I actually purchased Arrested Development Season 3 last night. I never got the chance to watch it when it aired. I watched a few episodes last night, and I couldn't stop busting out laughing.
I'd like to see The Sopranos win; it probably will, too, they like give the Emmy to retiring shows, I think. Otherwise, as much as I like Locke and Ben, I'd like to see Hiro win Best Supporting Actor.
trevor, hiro is the man but Best Supporting Actor? maybe favorite supporting actor cuz he's so much fun, but is it harder to act a character like Hiro or Ben? or Locke?
i guess i don't know cuz i can't act worth a hill of beans. but i'd imagine that its harder to be Ben or Locke.
I'd agree that Locke and Benry are more challenging roles; I'm more saying who I'd enjoy seeing win. Probably if I actually had a vote, I'd pick Michael Emerson. All this probably means is that it'll be William Statner or the dude from Gray's Anatomy that wins instead.
My cartoon version is just as much a lech as I ever was.
T McF: Sparkle sparkle. A hilarious moment from a classic episode...from the ninth season! So long ago, but so long into the run. Also, it reminds me of "Smashy smashy!"
Ralph: That Ash Wiggum avatar is the bee's breasts!
As Lost fans, we need to remember that over the past year it's become somewhat hip to say "Lost has 'lost' it". The general consensus of people who don't watch the show is that it has totally gone to crap. Serious. Just about every non-Lost podcast I know of, whenever it comes up, people take pot shots. So if the general public is thinking this, I wouldn't expect much different from the Emmy academy.
Now I'm a big Sopranos fan and didn't hate the finale like most people. But 15 nominations? What is the deal with getting mushy with Emmys when a show goes off the air. Like when Everybody Loves Raymond finished and won just about every award. Lame.
Here is my quick thumbs up and thumbs downs for some of the noms. Actually lets make that robot lubricant and thumbs up your butt.
Robot lube: - Heroes - The Office - 30 Rock - Masi Oka - Micheal Emerson - Rainn Wilson - Terry O'Quinn - Mary-Louise Parker - Jaime Pressly - Jenna Fischer - The Colbert Report
Thumbs up your butt: - Grey’s Anatomy - Boston Legal - Entourage - Tony Shalhoub (not that he sucks, but enough already!) - The Starter Wife - Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List
that show's still on?!?! isn't it like the same thing every episode? oh well, it doesn't matter if still on or not, but neither him nor his show need to be taking up useful space on the emmy ballots.
I too watch Monk. I don't know how I got started, and really it's more of a show for my grandparents or something, but I watch and enjoye it like crazy. It's funny if you don't analyze it too closely. If you do, you realize it's a show about a man with several crippling neuroses and people that die every damn week.
I also love Psych. You guys should seriously give Psych a try, because it's fun as all get out. So, now that The Chin is on USA, I have four whole shows I watch on that network.
kim, i'm pretty sure that Monk is filmed in Canada. be true to your country.
Monk episodes all involve A) a crime and B) Tony Shalhoub having OCD. but they pull out a lot of interesting ways to off someone and have a lot of guest stars clamoring to be on the show. they've had Samwise Gamgee, Willy Nelson, Jan from the Office, Robocop, and Sarah Silverman. it's good mindless fun.
by the way, kim, how's Smallville? ;)
aimee, right on about ms. pressley. she's fantastic as Joy. i really wouldn't have believed that she could do such a good job based on the other stuff she's been involved. what has she done? poison ivy 2, mortal kombat: conquest, joe dirt, and dead or alive: doa. but she's really great in Earl.
I know a lot of people like it. But I can't stand Entourage. It's just so obnoxious. Everytime I watch it I'm bored/want to an Entourage themed version of Grand Theft Auto. Jeremy Piven is the only thing about that show that IMO isn't totally lame. I dunno. I just don't enjoy watching it. I seem to be in the minority.
Aimee and are Palmer are totally right about Jaime Pressly. She is awesome on My Name is Earl. The show is ok and I still like it, but it's not one of my favs. Jaime Pressly, as Aimee said, steals every scene she's in. She is just so good in that role.
kim, don't congratulate me yet. didn't you ask us if you should watch Smallville? and didn't i sort of say that maybe you should? which would make it partially my fault...
how far along in it are you?
aimee, i haven't read anything about Bruce being there but you never know. show up! find out. and if you're visiting MB later this year, i think Bruce lives in Oregon...
good call on Mary-Louise Parker. Weeds should be starting soon and I can't wait.
