cleavagemania! geez louise. is it cool to post spoilers yet? if not, i'll keep my next two comments as generic as possible but you MAY want to skip them just in case.
aimee, good call about the last five minutes or so.
from now on, i'll just trust kim when she has a hunch.
I'm using my mad scientist laugh on all you guys. Juliet is the ultimate mad scientist. Claire was the control. Bitch! I guess Sun is next and the theories about mating Sawyer and Kate look more plausible now too. Gross.
I'm stating for the record that as of right now I'm switching sides--I'm trading Jater for Skater. My Jack hate from last week has been upped exponentially this week. He is such a bad judge of character and he never learns! Dr. Stupid Coconut Head!
What do you mean Earhart? My husband has been wondering since 3.1 if the old lady at the book club named Amelia is Amelia Earhart. We haven't seen a Fred yet though. Fred Noonan was her navigator, though an inveterate boozer who probably would have died by now.
Son of a bitch, that bug-eyed bastard! That was great. Anyone else have to break out the kleenex? Awe. The way Sawyer held Kate's head. Hurley being the diplomat. Juliet seeing her name-sake. Awe. And a freakin' awesome ending. That bitch. Here I was trusting her because Jack trusted her. I was so fooled.
well, how's he supposed to think straight with his brain full of delicious coconut flavoring?
besides, kate (aka His Woman) just done him wrong. and there's a new pair of breasts on the Island and her name's juliet. jack's got a fever and the only prescription is rebound sex.
Or was he talking about Herarat Aviation as in Her-A-Rat! I noticed that right away and took it as confirmation that I was right about that lying bitch.
Guys, don't blame Jack. He's been without sex for close to 90 days, and I doubt there's been much privacy for him to....you know....the thing guys do with themselves. He's a little confused and just needs some release.
Holli, don't be a fairweather shipper. Jack's just hit a rough patch.
The aviation company near the beginning of the episode is an anagram of Earhart. Earhart disappeared in the Pacific Ocean, just like the headline read on the Sept. 22, 2004 newsclip.
God that was awesome. I knew Ben put her there for a reason, and that they were gonna have some kinda plan for getting the losties to trust her, but damn, didn't see that comin. Ben is a freakin genius. He's so elaborate and detailed in the planning of his "cons." Puts even the great Sawyer to shame. So how much of what juliet says about them is to be trusted? Really liked the way she put Sayid and Sawyer in their place too. She's got skills.
Good catch on the headline. The dates and times are messing with me now. I need Aimee to get on Lostpedia and figure them out. Did the media find out the plane was missing as soon as the radio went out? How long does it take to get from the Barracks to the Flame? Why would that be in the Miami paper already? How do you reconcile the date on the paper in Expose?
Head spinning.
And yes Colin, I'm jumping ship, at least for now. I was considering it before tonight because Sawyer's been so sweet lately and Jack's been an ass. Poor Jack's going to be burned by another lady. He's the cheese. And the cheese stands alone.
i'm so confused. i was so happy that we had a logical reason for Claire's abduction. It felt like some of the big Lost picture was coming into focus. I guess most of that could still be true but 'triggered the implant?' huh? good episode. i think. so confused.
Craig, good catch. I didn't even think of that. Scot, I agree with you, for the most part, but I really don't see the reason why Ben put her there. What is she trying to accomplish?
I really enjoyed this episode. We had to put up with a lot of shit this season, and the last few episodes have been great, and the next couple of eps look great.
I started to think this is getting really sappy (Juliet's flashbacks), but the ending (as much as I loved seeing that she's a rat) felt out of place. What is her motive for helping Ben? I'm sure he promised her ANOTHER way to get off The Island, but the entire episode felt like she despised Ben. Why would she willing to help Ben??? (Unless she's really playing him and is One Of Us)
She's a cut-throat researcher who's able to do the impossible in Miami, but not replicate it in this "special" place that she sells out really quickly to get to. Then she can't leave and seems upset about it, but she agrees to all of Ben's evil schemes.
I think at this point Juliet's in the Losties camp doing Ben's bidding, but looking for any opportunity to overthrow Ben and achieve her ultimate goal of leaving. She's adaptable. After the sub blows up she goes with Ben's plan hoping it will allow her to develop one of her own.
She did say that she was on her own. Also, Ben took her to the flame station in order to restore her "faith" in him. So, as far as he knows, she believes in him again. Doesn't Ben have a real complex about people thinking he's a liar?
they triggered AN IMPLANT?!?! they put a disease bomb inside of a pregnant woman? If the writers ever try to make us sympathetic for BenCo again, i'm calling shenanigans.
At the 6 month mark when the female Other dies and Juliet is sitting out on the rocks Ben invokes "Jacob" and Juliet looks awestruck. I wonder if Juliet has met Jacob or only heard about him?
Sorry Goofball, I couldn't resist and wanted to beat Palmer.
I agree that Jack was over the top in his trusting of her. Have he and Locke devised a plan? You go with Ben; I'll watch Juliet. How weird would that be.
Jack's plans are always just so bad and only manage to see about 1/2 a move ahead.
wow. juliet is hot. that seen where she's naked in bed with goodwin. man. i'd prolly fall for her lies too if i was jack. but i'd find a way to get her in the end. jack'll prolly just help her like he did kate. he's pussy whupped without the pussy. can you say pussy in here?
well, we have to decide whether Juliette has decided to go along with Ben's plan. She could just be defiant. Even if she did not do what ben said, she would have still wanted to save Claire, who is totally going to die next week, i feel it. lets just hope that jack sings Catch a Falling Star to her.
First off. To the Juliet hater triumvirate that is Aimee, Kim, and Holli....Not so fast my dears.
I said it last week and I am saying it again. If it's ridiculously obvious, I ain't buying it. The fact that they already have let onto Juliet being a plant is a bit much for me. Honestly, I thought the episode was going to end with Juliet saving the day and everbody being happy. I was prepared to come on here and say that something is up. BUT, the fact that the show went ahead and told us that we should have no choice but to think Jules is a baddy says a lot to me. First off, what in this episode from her flashback made her out to be bad in the least? Not one single thing? Everything she did was with good intent. Be it for her sister or for Ben's health, in the flashbacks she was always a conscionable character. Maybe I'm just being stubborn, but to me the entire backflash did nothing but set up very good reasoning for Juliet to be resentful towards Ben and the others. Like others have mentioned above, we could be in for a double double cross. That may be the case. But here's the question I raise. Say Juliet is a good person and isn't as evil as the ladies of the blogspot are hoping. What exactly do you expect her to do in her situation when Ben tells her that he wants her to be a plant on the beach? Obviously he is attempting to manipulate her by doing what he has admitted as doing best, using one's emotions against them. Even if she is able to see through him, what is she going to do? How on earth could she stand up to him and say no? What could she possibly do in this situation on her own? She almost has no choice. And if he's dangling her being able to leave the island and reunite with her sister, yeah, maybe she might just be willing to go along with his scheme. But does that honestly make her a bad person, somebody who warrants the utter despise of our lady blogspotters? Hmmmmmm. Like I said earlier. For me this is too obvious. "Oh, Juliet is a badddy. Oh no!" I'm not buying it. At least I'm not taking it as obvious and as at face value as that closing sequence would have you believe. But then again, maybe, just maybe this is a double con on the writers part and she really is that bad and that all the flashbacks are the con on us the viewers. Something to think about.
