There aren't any promotional photos out for this week's episode, and the screen caps from the preview were all shitty looking, so I just used her character photo.
My thoughts for tonight are that it's going to be a big fat Juliet pity party, and just as soon as we start to feel sorry for her - WHAM! We find out she's a bad person. Or she dies.
that'd be a little ridiculous to kill her off on her first night there. but i like the idea that there'll be a twist at the end. good call, aimee.
also, in reference to the picture, boobs! thanks, aimee. you're the best.

I don't think they'll kill of Juliet. If they do, it will be in the Season 3 finale, or not at all.
Aimee I agree with the pity party. The writers did that with Pikki... well at least with Paolo (for me).
It's not that I HATE Juliet--that's such a strong word. She's just gotted "hard" over the years (lol...TWSS). I'd like to know what happened to her, but if she's using the 815ers, I'm not going to be happy

My prediction, not spoiler based, is that the Losties will put in a position of having to trust Juliet despite not wanting to because of some specialized skill set she brings to the group. No not Ninja skills, but OB pregnant mouse stuff and it will probably relate to Sun who is still way to skinny and not in an I've been puking my guts out way to be pregnant.

i think that juliet is gonna come up with a lie that everyone will buy into by epp. end. she will be allowed into camp then, but not fully trusted, speficly by sayid. the writers will draw this out longer then just tonight, and it will prolly go up to season's end with juliet on the beach.
Do you think Jules will tell the Losties Locke was in a wheelchair when he got on the plane?

also, I agree with MB. I prefer to read the big conversation and chip in with some banter. I love the blog format but it's not my headache to manage.
I like the conversational nature of the blog as well.
I think Juliet will tell the Losties about Locke because they will ask why Locke went with Ben or why Ben wanted Locke. Then cue the music. Because Locke was paralyzed. Insert mad scientist laugh here. It might shock the Losties enough to end/postpone their next question.

I just discovered re the Seattle Times that Elizabeth Mitchell now lives here in Seattle.
I think we will have a flashback ep from Jack that will show what happened in the 5 days that he took the ride on the boat, and from the moment he was playing football with Tom. It will be like "3 Minutes", and Locke will have one too.
I think Locke, Jack and Juliet all have a plan, and are working together!
Anyway...she's hot. Simple as that...no debate.
We havent met her parents yet. That may come up.

Jack's too immature to work with Locke after Locke ruined his plan to be Captain America and save everyone. I wonder if Juliet knows Jack said he'd come back for Kate. Jimmy, that's interesting about Elizabeth Mitchell living in Seattle. I would be totally freaked out if I was walking down the street and saw her. Lost infilrating normal life...YIKES! haha.
Some people are pro-original style, and some are against it, so I guess it doesn't really matter. I wanted to keep it old school for the sake of preserving the original SaS in the absence of our podfathers.
But since Craig has put his word in (if that in fact was him), he should do whatever he wants to with his blogspot, as he his the original creator/owner of it.
juliet will use science to impregnate Sawyer against his will. this will lead to a series of touching sawyer/hurley buddy-episodes.
if SAS goes to a BBS, we need a main thread that we can all post at much like this one. however, i do think that the blogspot helps keep ALL the info in one easy to post at place where people have the freedom to post anonymously (even our anonymous friends who put their name at the end of their posts).
Hurley's the Lamaze coach I guess. Hurley and Sawyer have been the Turner and Hooch of the Island lately. My husband's freshman year roommate was in Turner & Hooch.

/holy fuck, Terry O'Quinn was Kim Bauer's dad in that. sweet.
The O'Quinn has been in some of my favourite films, notably Old School, Young Guns and Heaven's Gate.
I even caught him in an 80's noir called Black Widow the other day. It's always a case of: "Holy shit - that's Terry O'Quinn I just saw for 10 seconds!"

I just got back from town. Holli, can you relate to that sentence? I saw a sign that read, "Vote For Lankanotvitch". Maybe not that exact name, but pretty close to it.
For a gift for the guys, I started to post a link to a video with Elizabeth Mitchell and Angelina Jolie making out. It asked me twice to confirm I was over 18 and it made me nervous. So, if you want to see it, google their names and video.
I hope One of Usis better than Left Behind. After thinking about it, I doubt as many people would have enjoyed last week's as well if there were no Smoke Monster.
Kimberley, I agree with Jordon. The quality of the podcast leaves you to believe you spend hours and hour editing. How long does it take?

On another note, would totally, totally love it if it turned out that Jack has actually got intimate with Juliet between the trip back to the Island the rescue....there are a few days missing (Locke, Jack, Juliette).
I still think they are working together, and "reluctantly".

Just like to say that I love Juliet. She's hot, she's intelligent, she's strong willed. So what if she's quasi-duplicitous ... that makes her an interesting character. An interesting female character. And that's something you don't find much on TV these days. She's one of the best characters on the show, effectively a more sympathetic, female equivalent to Ben.

Not that it's my call or anything. It's totally up to the big guys whose opinions count. But just my two cents real quick.
My reasons for liking it have nothing to do with sentimentality. I am not an old timer like the rest of y'all. But in my short time here, I've grown to love it. I love the stream of consciousness quality of this place. And I like the intimacy as well. I equate it to family dinner as opposed to everybody going to different rooms to eat. What will it be like without kablamos, firsts, and all the other stupid quirks of the blogspot? A BBS in my opinion would drastically damper the amount of nonsensical rhetoric that makes this places so much fun and make it much more Lost focused. But maybe that's the point? But to me, that's what makes this place stand out from all the other lost boards. I don't visit them because I can only so much theories and over-analysis. You guys rock regardless. It is all good in the hood. :)

Hey Steph, you can only get Shine on You Crazy Diamond when you buy the entire Wish You Were Hear Album. If you don't have the Album I think it's worth the price anyways.

I just have to say, I bought a He-Man best of season 1 and 2 DVD and got my 3 year old neice hooked on it now. She came over a little while ago and was begging to watch more He-Man!!
I tried explaining to her that she was awesome for loving a cartoon that was from 1983 - I was 3 years old when I first watched it too. She's humming the music to it right now as I'm typing.