These Emmy awards seem to go for flavour of the month (Grey's), but can redeem themselves by giving Heroes, The Office, Michael Emerson and MLParker the nod.
Wait - no Patricia Arquette? Ok, I'm with you MB :)
Kim, I want you to put down that crappy Smallville and catch up on Weeds. I think you'd like it. And there's only been two seasons and 22 episodes, so it would be easy to get caught up before season 3 starts in mid August. In fact, I recommend it to anybody else on the blogspot. Seems as if most of you have good taste.
Jeremy Piven is my reason to watch Entourage, too. Everything is else is just, eh. I've watched the first season of Weeds and I liked it ok. I'm still debating whether or not to watch the second season. I think I will give it a try. I'll have to line that up behind Arrested Development and The 4400. Anyone else got any other suggestions on what else I should catch up on? TV-wise.
Must quadruple the props to Jaime Pressly - she has become the person I laugh at most on that show. Good Stuff.
re: Bruce - yeah, I think he has a ranch down south (near Medford?), but I am not sure. I have a friend near there who shot a PSA with him and said he is just the coolest guy (he doesn't know him - just hired him for the PSA the one time).
The Emmy noms are technically supposed to be based upon a single submitted episode. Heroes still has a lot of good buzz, so I don't think the weak finale will affect it's chances (umm, unless that's the ep they submitted!). I'd still put my money on Sopranos. I think Jordan's right, the perceieved negative buzz about Lost could have hurt it, even if they did submit Through the Looking Glass, imo one of the best episodes of a TV show ever aired.
Have a great weekend all ... the wife and I are off to New York tonight to celebrate me turning into a cranky old man.
you're right, kim. lois lane seems kinda out of place on smallville, like they brought her on a little too soon, cause she's not really doing anything.
Am I the only one who is reading the blog and imagining us all speaking our words, animated as our Simpson likenesses? Reading the blog is now like watching some crazy-ass episode of the show that we're all a part of.
I might get booed for saying this, and let me preface my remark my saying I love the show but I don't thing Heroes is that great production-wise to deserve awards and such. The acting is not as good as Lost. Jordan, you know my ocd/hippie friend who cleans my house occasionally? She looks and acts alot like Mary-Loiuse Parker. I agree with all on Jaime Pressly. And I have loved Jeremy Piven ever since this.
Palmer - Holy Crap on a Stick...hmmm...I think I've seen that that at the county fair. Next to some-kind-of-grease-on-a-bun-that's gonna-make-me-sorry-i-ate-it. :0
J.P. - I have not played it but am curious since I play actual guitar (not particularly well)
Now THERE's a cartoon somewhat lost to time... I know they had a go with the webisodes, but it just wasn't the same. Also, it's probably even less well known over here than, say, Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Hachi Machi says I regarding the fox on the Dharmalars' myspace. I think I may have just messed myself. Who prey tell be this foxy mamma? Is that Ralph or Ben's wife?
jack of all trades with the Chin and Jango Fett's woman? yes, i've seen it. it's got the "i kick arse for the lord!" guy from Brain Dead/Dead Alive in it. and it had some great oneliners.
two women wake up in bed with France's most famous emperor (played by Verne Troyer) and the one says to him "oh, napoleon! you truly are a bonaparte!!"
as for the young lady on the dharmlars myspace page, i believe the lecherous internet fan catchphrase regarding her will have to be "i'd join her lost book club!"
Who was it that suggested The Smodcast? Was it Trev? I meant to remark on it. I really want to be a Kevin Smith fan. I like him. I like hearing him speak. But I don't like his movies. I want to. I've tried. I really have. Clerk and Clerks 2- I just don't get it. Chasing Amy- wasn't that about the lesbian? I watched it. I guess it was ok. Jersey Girl- I loved!! I have listened to the Smodcast. It was enjoyable. I suppose you have to be a Kevin Smith fan to really love it. He does make good points, like why do we make a big deal when people graduate high school when everyone will unless they're retarded. We should have big parties when children are born. Except if you're Kimberley, I guess.:)
Man, I am NEVER home anymore, so I miss all the best back and forth conversations... ah, sad... :(
"Smodcast" is sooo great! I'm a big Kevin Smith fan (although not so much "Jersey Girl."), and he and Scott Mosier have great conversations about everything...