.................................. ........(long sigh)........... .................................. ................................... .....damn, jules - i just feel used
WOW! Great episode. So Aimee, I'm totally on your side about Danielle being a liar. I was sticking up for her for the longest time. But if pregnant women can't give birth on the island without medical miracles (even if conceived off-island), how did Danielle have Alex? She's a liar!!!
Dudes, it totally sucks having finished the episode and everybody else being 3 hours already over it. Argh. MB, Jimmy, Ralph, Ben. Where my dogs at? lol.
Trying to think back to the ep a bit. That Kate-Sawyer reuniting was something, eh? I am so hating Sun. What a bitch. For some reason I don't think that what she told Juliet was what Jin really said. I like how they somewhat explained how they got all the info on the passengers. At least when they got it and by what channels. I liked the fact that Ben had to warn Mikael not to shoot him. Man, this ep sure did hint at a lot of answers, but not enough to satisfy. What was up with Juliet and Goodwin? And grrrr to naked back Julie. Nice. What exactly is her and Ben's relationship then? Did it predate her and Goodwin doing the nasty? She did say that was 3 years into her stay on the island. If so, what a ho bag. There ladies, there's your reason to hate her. ha! Ok, what is the symbolism with Juliet and her hair? Sometimes it's straight, other times it's curly. It seems to be a difference to me to not have some significance. Nothing that stands out though. I do think that what Juliet told the 815ers about the reason for abducting Claire was the truth. It seems to me that the others aren't exactly about lying. But they are extremely devious with their truths. Something that stood out to me, Ben when he got really upset at Juliet calling him a liar. Can't remember the exact words, but I got the feeling that he really does value his word. And if that's the case, maybe everything that he has said that we believe to be lies are really truths in ways that we have yet to try to understand. I dunno. Just the way that scene came off to me. How cute was that Jack-Sawyer hug? So what's their name? Is it Jawyer or Sack? All in all, great episode. Holy crap. With my last two posts I think I have gone past my blogspot quota. Sorry guys.
Last thoughts b4 my eyes forcibly close for the night:
I agree with the assertions that we cannot be sure how this is going to shake out with Juliet on the beach. It sure looks straightforward, and I'm really trying to figure Ben's plan, but I also agree that it seems natural that she would go along with Ben's plan, since her primary desire, as far as we can see, is to get off the island. Alternatively it is not clear at this point whether Ben would ever make that happen, perhaps she has a better chance by using the Losties to defeat Ben at some point, but right now her best bet to achieve her goal is to stick with Ben. I imagine she can completely trust no one - so who knows which way she'll go.
RE: Claire's implant - so, they had to have put it in way back when she was with Ethan in the Med Hatch right? So, does that mean her escape was allowed? And Alex helped her escape because Ben told her to? Or, more in Ben's style, maybe Ben "allowed" Alex to help Claire (letting Alex think that she's truly breaking her out), to try and put Ethan's mistake of kidnapping to good use - i.e. Ben did not want to deal with Ethan's mistake by taking Claire in as another Other, but thought an implant that could be activated later could be useful in the future (seems batshit - but were talking about Ben). This way he had some power over the losties camp which could be used as a bargaining chip at a later date in some way (or maybe he had an idea all along of what kind of scenario would shake down - I have no idea).
The above idea also further calls Danielle's motives into question - was it completely happenstance that she came across Claire? At this point, I almost wouldn't discount the idea that Ben somehow got Danielle to come to that spot - maybe even with the false promise of seeing Alex that night. More and more I'm thinking that, while it seems obvious that Danielle has not seen Alex until "Par Avion", it is very possible that Ben (or one of the company) has contacted her in the last 16 years.
Just wanted to tell people, if they hadn't heard Kurt Vonnegut died. The world has lost one of the best writters it has known. If you hadn't read something by him do yourself a favor and read a book by him.
The only book of his I ever read was Slaughterhouse Five. Pretty good. Very different and quite interesting.
Here's my current stance on Juliet. I think that she is going along with Ben. As I said above, what other choice did she have? It's pretty clear she wants off the island. Now that leads to the question, who does she think is her best bet to get her off the island, the others or the losties? This ep showed us that she has a lot of reasons to not trust Ben ever letting her go. But maybe she believes him this time. Here's the thing though. Regardless of which way she's leaning (which I'm not so sure she even knows right now. I get the vibe she's playing it all by ear.), she had to go along with the Claire implant/hidden medicine trick. Either she did it to help the con or she did it to truly save Claire. Nothing from this ep really leads us either way. So I guess I'll continue to give her the benefit of the doubt and the ladies will keep calling for her head. That's it, I gotta sleep.
One other thing. Alex helped Claire escape and it was Alex's voice on the intercom that led Jack to the screens showing the bear cages post-Skex. Was Claire's escape orchestrated by Ben via Alex?
sometimes, LOST is pretty obvious. with Ben, we found a guy in a net and one of the characters said "This is an Other. He's a jerk and you shouldn't trust him." Lo, and behold! He is an Other. He is a jerk and you shouldn't trust him.
other times, LOST is highly convoluted. hmm...
either way, whether Juliet is working for Ben or against him, two things jump out at me: 1) juliet is looking out for juliet and 2) ben has contingencies in place no matter what juliet does.
sun is a beeyotch. she cheated on and lied to Jin. but i can't blame her for being a jerk to sawyer. c'mon, the dude's generally been a bad egg. steals all the stuff, arranges to make her think that the Others tried to abduct her, steals all the guns, calls them all names... he's funny to us cuz we're not living on the beach with him. that said, i enjoy watching Sawyer being a jerk more than him being nice and getting people aspirin.
by the way, my cat just jumped on the laptop and typed "aaAAW." she must be talking about the Reunion Scene on the beach and all the hugging.
by the way, i'm glad that Ben wasn't schtuping Juliet. that guy's just weird looking. nice to know that AnaLucia killed Juliet's horizontal mambo partner. i guess Jack should write a thank you letter to Ana's ghost.
by the way, is Jack conning Juliet? does he know she's working for Ben? or is he just desperate for a piece of ass?
