then a post-finale show... wouldn't that be... NEXT WEEKISH?!!?
Palmer, no--not that song
Yay Dharmalars. Now if we could only get the original Scott and Steve to do one final podcast too *fingers crossed*
Death Cab's I'll follow you into the dark
Lexi - no, but a good choice
- Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight?
- i recently found out that the Lostcasts podcast has been doing episodes for this whole season. they were one of my early favorites because they were pretty thorough and pointed out lots of the easter eggs.
- the official lost podcast was pretty definitive in summarizing what went down on the sub. those with crackpot theories about who did or didn't survive may be disappointed.
- yeah, Breaking Bad is great. also really enjoying Parks And Recreations. and not V.
that mushy song at the end of robin hood?
woop woop!