Soooo glad that Michael and Terry got nomiated and "Through the Looking Glass" got best writing and directing nods. Awesome. And if Charlie Sheen or "Two and a half 'watching a rock slowly fall from a tree is better than this' Men" wins anything, I'm gonna puke. No lie. And anyone looking for a really good quirky comedy series should check out "Wonderfalls." Sooo good.
Brooklyn, I really enjoyed Wonderfalls when it was on. I was sad to see it cancelled so early. I was hoping it would stick around--but it didn't. (Also it was shot on the awesome side of Niagara Falls...that would be the Canadian side)
SModcast, my 2nd favourite podcast behind the Dharmalars. Kevin Smith is my hero, and if you can stand the potty mouth--check it out.
Also to our Brits...does/did anyone watch the sketch comedy show "Swingers". I was flipping the channels and stumbled across is tonight and it was very funny!
It's next week, Brennan. I started to say Woderfalls had a tie-in with our favorite show but I looked it up even though it's 5:30 in the morning and I can't see yet. Woderfalls was crated by a Heroes guy, Bryan Fuller and written sometimes by Tim Minear. Have a nice day, blogsotters.
I think Swingers was one of the sitcoms on "Five" over here, and I don't believe I ever gave it a chance - same with "Spoons" on the same channel.
We don't do graduation here. You go to school. You carry on doing it for a few years. Everyone leaves. That's it. When you whittle it down to that basic premise, you are being honoured simply for living in a universe where there is also linear time. (I'm not knocking graduation ceremonies - it was Kevin Smith who did that, remember, not me.)
Same wih birthdays. I like getting the occasional gift - but frankly, if people think my existence is worth celebrating, shouldn't my parents have got the gifts?
tobz- I'm not sure if you were joking, but if you weren't then I must say that there is no need on this board for comments about incorrect grammar usage. It would be sad if you didn't get the reference to Alice in Wonderland.
torrential rain today - it's supposed to be summer in Albion. the cricket is washed out, the by-election results didn't go my way and no charges are to be brought in the loans-for-peerages scandal.
I'm staying strong though - gonna get my suit on, get my beer on ;)
Mr Chesterfield T. Longfellow Expose: In regards to that being my wife? I WISH! That's Aimee, half of the Lost Initiative podcast, and nobody to trifle with.
Name day? Is there a St. Benjamin who has a name day I can cash in on?
I really enjoyed the Critic, and I still reference it from time to time. Most notably some clip that had Clint Eastwood and a monkey and features Clint saying, "Oh, a beautiful woman. I better keep my eyes closed."
- i watched Wonderfalls on DVD last year. it was okay. i found the lead actress kind of grating though. it did feature Jewel Staite (AKA Kaylee on Firefly) who is a hottie. i also liked the subplot with the brother.
- Is that Adewele in the original post. He looks weird.
- i'm really looking forward to Danny Boyle's sci-fi pic "Sunshine" coming out today. I've avoided knowing anything about it other than the title and the fact that it's a sci-fi film because Boyle has a well-proven track record with me.
"The tyrant ordered that reeds should be thrust in between his nails and his flesh and into all the tenderest parts of his body and then withdrawn. After this torture had been repeated several times, a knotted stake was inserted into his bowels to rend and tear him. The martyr expired in the most terrible agony about the year 424."
sorry to hear that the wireless isn't working out so well for you. is it just the PS3 that has the issues? maybe the next firmware update will address it?
Yeah, Ralph, it's a rare instance of me quoting the Critic. I myself thought it was a Simpsons bit for a long time until I figured it out. Similarly, I think that Dharma and Greg bit with the couch is from Family Guy.
St. Benjamin, eh? Not bad. I guess next March 31st you all need to be giving me presents and stuff. And, um, not torturing me to death. If that's cool.
That sports highlight guy video is a couple years old, but it's just as hilarious to this day. The play by play guy for the Sonics used to say "Boom goes the dynamite" as a sort of homage to that kid. The kid was a guest on Letterman shortly after the video got all over the internet. Because Letterman is an alum of Ball State, the school that the video was for. My personal favorites are when he says, "Passes it to the man", "Reggie Miller's looking good", among others.