Post-sleep where I did not dream of LOST, I am cutting Dr. Stupid Coconut Head a little slack. I'm now thinking that his new friend Tom has given him something of a head's up at least on the way Ben operates. The scene between Jack and Kate in the beginning where Jack says he kept his head low, didn't ask questions, etc. and how overly trusting he's being of Juliet back on the beach and not wanting to upset her apple cart, I think he knows or at least suspects something. But as with most Jack plans, he's probably only one step ahead whereas Juliet is probably about 3 ahead and Ben about 12.
My favorite was how Sawyer hugged Kate. That my friends is how you want to be hugged when you've been missing for a week. And then Juliet ruins it. Bitch.
My favourite part was where Jules was sitting in the bed with her back bared to the camera. Some things are best left to the imagination, and that scene fuckin' did it for me, baby!
I have an idea about why Juliet was sent back to the beach. So far none of the Fusie Losties except Claire and Walt have been taken by the Others. Ethan didn't finish his list according to Tom and Ben couldn't make one either because he was locked up in the Hatch the entire time he was in their camp. Juliet is there to evaluate test subjects for her project. Ben tells her in the scene in his kitchen that she can't leave until she completes her project. That's why she's there. Ben's given her a week to identify the "good" people at the beach.
Morgan, it might have to do with how long the mother is on the island before they're affected by the antifertile bits. I don't know. Rousseau still smells bad. Real bad.
Speaking of bad, don't ever go against a female's intuition - especially three of them like Kim, Holli and myself. You listening, Jordan?
To be fair though, Juliet has one motive as Jack very eloquently put it: to get off the fucking island. Juliet is acting as a double agent, until she can figure out which team will be the one that gets her off the island. Simple as that.
IN YOUR FACE JATERS! How awesome was that Skater moment? I have to admit, I was waiting for a hollywood kiss that never came. I suppose that would've been a little over the top. Sigh.
oooooooh... aimee's back to showcasing the fabulous hair.
ok, so, we'll try not to ever doubt Kim, Aimee, and Holli again. but Juliet was mudwrestling for our amusement last week. we were momentarily blinded by her jiggling flesh. can you blame us?
Palmer, you are right. It really is slutty hypocrite island. But Jack is being a moronic judge of character simply because he can't get no booty. With everything that's happened in the last three months there, he should know better than to believe he can trust anybody, regardless of circumstances.
Maybe chicks that conceive off-island are okay, and chicks that conceive on-island can't go full-term or something. That might explain why Claire and Rousseau were able to give birth, but no one else has been able to. Then the question will end up being when did Sun get jizzed up.
so, is this the first time that any of our favorite castaways's have heard that Sawyer popped a cap in that shrimp seller in Australia? think Sayid gives a crap that he just learned that Sawyer is a cold blooded killer? maybe he's just like "oh. hey, we have something in common. cool."
I find it interesting that the Others would even have the ability to know something like that.
Considering that NOBODY was even present at the murder scene with the exception of Sawyer and Frank Duckett, the victim, there is apparently some kind of hypernatural force at work, i.e. some sort of all-knowing object or being that is beyond the realm of acceptable reality.
who knows what's been going on in the real world in the meantime. maybe the T-1000 told the cops about James Ford once they came sniffing around Duckett's body?
The T-1000 was destroyed in the foundry like 16 years ago, dummy. The Terminatrix chick licked Frank Duckett's blood and analyzed that Sawyer shot him. Duh.
Maybe Claire Danes will parachute to the island and she and Juliet can have a pursed-lips-off.
Holli- i like your deduction that Juliet is trying to finish her work so that she can get off the island. The writers shouldn't be allowed to lie to us in flashbacks, only leave things out. I think this also shows that Juliet's plea for Jack to kill Ben was genuine.
-i don't think the sub can actually get you to and from the island. Juliet went under in a lounge (of a fake airport?) and woke up strapped into the docked sub. But atleast Alpert & Ethan would have to know the real mechanism of travel.
-The implant thing and the injection being the antidote has me again toying with the idea that Charlie has been compromised. He brought Claire the injections "from the palate drop" which she happily dosed up with. I think that happened around last year's finale so that's too long ago for them to have "triggered the implant" but could have been used to delay a problem.
-Where is Cindy!?!?
-*Next On Lost* -a big part of me doesn't want to deal with the Penny stuff next week. I feel like i have a lot on my plate already.
That next on Lost promo happened so fast, and the Requiem music was so awesomely distracting because it's one of my all-time favorite score remixes that I really have to go watch it again in slow motion.
Yeah, I'm with ya Aimee. The Requem music is bad ass. It can make anything seem dramatic. Question for Ralph or any of the score experts out there. Was Requiem for a Dream the original movie to use that score? Because I've heard it a bunch since then in other things. I wonder if it will actually be used in the show or if that was just for the promo?
Aimee, for as much as I was giving you girls a hard time last night. I have to agree with most of what you have all said this morning. I think we are all mostly on the same page as to what is going on with Juliet. The only difference is I'm not desperately wanting her to be evil cuz I hate her so much. lol.
Speaking of hating so much. I am fucking hating Sun right now. She's always such a bitch. She even bitchy to Jin a good deal. And like Aimee touched on in TLI last week (after the failed Sun for island captain idea), she just shot and killed a woman! I dunno. She has surpassed Charlie as most annoying on the island for me.
Palmer, just wanted to comment on something you said earlier.
sometimes, LOST is pretty obvious. with Ben, we found a guy in a net and one of the characters said "This is an Other. He's a jerk and you shouldn't trust him." Lo, and behold! He is an Other. He is a jerk and you shouldn't trust him.
Ya, But it wasn't that up front and obvious. There was a good deal of doubt at the time as to if he was or wasn't "one of them." Yes, in the end Sayid's suspicions proved true. But shortly after they captured him we weren't shown a flashback showing him as an other and hatching his plan. That's the difference here. To me if Juliet being a plant was the big deal and big "gotcha!" they would have played it out the way they did with Henry Gale, er Ben. Regardless what is actually happening, it's great. Because it's pretty gripping as a story and you really don't know exactly where it's going.
Mansell's score for π was followed up by his score for Aronofsky's next film, Requiem for a Dream, and the score became a cult hit. The trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers contained a reworked version of the track "Lux Aeterna," utilizing a full orchestra and choir. The piece, named "Requiem for a Tower", was made just for the trailer. The orchestration was arranged by Simone Benyacar, Dan Nielsen, and Veigar Margeirsson.
"Lux Aeterna" has since become extremely popular, with both the original and the orchestration having appeared in a wide variety of commercials and trailers, including trailers for the films Zathura, The Da Vinci Code and Sunshine.
I wanted it so badly I didn't bother to add ! or fix the fact that I capitalized the O in my name.
Now I'll try to add something useful. I guess we'd better hope that Sawyer did use the Dharmalar approved banana leaf protection or she's on the short list to die. If pregnancy leads to death why haven't we seen any Dharma or Mittelos Birth Control? We need a Juliet's bathroom FB.
Mike, thanks for the Vonnegut thing last night. I read Slaughterhouse 5 recently and picked up Cat's Cradle to start when I finish Catch 22.
You're totally right Holli! Sun better watch out too! Maybe this is the reason things have been playing out as "Slut Bag Island" of late. Watch as Sun, Kate, Claire, and a bunch of the log carrying women all get preggers and get all sick. It might just force a 815ers/others eventual truce of necessity. Yowzah!
Do you think they inserted triggerable chips in Jack, Kate and Sawyer like they did Claire? We saw the little band-aids and I was assuming they took blood, but maybe they've tagged them like a microchip in a dog.
Well, I'm finally posting... This BLOG spot is awesome (and it smells quite nice). I found it by way of "The Lost Initiative" podcast, which is also awesome. And speaking of awesome...Lost. Boo-Ya. Last nights ep was great, and I friggin' knew it! Juliet sucks. Yo, yo.
aimee, i have that mp3 bookmarked. nice to know that whenever you're in texas, a ranger is constantly stalking you. just waiting for an excuse to round house kick your face into oblivion. thanks, justice!
Kim, I agree that the scene where Juliet puts Sayid and Sawyer in their places was awesome.
Real quick, here is how I see it in terms of the outta control who really loves who crap. Ladies, help me out if I'm off with any of this. Jack seems into Juliet, Kate seems to be still into Jack, and Sawyer seems to be really into Kate. With the possible exception of Jack & Juliet (I really don't know what she's thinking right now), it seems that everybody is smitten with somebody who's digging on somebody else at the moment.
ancillary pairings include Claire who's mildly into Charlie and Charlie who's really digging Claire. but then there's Turnip-Head who is the constant cock-block.
also, Rose and Bernard haven't been seen lately because they are constantly off in the woods getting it on. mr. gorpley is a friggin' machine.
I got it in the mail yesterday & I'm about half done with it already, so I'll ship it off to Holli probably on Monday. If Brooklyn really does want to read it (I was only jokingly suggesting - I have no idea if he has any interest in Bruce Campbell), then he can have next dibs.
Just call Juliet Justin Timberlake, because she's bringing sexy back.
Also, she was balling Goodwin. Anyone want to talk about that? AL killed her man, and then Michael killed AL, while acting for the Others. I'm pretty sure it's a coincidence, since what we saw in 3 Minutes made me think Mike came up with the particulars of the plan all by himself, but you never know.
The trigram on the sub is apparently associated with water, and North, and Luna. Does one sub with one trigram indicate there were seven other subs?
it's a good read, everybody. bruce's other book isn't quite a biography like "If Chins Could Kill" but sort of a fake autobiography about events that never happened. still, they're both interesting. additionally, everyone should check out Bubba Ho-Tep sometime.
Jordan, I still don't really like Kate right now, but since I dislike Juliet more, I'm willing to put that aside for the moment. She has legitimate feelings for both men - together they make the perfect man.
Kate is on the same level with Sawyer, and Jack seems to be far too fucking snooty. He always thinks he knows whats best for her, and can't seem to understand that she can hold her own. Sawyer didn't try to stop her from going into the jungle, he knows she's a big girl that can take care of herself. So I think, or at least HOPE, she will finally turn her back on Jack the way he's turned his back on her multiple times.
Could Juliet know about Sawyer killing the dude in Australia because Smokey was the stupid boar he tracked and it scanned him and reported back to the Others? The whispers were in that episode saying "It'll come back around" just like Duckett (not the real Sawyer) said when James (not the real Sawyer) Ford shot him.
But I don't think Smokey actually "works with" the others. They must have just found out that he killed the guy in Australia from their "File-o-Matic" that Patchy was working on.
But the Australian police didn't know that Sawyer shot Duckett. He was kicked out for fighting with some guy with a really long title (and therefore I'm betting little dick).
Hmmm...Well, maybe Smokey IS Jacob, and he's still looking for a body after not sucessfully getting one at Hogwarts oh so many years ago, and...yeah, I got nothing.
I think the files the Others get are not limited to news stories and police reports. I bet their outside agents go so far as to interview, interrogate, or shadow known associates of the 815'ers.
i don't think that its unreasonable that the prime suspect in the killing of that shrimp vendor was the T-1000 guy in America as they have some sort of history (gambling debts or something?) then T-1000 could've just said "woah. wait up. james ford shot the guy. look at the flight tickets and hotel reservations."
all our LOSTies have a crapload of people willing to rat them out to the authorities and the Mittelos Bioscience investigators.
Yeah, T-1000 might have snitched by now. The police might have come knocking at his door, and he gave up James Ford. Good point. I still like the terminatrix theory, especially considering Michelle Rodriguez was in Sydney at the same time.
The Others have had 3 months in which they could have learned of Sawyer's crime. In that time, the police could have pieced together what happened, or they could have hired a private investigator to trace Sawyer's movements. It probably wouldn't be that hard to figure out what happened.
If the T-1000 gave up info, I'll be upset. I always trusted that bastard. And Mr. Norris, if you really are out there, then know there's no disrespect here. Only love and admiration for you and your Karate Commandos. And your Mustache. Or moustache if you wanna be fancy.
I'm going on record as saying Jin is not the father and neither is Jae. Sun was artificially inseminated by an unknown donor which ends up being Jacob or Ben. Therefore, conceiving pre island makes her safe. I wish I could say the same for Kate.
Holy crap what a blogslposion (not that I'm real suprised) - I'm predicting at least 2 more threads b4 dharmalars. Lots to talk about.
Steph - I like the idea, definitely possible. RE: Sun - I guess I'm just not in the biatch camp re: her. She did cheat on Jin (and has done her share of lying like most of our losties), and while that IS a bad thing, I can't say I blame her for having issues with Jin. He may have been trapped in a horrible situation working for Mr. Paik but the bottom line is that he was not a real pleasant person during that time. And as far as shooting Colleen, I'm sorry, but the way the Others behave - tough shit! Can't say I wouldn't do the same thing.
RE: Claire's implant - I had never thought about Andrew's earlier idea that Charlie could have been compromised. She either got the implant at the Med Hatch or from the injections charlie brought.
Hey, everyone, I am new to this blog and got here because I have become a huge fan of Kim and Aimee's Podcast. I have a few comments. Why does everyone seem to dislike Jack soooooo much. He has always looked out for everyone and showed incredible nobility in getting Kate and Sawyer freed even after Kate broke his heart. I am a Jater and am mystified by anyone who would like to see conning, STD carrying, generally rude Sawyer end up with Kate. Maybe you guys just hate Kate? Also, do you really think Sawyer could takes the role as 'leader' upon his "broad, Aaron width shoulders?" :) Every show like this needs a hero and I think it is Jack, even if he makes a few mistakes in judgement, at least we know his heart is in the right place.
My crackpot theory is that Adam and Eve are Jack and Kate. Hey, it could happen. :) Maybe he hasn't changed his jeans and still carries around those black and white stones from season 1.