Palmer, I think I've settled on just keeping the PS3 wired as it just plain runs faster. My only issue now is with the media streaming. For some reason my PS3 is able to detect the WMP server, but shows no files. Not sure if it's a router setting issue or what.
back to to the picture for this thread, shouldn't michelle rodriguez be a babe? do i not think so because of Ana Lucia being a beeyotch? or because michelle rodriguez is such a freakin' weirdo? or is she just not attractive? it looks like she has all the right parts. right?
And P, To answer your question. It's probably because she acts totally like a dude. And I don't mean she's a tom boy. Tom boy's can be attractive. But MR totally is a dude trapped in the body of an attractive woman. That could be what keeps her from seeming attractive.

Hey...unfortunately for those guys...they aren't winning the emmy for best drama this year. They weren't even nominated.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19845343/
first and second by the way...haha
What? How could season 3 NOT be nominated?
I didn’t get a golden ticket, but I got some ‘Lars!
I don’t think Ben is creepy
at least Michael Emerson and Terry O'Quinn got nominated. But other than that, terrible decision. Boston Legal? Who watches that show!?!
aimee, you look dharmalicious. now, we need Dharmalars shirts for our Simpson pictures.
steph, olivia munn will be at ComicCon. *drool*
Those were by far the two strongest actors in the season, so yes, that is a decent consolation.
But to say that Lost Season 3 wasn't better than a lot of other shows this year is just retarded.
Of those 5 I would like to see House winning it, and if that wouldn't win I would want Heroes to win
yeah, give it to House. speaking of House, anyone read the casting spoilers for next season? blech!
I don't regularly watch House, but when I do watch it, I always enjoy it. I'm a much bigger fan of Heroes, so I'd definitely prefer to see that one win.
I heart Peter Petrelli.
aimee, have you pre-ordered your Heroes Season 1 DVDs?
If Heroes season ended stronger I would want it to win, but sadly it wasn't. On the other hand House in my view has been strong all season.
Planned purchasing of dvd tv shows:
House Season 3
The Office Season 3
Heroes Season 1
Lost Season 3
i've gotta pick up season one thru three of arrested development.
oh. and heroes is $39.99 at amazon. anyone found it cheaper?
that sucks that the show didn't get nominated. i think i'm gonna go for heroes for the win.
No, I really wasn't planning on getting them. I might later on, but I'm not like, waiting for them to come out the way I do for Lost.
belated KABLAMO for #16.
I actually purchased Arrested Development Season 3 last night. I never got the chance to watch it when it aired. I watched a few episodes last night, and I couldn't stop busting out laughing.
jonjon, it's fantastic. arresteddevelopment.msn.com has a crapload of episodes. thanks to steph for the link!
no Heroes DVDs, aimee?! well, i guess you'll have new episodes of Peter Petrelli sooner than you'll have new episodes of LOST.
Naked Desmond Costume update!
Best quote from that article:
"Nudity does rub some people the wrong way."
well palmer at least I can still breast feed in public in Vermont!
KABLAMO #23
aimee, i liked that quote too.
ah, vermont what a weird ass place you are. no wonder Killington wants to secede.
quiet time at the blog spot
You can always pick a fight with Palmer.
"let's fight!"
"them there's fightin' words!!!"
/one of 400 simpsons episodes
boobies.
;)
Aimee: Ahem. HACHI MACHI!
Ben, your Simpsons avatar matches that line so naturally! Like I could totally picture that cartoon guy saying that, lol.
Nice earring Ben. Sparkle sparkle!
I'd like to see The Sopranos win; it probably will, too, they like give the Emmy to retiring shows, I think. Otherwise, as much as I like Locke and Ben, I'd like to see Hiro win Best Supporting Actor.
PENIS

i guess i don't know cuz i can't act worth a hill of beans. but i'd imagine that its harder to be Ben or Locke.
oh, and ladies, i present: more baby animals!!
This Avatar---->
is something that i always wanted to create. Thanks to Trevor for reminding me that Ralph Wiggum is dressed like Ash!
I AM happy about O'Quinn and especially Emerson though
(or for Who 'Utopia' fans:
Chan - I am happy about O'Quinn and especially Emerson - Tho)
the set up...........!
ok. i will do it.
KABLAMO!
you ran that kablamo down like a little deadite bitch.
triple boobies!

Here is my quick thumbs up and thumbs downs for some of the noms. Actually lets make that robot lubricant and thumbs up your butt.