By way of introduction, I have 3 "must see" shows: Lost, The Office, and Scrubs. Sarah Chalke is too fine. Anyway, hello everyone and thanks to Kim and Aimee for recommending this blog. I love it!!
I'm a little confused with the "Timed Implant" in Claire. When was this administered, and why? Did they think there might be need for this plan of attack?
Jack was both cool and a dick. A dick with all this "She's under my protection"...it just seemed like really bad acting. Cool the way he hugged Sawyer...looked like a guy who was pretty much resigned to what happened. In fact the whole Sawyer/Kate/Jack return was well done (imho).
I liked the closing sequence...well done. Elizabeth Mitchell has a very expressive face, without having to do much.
We learned a lot, and have a lot more questions, but the questions don't seem to be so "vague" as usual.
On another note...I am starting to lean towards a BBS for this blog. Hmmm....
MB...I'm with you with the Sun hate. If sleeping with some other dude after years of being in a tough, loveless marriage is enough to put you in the leper camp, well I think that's a bit harsh. And I would have gunned down Colleen, totally.
I think many of our Lostaways have done a hell of a lot worse shit? Each to their own opinion though.
i would hate to see Hurley turn bad in a flashback. we have seen some of his darker side, but i wouldn't want to see him go totally dark.
i really think that juliette is going to turn her back on ben. she new that claire was going to get sick, she wasnt going to just let her die. i feel that she will become an ally.
there was 2 times that she cried in her flashback. she really wants off, and i think that she realizes that Ben allowed Locke to blow up the sub and that Jack and the gang may be her best bet to getting her off the island.
Jimmy, I'm with you on wondering about when the implant was put in - but I had an idea earlier in the blog:
"RE: Claire's implant - so, they had to have put it in way back when she was with Ethan in the Med Hatch right? So, does that mean her escape was allowed? And Alex helped her escape because Ben told her to? Or, more in Ben's style, maybe Ben "allowed" Alex to help Claire (letting Alex think that she's truly breaking her out), to try and put Ethan's mistake of kidnapping to good use - i.e. Ben did not want to deal with Ethan's mistake by taking Claire in as another Other, but thought an implant that could be activated later could be useful in the future (seems batshit - but were talking about Ben). This way he had some power over the losties camp which could be used as a bargaining chip at a later date in some way (or maybe he had an idea all along of what kind of scenario would shake down - I have no idea)"
Andrew also brought up the idea that perhaps Charlie's been compromised and when he brought the injections for Claire "from the Palatte drop", the implant was in one of the injections.
Don't lump me into the Sun hate camp either. I think it's funny how she keeps giving Sawyer the evil eye and her translation for Juliet last night was . . . priceless.
I wouldn't be surprised to learn Juliet speaks Korean though, so she'd better watch out.
Before Sun shot Colleen, Colleen made this whole "if you shoot me, we'll be your enemies" speech. Any ideas on how that's playing out? It's not like they were friends beforehand.
Welcome Robert. As for the Jack stuff, he's just being such a jerk with the "under my protection" "just trust me" stuff.
And as for Jack and Kate, he had 70 days to tell her "Hey, I'm into you," but for the most part everytime he had a chance to make a move he'd put something or someone else ahead of her. Sure he said he wasn't sorry she kissed him, but did he follow-up on it? No, he got all Michael distracted and practically threw Kate into Sawyer's arms when Libby died. His lack of Island action is his own fault.
Holli The former Jater now Skater who reserves the right to revert to a Jater at a date future (that's lawyer speak)
Thanks for the welcome, Jimmy. Is is kosher to blast other Podcasts on this blog? My typing fingers are itching to make some comments as I have heard just about all that are out there.
Holli - re: Colleen's 'speech' - yeah, boy that pissed me off. It astounds me that these people truly seem to think that it is unreasonable for the 815ers to be seeking answers and defending themselves. Ben asks Jack for 'patience' after abducting them and locking them up, Goodwin tells Ana Lucia she's a bad person for defending the Tailies, Colleen claims it's Sun's fault if they become enemies...the list of ridiculous claims goes on. I'm very interested to see where this incredible amount of arrogance comes from.
As a Jater, I'm clinging to Lindeloff's 'Sawyer won the battle, but Jack may win the war' comment. If she and Sawyer 'bump uglies' again as it appears in the promo, I will just have to learn to dislike Kate.
Palmer - That's exactly what I'm wondering. Does this all just stem from a religious-like arrogance or will it turn out to be some motive that most of us could actually sympathize with?
I'm having difficulty believing they are writing Jack as a complete dumbass. Also, they made a point at the end sequence of saying "Jack believes in you"...and a shot of him giving a knowing nod in her direction. This seems to me like Jack is playing the whole thing too.
I read some Matthew Fox quote somewhere recently that said Jack's more than just a doctor hero; it would be boring to play just that or some such actor BS. Guess that's why they've added the dumbass aspect. Hope he's enjoying stretching himself.
jack gets the upper hand, is about to do something against ben, then ben reveals something earth-shattering that blows jack's mind, and then KABLAMO! season ends and we have to wait umpteen months for new episodes.
Back to the question of the Others superiority complex. I read this last week about the phrase "hearts and minds."
The key of Peter Davis's documentary is that hearts and minds can't be changed if the people looking for change refuse to recognize the others as fully human.
I think the Others (and Ben in particular) refuse to recognize any person they have not hand chosen as fully human. I'm also leaning more and more toward Ben being Jacob, the ultimate arbiter of the human-ness for this group of people. To me it would explain why you'd omit Jack because Jack was needed to fix a weakness, Ben's tumor, and Jacob won't admit to weaknesses.
They also remind me of the callousness of Thomas Mittlewerk from The Lost Experience when he discusses the test subjects and the death rates of the Spider Protocol in the Sri Lanka Video. The ends justify the means. People as test subjects. Blah, blah, blah.
I know that as a newbie to this blog, just about anything I mention has probably been beaten to death, but, it's a free country so suck it up and read it anyway. :) Where is the dental hatch where Charlie got his veneers done or the 'Visible Changes' hatch for the bad haircuts and streak jobs?
My pet peeve on TV shows and James Bond movies is how fast orally consumed sedative/hypnotics work on these people. Juliet was out in seconds, faster than IV administration would accomplish. Boooo....

just a normal looking dude.
Just finished watching the episode. All I can say is WOW.
Envious of Chan. 15 minutes to go here.
Holli
i still have 3 hours punks.
Too bad Ralph cause there are lots of boobs.
Holli
cleavagemania!
geez louise. is it cool to post spoilers yet? if not, i'll keep my next two comments as generic as possible but you MAY want to skip them just in case.
aimee, good call about the last five minutes or so.
from now on, i'll just trust kim when she has a hunch.
yup...
I told you all she may be hot, but she is evil! Trust the girl hate!
Holli
Damn it. I am pissed aobut that. At least they cleared it up though, for once and for all.
She's still hot, though. Why exactly does Ben want her to do it, though? What is he objective?
Maybe she's a double double. Aww why Juliet WHY!
FUCKIN WOW! pretty good episode eh? so much to digest. i'm speechless. must. watch. again. now!
Earhart?
I'm using my mad scientist laugh on all you guys. Juliet is the ultimate mad scientist. Claire was the control. Bitch! I guess Sun is next and the theories about mating Sawyer and Kate look more plausible now too. Gross.
I'm stating for the record that as of right now I'm switching sides--I'm trading Jater for Skater. My Jack hate from last week has been upped exponentially this week. He is such a bad judge of character and he never learns! Dr. Stupid Coconut Head!
Holli
What do you mean Earhart? My husband has been wondering since 3.1 if the old lady at the book club named Amelia is Amelia Earhart. We haven't seen a Fred yet though. Fred Noonan was her navigator, though an inveterate boozer who probably would have died by now.
Holli
Rebound sex. He hasn't had any sex since skanky Bai Ling and he couldn't do that right either.
Holli
Did Craig mean Earnhardt? As in Jr?
Or was he talking about Herarat Aviation as in Her-A-Rat! I noticed that right away and took it as confirmation that I was right about that lying bitch.
Holli
I wish I were as observant as you guys. Good night. Ambien kicking in. Yawn.
Holli
i'm so confused.
i was so happy that we had a logical reason for Claire's abduction. It felt like some of the big Lost picture was coming into focus. I guess most of that could still be true but 'triggered the implant?' huh?
good episode. i think. so confused.
andrew.
Craig, good catch. I didn't even think of that. Scot, I agree with you, for the most part, but I really don't see the reason why Ben put her there. What is she trying to accomplish?
I'm convinced that Ben is having Flashes or more than Flashes like Desmond. That's how he can play the game so many moves ahead.
Holli
The Miami Herald was shown just to reinforce the current date, there was no report of the missing flight in the Miami paper.
Thanks. I thought that was the case, but then I thought I was slipping.
Holli
Dr. Batmanuel should have circled the date on the paper... with his eyeliner pen.
She's there to get Sun. She's the next pregnant woman to experiment on.
I wonder if this talk in front of Kate will make her worry she's carrying a Skate-let?
Holli
I hope someone gets a good screencap of Ben's bookcases for Aimee. There looked to be an Encyclopedia Set. That could keep her busy for a while.
Holli
I really enjoyed this episode. We had to put up with a lot of shit this season, and the last few episodes have been great, and the next couple of eps look great.
I started to think this is getting really sappy (Juliet's flashbacks), but the ending (as much as I loved seeing that she's a rat) felt out of place. What is her motive for helping Ben? I'm sure he promised her ANOTHER way to get off The Island, but the entire episode felt like she despised Ben. Why would she willing to help Ben??? (Unless she's really playing him and is One Of Us)
~K
but if Juliet is planning to double cross Ben, wouldn't he be planning on that?
/too many layers, head asplodes
I'm trying to think through the Juliet thing too.
Damn, I hate her less. Jack I'm still mad at.
Holli
holli, need a reason to hate Juliet? she's voting for Sanjaya.
She did say that she was on her own. Also, Ben took her to the flame station in order to restore her "faith" in him. So, as far as he knows, she believes in him again. Doesn't Ben have a real complex about people thinking he's a liar?
April
still have an hour and 10 minutes. waiting sucks.
they triggered AN IMPLANT?!?!
they put a disease bomb inside of a pregnant woman?
If the writers ever try to make us sympathetic for BenCo again, i'm calling shenanigans.
andrew.
At the 6 month mark when the female Other dies and Juliet is sitting out on the rocks Ben invokes "Jacob" and Juliet looks awestruck. I wonder if Juliet has met Jacob or only heard about him?
Holli
I don't think anyone has seen Jacob...he's kinda like The Wizard of OZ, or Mr. Linderman in the first half of the season of Heroes.
I think he's powerful because he's the one funding everything...he has the power because he's got the money.
...no one except Ben Linus
Kim, Are you saying that Jacob is the cook? BTW only 12 (11 now I suppose) days until Heroes.
Holli
I wonder if Jack is playing her, not the other way around. He kept going out of his way to prove he trusted her.
I find it hard to believe he has fallen for her in a week. Jack seems like the kind of guy who would hold a grudge and not forgive easily.
But what could he get from her?
The clap?
Holli
Cook? :) No... I think Jacob obviously has a God-complex, and he's created that illusion with the scientists/Others on the Island.
The only bargaining leverage He has is that he can guarantee you a trip home. (If you don't get 'accidently' killed before you make it back)
Sorry Goofball, I couldn't resist and wanted to beat Palmer.
I agree that Jack was over the top in his trusting of her. Have he and Locke devised a plan? You go with Ben; I'll watch Juliet. How weird would that be.
Jack's plans are always just so bad and only manage to see about 1/2 a move ahead.
Holli
rrrrrroooooowwwwwrrrr! Some juliette hate goin on here.
Kim, I meant like Linderman in Heroes. If Jacob can cook Juliet might hold him in awe after what we've seen of her cooking skills.
Holli
It's good that they've got a kid that can't recognize constellations developing their oncological x-rays.
Oh SNAP!
Ben was probably BSing about Juliettes sister's cancer too.
Her cancer was in remission the whole time but he produces some fake medical records to show she is sick again.
Then he claims he will save her from cancer if she stays on the island.
This is getting hard to follow because everyone can and is BSing everyone else.
Holli...I knew what you meant ;) lol
~K
wow. juliet is hot. that seen where she's naked in bed with goodwin. man. i'd prolly fall for her lies too if i was jack. but i'd find a way to get her in the end. jack'll prolly just help her like he did kate. he's pussy whupped without the pussy. can you say pussy in here?
Ahhhhhh! I can't put my thoughts into words. Will...post...once...I....make...sense...of...all...this.
Grahahahfbafal.
Btw, the ep just ended on the west coast. lol.
well, we have to decide whether Juliette has decided to go along with Ben's plan. She could just be defiant. Even if she did not do what ben said, she would have still wanted to save Claire, who is totally going to die next week, i feel it. lets just hope that jack sings Catch a Falling Star to her.
Ok, here we go.
Something to think about.

.....damn, jules - i just feel used
More and more I'm thinking that, while it seems obvious that Danielle has not seen Alex until "Par Avion", it is very possible that Ben (or one of the company) has contacted her in the last 16 years.
eyes closing......(snore).......
Holli
There are so many options for the writers at this point. Will Juliet cross Jack and the 815ers, or double cross Ben?
Is Ben anticipating a double cross by Juliet--as already stated on this thread?
Do Jack and/or John have a plan aready set in motion?