Robot lube:
- Heroes
- The Office
- 30 Rock
- Masi Oka
- Micheal Emerson
- Rainn Wilson
- Terry O'Quinn
- Mary-Louise Parker
- Jaime Pressly
- Jenna Fischer
- The Colbert Report
Thumbs up your butt:
- Grey’s Anatomy
- Boston Legal
- Entourage
- Tony Shalhoub (not that he sucks, but enough already!)
- The Starter Wife
- Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List
I agree with your picks, Jordan. If I had to choose b/w Locke and Benry, I'll choose Benry as the winner.
Who the eff watches Monk?
kim, i do. so there! it's been getting progressively goofier but it's still amusing.
still, i don't think the guy deserves to win EVERY year.
that show's still on?!?! isn't it like the same thing every episode? oh well, it doesn't matter if still on or not, but neither him nor his show need to be taking up useful space on the emmy ballots.
P, you really watch Monk? I can honestly say I've never known anyone that watches that show.
206, what's wrong with Entourage? Kathy Griffin--OMG!
I really thought LOST would have been nominated for best series. Boston Legal?? I get a headache watching it, the camera work is all over the place.
Jamie Pressly sooo deserves it; she really steals the scenes on Earl.
i didn't even realize he'd put entourage on the bad list. i like entourage! it's the most mindless half hour of television ever! :)
I too watch Monk. I don't know how I got started, and really it's more of a show for my grandparents or something, but I watch and enjoye it like crazy. It's funny if you don't analyze it too closely. If you do, you realize it's a show about a man with several crippling neuroses and people that die every damn week.

ben, right on about Psych. and you caught the PalmerEldritch reference. you are the man.
ralph, bring Chins to Comic-Con so i can get a picture with it.
Touché, Palmer. Touché.
Is Bruce Campbell going to be there this year?
I know a lot of people like it. But I can't stand Entourage. It's just so obnoxious. Everytime I watch it I'm bored/want to an Entourage themed version of Grand Theft Auto. Here are my picks for the major categories:
Drama series: Heroes
Comedy series: The Office
Actor, Drama Series: James Gandolfini - The Sopranos
Actress, Drama Series: Edie Falco - The Sopranos (not much to pick from)
Supporting Actor, Drama Series: Michael Emerson - LOST
Supporting Actress, Drama Series: Katherine Heigl (for being hot, not that stupid show)
Actor, Comedy Series: Ricky Gervais - Extras
Actress, Comedy Series: Mary-Louise Parker - Weeds
Supporting Actor, Comedy Series: Rainn Wilson - The Office
Supporting Actress, Comedy Series: Jaime Pressly - My Name is Earl
good call on Mary-Louise Parker. Weeds should be starting soon and I can't wait.
These Emmy awards seem to go for flavour of the month (Grey's), but can redeem themselves by giving Heroes, The Office, Michael Emerson and MLParker the nod.

ally, i really liked Extras. and The Office (UK) was great too.
Palmer, i definitly will. Who gets the book next?
i'm begining to feel dirty...
I'm cursing myself for not having taken a photo with Chins.
kablamo!!!
and a repost of bruce campbell singing
thanks, p. i'll add extras to my list. i saw the first season of the office (uk), i'll continue to watch with season 2.
there are some christmas specials too, ally.
I'm on Season 4 of Smallville, Lois Lane has ruined the series for me.
Jordan, I have Weeds to watch at home...but I haven't got around to it just yet. I'm saving it for another hiatus.
I'm so happy to see Pam & Dwight nominated; however, I don't think Heroes will win for best series because of the weak finale...but what do I know??

*crickets*
LOL, just kiddin' MB ;)
lmao - (sigh) overactive-imagination...table for 1...
funny, mb. but yeah sometimes it looks like we're actually saying that, i mean our cartoon versions.
it didn't seem like that at all, MB. until you mentioned it. and now i can't stop reading the entries as if they were in cartoon voices. yeesh!
BOO, Steph!
j/k. i just had to do it cause you warned us. but yeah, i agree, although a good show, not as good as lost.
Doesn't everybody have a friend like that? You know. Someone who is impulsive, fun, and borderline clinically insane?
Palmer, You need to subscibe to the G4 In Your Pants podcast. Every time I hear Olivia Munn talk about what she likes sexually, I think of you.
Anybody here understand the sensation that is Guitar Hero? What is so great about that game?
holy crap on a stick!