How will the rest of the survivors factor into all this???
Again...HEAD EXPLODES
sometimes, LOST is pretty obvious. with Ben, we found a guy in a net and one of the characters said "This is an Other.
I don't think anyone is showing their cards...all playing very close to the chest.
I completely fell for Sawyer when he first spotted Kate on the beach *swoon* I truly believed he missed her to death
Holli
My favorite was how Sawyer hugged Kate. That my friends is how you want to be hugged when you've been missing for a week. And then Juliet ruins it. Bitch.
Holli
My favourite part was where Jules was sitting in the bed with her back bared to the camera. Some things are best left to the imagination, and that scene fuckin' did it for me, baby!
-J
My favourite scene was when Sayid and Sawyer went to question Juliet in the the jungle...and she totally called them out.
As much as she is not my favourite character, that was an amazing cock block for the woman!
Holli
Good point Holli!
I must admit, that moment was pretty sweet.
I felt for Sawyer, but Kate has him as a back-up which is totally unfair to Sawyer
well, was it fair of Sawyer to bang AnaLucia behind Kate's back?
sluts. all of 'em. :p
Palmer, you are right. It really is slutty hypocrite island. But Jack is being a moronic judge of character simply because he can't get no booty. With everything that's happened in the last three months there, he should know better than to believe he can trust anybody, regardless of circumstances.
Boobs,
Aimee
Aimee, wasn't "Slutty Hypocrite Island" a Fox show a few years back?
I think that was Intercourse Island. Or VD Island. Or something.
so, do we know why Claire was able to birthify turnip-head? or is that what juliet wants to know?
they prolly told us last night but i'm not coffee'd yet.
I don't think they were able to figure it out yet.
Or at least, Juliet created some sort of birthing steroids or whatever. I don't know. I have to watch it again to absorb that information.
Maybe chicks that conceive off-island are okay, and chicks that conceive on-island can't go full-term or something. That might explain why Claire and Rousseau were able to give birth, but no one else has been able to. Then the question will end up being when did Sun get jizzed up.
when didn't she? girl got around.
Well, I mean when did someone make the 'hole in one'.
that's not a flashback they can put on tv, aimee. not on network tv, anyhow.
so, is this the first time that any of our favorite castaways's have heard that Sawyer popped a cap in that shrimp seller in Australia? think Sayid gives a crap that he just learned that Sawyer is a cold blooded killer? maybe he's just like "oh. hey, we have something in common.
Duh.
mmm... kristanna loken...
who is rumored to be dating Michelle Rodriguez. LOST connection!
I'll throw in that 'ga-row' for you...
Kristanna & Michelle in Love? Ga-Row!
I feel like i have a lot on my plate already.
andrew.
That next on Lost promo happened so fast, and the Requiem music was so awesomely distracting because it's one of my all-time favorite score remixes that I really have to go watch it again in slow motion.
anyone know anything about submarines? is that a ww2 era sub? generic sub? any ideas?
i guess AnaLuLu isn't all bad, right?
aimee, any planned gimmicks for the next podcast? drunkcast has been done... return to the french cast? pig latin and banjo music cast?
/y-whay are-ay ere-they o-say any-may ongs-say about-ay ainbow-rays?
From Doc Jensen at EW Juliet doesn't like to cuddle after knocking boots, but she does like a pint of ice cream .
I give; I like her now.
Holli
why wait until afterwards for the desserts?
I dunno. She has surpassed Charlie as most annoying on the island for me.
someone is very close to some kablamo-ing. it's the calm before storm.
now, we wait.
Kablamo
HOlli
Kablamo?
Jonjon, don't mess with Holli when it comes to this stuff. lol.
Holli, good job. Well done.
Holli
hey, where can i find that cerebus pic? and will they pronounce it with a hard 'C' if they ever mention it on show?
You're totally right Holli! Sun better watch out too! Maybe this is the reason things have been playing out as "Slut Bag Island" of late. Watch as Sun, Kate, Claire, and a bunch of the log carrying women all get preggers and get all sick. It might just force a 815ers/others eventual truce of necessity. Yowzah!
Do you think they inserted triggerable chips in Jack, Kate and Sawyer like they did Claire? We saw the little band-aids and I was assuming they took blood, but maybe they've tagged them like a microchip in a dog.
Holli
Well, I'm finally posting... This BLOG spot is awesome (and it smells quite nice). I found it by way of "The Lost Initiative" podcast, which is also awesome. And speaking of awesome...Lost. Boo-Ya. Last nights ep was great, and I friggin' knew it! Juliet sucks. Yo, yo.
Brilliant Holli.
I am currently listening to Chuck Norris singing. Just thought you might enjoy knowing that. The eyes of the ranger are upon you.
Oooh, good point...I bet Jack, Kate, and Sawyer are all "tagged" now. It's not nice to be tagged.
And if it is a dog like microchip does that prove Vincent is Jacob?
Holli
holli, thanks for the link.
aimee, i have that mp3 bookmarked. nice to know that whenever you're in texas, a ranger is constantly stalking you. just waiting for an excuse to round house kick your face into oblivion. thanks, justice!
Vincent is obviously Jacob. I think this much is clear.
oh... even scarier about the Chuck Norris theme song... it's a multiple award winner. yup.
Chuck is Jacob. In a perfect world, that is.
Brooklyn needs to read the Chins book since he's a filmmaker. It might inspire him.
Chuck Norris is a multiple award winner in my heart. Basically beause he is a Master of Kara-ta-ta-tee. And lives in the Children's eyes.
And I shall read the Chins Book. I feel Chuck would want me to.
He can't have it until after me.
Holli
Kim, I agree that the scene where Juliet puts Sayid and Sawyer in their places was awesome.
Real quick, here is how I see it in terms of the outta control who really loves who crap. Ladies, help me out if I'm off with any of this. Jack seems into Juliet, Kate seems to be still into Jack, and Sawyer seems to be really into Kate. With the possible exception of Jack & Juliet (I really don't know what she's thinking right now), it seems that everybody is smitten with somebody who's digging on somebody else at the moment.
I'll wait in line. I'm a patient boy.
I want it after Brooklyn. I promise I will read it.
Gathering my thoughts to call into TLI.
Jordan, The preview seems to indicate that Kate reciprocates with Sawyer again.
Holli
ancillary pairings include Claire who's mildly into Charlie and Charlie who's really digging Claire. but then there's Turnip-Head who is the constant cock-block.
also, Rose and Bernard haven't been seen lately because they are constantly off in the woods getting it on. mr. gorpley is a friggin' machine.
I got it in the mail yesterday & I'm about half done with it already, so I'll ship it off to Holli probably on Monday. If Brooklyn really does want to read it (I was only jokingly suggesting - I have no idea if he has any interest in Bruce Campbell), then he can have next dibs.