Badassery incarnate King Leonidas is the ultra-effeminate the Phantom of the Opera. yeesh...
at least this movie is in glorious HD...
j.p. starship, i'll assume the J stands for Jefferson.
no idea about Guitar Hero. it's pretty freakish to watch people who are really into it play.
steph, i'll have to resubscribe to "In Your Pants."
Palmer -

ELVIS REESES PEANUT BUTTER CUPS WITH BANANA CREME!
WHERE!?
in ralph's stomach.
i'll have to remember to go to the drug store. to buy some crack. but also those peanut butter cups with extra banana creme in them.
mmmmm...
...i mean about the crack
Aimee: Ahem. HACHI MACHI!
IT STINKS!
Now THERE's a cartoon somewhat lost to time... I know they had a go with the webisodes, but it just wasn't the same. Also, it's probably even less well known over here than, say, Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Marty: I think it's yoooou, Daaaad...
Jay: Kum-ba-YAAAAAAAAAAARGH!
"Hava nagila, baby."
The Critic was pretty damned funny.
No Saanks...
Dat's not Koshaa
Actually the one that sticks with me better than my bad attempt at a phonetic Arnie back there is Shatner talking to the Rosie Perez robot:
"Don't.... bogart that juice, Rosie"
Hachi Machi says I regarding the fox on the Dharmalars' myspace. I think I may have just messed myself. Who prey tell be this foxy mamma? Is that Ralph or Ben's wife?
And before I looked... I knew which picture I would encounter.
i'll hop in line for the chins book
and i like entourage, its a nice set up to the far supior half hour of flight of the conchords
For Cereal, who's wife is that. My John Thomas would like to salute her. BTW, has anybody seen Jack of All Trades. Stand up right on that one.
Nice picture, Aimee. Very nice.
jack of all trades with the Chin and Jango Fett's woman? yes, i've seen it. it's got the "i kick arse for the lord!" guy from Brain Dead/Dead Alive in it. and it had some great oneliners.
two women wake up in bed with France's most famous emperor (played by Verne Troyer) and the one says to him "oh, napoleon! you truly are a bonaparte!!"
as for the young lady on the dharmlars myspace page, i believe the lecherous internet fan catchphrase regarding her will have to be "i'd join her lost book club!"
Lot 105
Oh, no - I used a WrongName™
Now nobody will ever believe I didn't do it to aid the inevitable setup...
you mean THIS inevitable setup?
KABLAMO!
And with that - it's CLEARLY bed time. near 3:30am!
No lie. And anyone looking for a really good quirky comedy series should check out "Wonderfalls." Sooo good.
i love smodcast as well
Brooklyn, I really enjoyed Wonderfalls when it was on.
Does anyone know if any info about last night comic con Lost panel are posted anywhere on the net?
It's next week, Brennan.
I started to say Woderfalls had a tie-in with our favorite show but I looked it up even though it's 5:30 in the morning and I can't see yet. Woderfalls was crated by a Heroes guy, Bryan Fuller and written sometimes by Tim Minear.
Have a nice day, blogsotters.
It wasn't crated but created.
I like getting the occasional gift - but frankly, if people think my existence is worth celebrating, shouldn't my parents have got the gifts?
from Popbitch:
>> Famous aliases <<
Hotel names of the stars
When the Killers checked into the Hilton at Copenhagen Airport earlier this month they booked into Executive Kingsize Rooms under these names:
Gunner Lovejoy
Will Ryker
Jellyrole Morton
Bat Masterson
(Still doesn't beat our favourite hotel alias ever - Elton John's attempt to check-in to a US
hotel as Fanny Beaver Snatchclit).

it's my nameday today which I celebrate by getting presents from people and going out drinking.
got some shirts and I'm going to Jermyn St for a linen suit this afternoon because I don't like sports coats or blazers.
enjoy the weekend everybody.
tobz, is he swimming in his jeans again?!
have fun, elias.
did we give people shit for graduation parties and then encourage elias to have fun partying on his name day? heheheheheh. sweet!
I wish Americans celebrated Name Day, or Un-Birthdays.
Oh yeah, hey everyone guess what?!? It's my Un-Birthday today!
"I wish Americans celebrated Name Day, or Un-Birthdays."