How could I not have interest in Mr. Campbell? I would like it after Miss Holli. That would be loverly.
No problem Brooklyn. You can click on my profile and send me an email with your address.
Holli
Just call Juliet Justin Timberlake, because she's bringing sexy back.
Also, she was balling Goodwin. Anyone want to talk about that? AL killed her man, and then Michael killed AL, while acting for the Others. I'm pretty sure it's a coincidence, since what we saw in 3 Minutes made me think Mike came up with the particulars of the plan all by himself, but you never know.
The trigram on the sub is apparently associated with water, and North, and Luna. Does one sub with one trigram indicate there were seven other subs?
RIP Kurt Vonnegut.
Sweet...now I shall go click. Not like the movie "Click." No, that was no good.
it's a good read, everybody. bruce's other book isn't quite a biography like "If Chins Could Kill" but sort of a fake autobiography about events that never happened. still, they're both interesting. additionally, everyone should check out Bubba Ho-Tep sometime.
That's my chick perspective.
they were definitely after AnaLucia because of Goodwin. AnaLucia is a bad person who continued to do bad things once she got there.
thinking of AnaLucia reminded me of "Jack's Army" that he forgot to build. dumbass.
So, Mittelos led Juliet to believe she would be traveling by plane but took her to the island in the sub?
Could Juliet know about Sawyer killing the dude in Australia because Smokey was the stupid boar he tracked and it scanned him and reported back to the Others? The whispers were in that episode saying "It'll come back around" just like Duckett (not the real Sawyer) said when James (not the real Sawyer) Ford shot him.
Holli
But I don't think Smokey actually "works with" the others. They must have just found out that he killed the guy in Australia from their "File-o-Matic" that Patchy was working on.
But the Australian police didn't know that Sawyer shot Duckett. He was kicked out for fighting with some guy with a really long title (and therefore I'm betting little dick).
Holli
Hmmm...Well, maybe Smokey IS Jacob, and he's still looking for a body after not sucessfully getting one at Hogwarts oh so many years ago, and...yeah, I got nothing.
I think the files the Others get are not limited to news stories and police reports. I bet their outside agents go so far as to interview, interrogate, or shadow known associates of the 815'ers.
Benjamin, I think you're right on that one. The Police might not know, but I bet Sting does. They probably talked to him.
At the very least the Dream Police know. I mean, they live inside of my head after all.
Mrs. Hawking is working for Mittelos now.
i don't think that its unreasonable that the prime suspect in the killing of that shrimp vendor was the T-1000 guy in America as they have some sort of history (gambling debts or something?) then T-1000 could've just said "woah. wait up. james ford shot the guy. look at the flight tickets and hotel reservations."
all our LOSTies have a crapload of people willing to rat them out to the authorities and the Mittelos Bioscience investigators.
Or Desmond saw it in a flash and is working for Jacob. Or Desmond is Jacob and is working for himself. Or Chuck Norris. Whatever.
Chuck Norris is reading this blog and will roundhouse all of our asses if we continue to disrespect the Ranger.
Chuck Norris' finest moment!
/probably a repost
If the T-1000 gave up info, I'll be upset. I always trusted that bastard. And Mr. Norris, if you really are out there, then know there's no disrespect here. Only love and admiration for you and your Karate Commandos. And your Mustache. Or moustache if you wanna be fancy.
I'm going on record as saying Jin is not the father and neither is Jae. Sun was artificially inseminated by an unknown donor which ends up being Jacob or Ben. Therefore, conceiving pre island makes her safe. I wish I could say the same for Kate.
I think Bernard is the father. And I shall leave you with that.
Rock on.
I love it!!
I enjoyed the episode a lot. What I noticed:
Hmmm....
Welcome Robert.
Jimmy,
I'm with you on wondering about when the implant was put in - but I had an idea earlier in the blog:
Holli
The former Jater now Skater who reserves the right to revert to a Jater at a date future (that's lawyer speak)
Thanks for the welcome, Jimmy. Is is kosher to blast other Podcasts on this blog? My typing fingers are itching to make some comments as I have heard just about all that are out there.
Just finished watching and my brain has melted.
The Skaters won!
Also, Juliet is gonna snatch Sun.
welcome, robert. and brooklyn, too.
i think it's OK to vent about other podcasts a bit. maybe nothing too horribly vicious. we let aimee get vicious about certain podcasts for us.
so, it's funny that Claire thought about the tagged "Seabirds" now that we know that she was tagged with a remote control disease-releaser.
i'm still a Juliator/Kulieter. bow chicka bow wow. we need a rumble rematch.
can't you just see Jack and Sawyer relaxing on the beach and toasting with their DHARMA beer while kate and juliet wrestle in the foreground?
robert - the podcast purge is over but as long as it's funny I'll laugh.
I'm very interested to see where this incredible amount of arrogance comes from.
mb, they're arrogant because they are "good people." c'mon, jacob told them so.
You know - I just realized I've been rude in not welcoming Brooklyn, Robert, Appaulo, and anyone else I'm forgetting. Glad you could contribute!
After rescuing himself from a Miss Manners nightmare of a faux pas, MB is restored to Jacob's list.
Holli
mb - it's their island. That seems justification enough for them.
Palmer - I wanna see Island Wrestlemania, featuring a Kate vs Juliet Rematch and Sawyer vs Jin.
I'm backing Jack is playing Juliet. If not he's a fucking numptie.
As a Jater, I'm clinging to Lindeloff's 'Sawyer won the battle, but Jack may win the war' comment. If she and Sawyer 'bump uglies' again as it appears in the promo, I will just have to learn to dislike Kate.
Palmer -
That's exactly what I'm wondering.
Holli
Holli,
the list begins and ends with Chuck Norris. I see a roundhouse in my future.
jack as the master manipulator would be great.
jack gets the upper hand, is about to do something against ben, then ben reveals something earth-shattering that blows jack's mind, and then KABLAMO! season ends and we have to wait umpteen months for new episodes.
again.
Man - we are making this thread our bitch. 182+ posts and it's not even noon (my time).
claiming the entirety of Pacific Time as "your time" is pretty badass. don't f- with mb.
i'll set up another discussion page.
apologies, Holli.
I just won't like Jack if he gets conned. He'd be the soft touch. At least Juliet laid the guilt trip on Sawyer & Sayid.
So many answers and easter eggs. One answer I got from this was that the Others kidnapped the children to keep their 'culture' alive.
Does anyone know if the books in Ben's study were real? Could be a lot of reading for Aimee.
Holli
...shit palmer, you're right. Yet another roundhouse for MB (for my arrogance)
- POW -
Someones' head should roll over the obvious mistakes in her sister's medical records. The ECG tracing was from a 187 pound male. Oops...
I don't know how an ECG shows cancer either. There's a new thread now.
Holli
The ECG would only be an issue if she was really in the end stages of the disease, I mean really close to seeing the light.
Boooo....