Me fail english, that's unpossible ;)
July 20th is the Name Day of Saint Elias. w00t!
tobz-
I'm not sure if you were joking, but if you weren't then I must say that there is no need on this board for comments about incorrect grammar usage. It would be sad if you didn't get the reference to Alice in Wonderland.
yeah Palmer - not a saints day but a prophet's day, much cooler. Elijah was a badass mofo.
The Greek half of my family don't call on my birthday, they call today instead. when will they learn I want gifts today and in May?
ELIJAH THE THUNDERER!
that's a cool nickname.
torrential rain today - it's supposed to be summer in Albion. the cricket is washed out, the by-election results didn't go my way and no charges are to be brought in the loans-for-peerages scandal.
I'm staying strong though - gonna get my suit on, get my beer on ;)
i tried to play cricket once. ends up, you need more than three people.
Oh, Elias - you're Ealing Southall aren't you?
Guessing you didn't vote Labour.
Weather's cleared up a lot now.
I married both Bens (Linus & Johnson) in games of M/B/K once.
holy shit! Ben i always assumed that was a simpson's reference. i have been quoting you quoting that, using a homer voice.
i guess i need to do it in a CLINT (squinty squinty) voice!
aimee, i remembered who you "K"ed.
Quit crying Ralph, you still got b'ed by Kim. Would it make you feel better if I k'ed Jimmy and b'ed you too?
By the way, 12 HOURS UNTIL HARRY POTTER!
St. Benjamin - March 31
St Benjamin
"The tyrant ordered that reeds should be thrust in between his nails and his flesh and into all the tenderest parts of his body and then withdrawn. After this torture had been repeated several times, a knotted stake was inserted into his bowels to rend and tear him. The martyr expired in the most terrible agony about the year 424."
aimee, unless you're doing something wrong, most people would feel better if you banged them.
anonymous, thanks for the info on st. ben. nice to know that Ben's saint was sodomized to death. a goal to aim for, Mr. Johnson.
That's quite a history to live up to there, Benjamin.
what about Saint Huck?
/nick cave and the bad seeds
The Critic: Stick it in your queue?
The scene you mention is from the lesser known Clint sequel "Every Which Way But Lucid"
CLINT: Oh, someone's kissing me - it must be a beautiful woman...
(*kiss*)
Now, I'll make sweet love to you, keeping my eyes shut the entire time
CLYDE THE ORANGUTAN: (ape noises)
CLINT: CLYYYDE!
Can we make suggestion for the 'Lars to Stick In "Stick in Your Queue"?
A little youtube fun for everybody:
One of my favorite bits from The Critic.
I can't link to that last clip without also posting this gem.
Where do I sign up for Sean Connery "How to treat a lady" classes?
Simply classic.
holy crap, jordan. awesome.
"boom goes the dynamite!"
sorry to hear that the wireless isn't working out so well for you. is it just the PS3 that has the issues? maybe the next firmware update will address it?
Jordan, that last video was just so sad
Poor kid :(
Kim, you know anyone that has choked that bad at your work?
Yeah, Ralph, it's a rare instance of me quoting the Critic. I myself thought it was a Simpsons bit for a long time until I figured it out. Similarly, I think that Dharma and Greg bit with the couch is from Family Guy.
St. Benjamin, eh? Not bad. I guess next March 31st you all need to be giving me presents and stuff. And, um, not torturing me to death. If that's cool.
Jon, besides me?
No.
kim, if that ever happens to you, just throw in a nice, smooth "boom goes the dynamite!" and all is forgiven.
seriously, that sucks that you've choked up on the air. i know i'd completely blank if someone threw a microphone in front of me.
Not sure if it's a router setting issue or what.
did you add the music and video to your "library" in WMP11?
yep. I actually had it working for a bit. but for whatever reason it now says no files.
back to to the picture for this thread, shouldn't michelle rodriguez be a babe? do i not think so because of Ana Lucia being a beeyotch? or because michelle rodriguez is such a freakin' weirdo? or is she just not attractive? it looks like she has all the right parts. right?
Back to that picture. Why the heck is Michelle Rodriguez in a dress? Why isn't Matthew Fox in a tux then?
And P, To answer your question. It's probably because she acts totally like a dude. And I don't mean she's a tom boy. Tom boy's can be attractive. But MR totally is a dude trapped in the body of an attractive woman. That could be what keeps her from seeming attractive.
JonJon
I was joking, I'm sorry you didn't get the ralph wiggum reference ;)
