No problem. I always consider the "before" thread to be spoiler free, and the "after" thread to be spoilerful. I just wanted to clarify, so no one would be left out, since these episodes are becoming spoilerlicious.
i have a feeling that Claire will get pregnant, but lose the baby somehow. the doctor will tell her that she will never be able to have a child. due to this she looks to find her father, the only thing is, that her father can only be reached "By Air". Maybe she only comunicates with him through the mail, but with this new development of her losing her unborn baby, dad flies out to talk to her. he sings catch a falling star. the mom interferes and says that she does not want this father to ever return. this makes claire rebelious towards her mother, hense the black hair.
"Par Avion" is on just about every envelope that is posted internationally from at least every Commonwealth country that I am aware of. It will surely involve a letter...maybe delivered by postman Paulo?
aimee, i was accidentally directed to those pics. i am excited about that episode. i have a feeling that it will make or break those two characters. i am keeping my fingers crossed.
I've seen a lost sneak peek for March which has some clips from the expose ep. As this thread is spoiler free i won't say much, except that if any of the guys weren't nikki fans before, they soon will be!
expose pic 40 Is this the moment the sky turned purple??
Its got me thinking. Rose and bernard haven't made an appearance since the hatch implosion (also when desmondo went back in time and changed things). Pikki turn up after the hatch implosion. Anyone seen the film butterfly effect?? hmmmm..
Is Datty suggesting that the island transformed Rose and Bernard into Nikki and Paulo? Cause if so, I am sooo going to that island on my next vacation.
Spoiler Free in Season Three!! I'm vowing off Previously on Lost and Next Week on Lost. I don't even want to know who's episode is coming up. Gotta have a goal. Claire's cute blonde look is getting a little stale. I like the dark, smoldery look. Makes her blue eyes stand out more. I accidentally stumbled across the promo pics too. Resisting the urge to look.
hehe. I don't know if i'll be going to the island. i don't wanna end up being an annoying brazillian who does nothing except takes shits.
Rather than the island, its desmond that caused the character switch by going back in time and changing stuff. One thing i've gotta check is if benard disappears from behind claire's back when the hatch with "quarrantine" written on it lands at her feet in the s2 finale.
I still feel that Rose and Bernard are done. It didn't work, no one cares, and that's that. I think occasionally in the future Rose will say the occasional pearl of wisdom. Maybe someone will say "How's Bernard?", and she'll go on about how fucking hopeless he is. If there's ever a toothache on the Island, he will get a few scenes...but that's about it.
I thoroughly believe I am onto something with my Nikki Paulo ep prediction...but it might just be the case that we literally get a human interest story. Sort of "How everyone else viewed Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Locke etc". People like Arzt bitching about them being egotists...like I said earlier, maybe Shannon and Nikki liked to tan together...I don't fucking know.
Jimmy, this is one of those things that could go either way. I mean, they could pull out an amazing expose about something similar to your theory, or they could show us the Rosencrantz and Guildenstern of Lost Island. Flip a coin, mate.
Ben, I'm actually starting to lean towards the "Rosencrantz" angle. An overview of the show as seen by the background people. That would actually be really cool.
Remember the DS9 ep when they had to go back in time and ended up being part of "The Trouble with Tribbles"? Very good episode, though only needed for it's quirk value. Hmmm....
Just thinking that around about this time last season we ended up with the episode "The other 48 days", which in many ways added a few new layers to a familiar story
e.g. Boone talked to Bernard via walkie talkie just before his death. We all went "Ahhhh!"
Yeah, it's cool to see the backside of water from time to time. As long as my suspension of disbelief isn't stretched by having these previously unknown characters somehow take a pivotal role in prior events. That was indeed a fun episode of DS9, but it certainly can take one out of the reality.
There's a graphic novel or TPB about similar characters called Bink and Tag who are the Rosencrantz and Bernardenstern of the Star Wars universe. I've never read it, but it seems funny.
That's hilarious that our pre episode discussion is more involved with the one 2 weeks from now, not the one tonight. Nobody cares about poor little squinchy anymore, and her poor little island baby.

Nice wig.
The wig is pretty fake looking but the girl looks good as a brunette. Ga-row!
Prediction: Claire pierces Charlie's ear and he dies from the infection by episode 16.
Eat that, Desmond.
i am not a fan of goth chicks, and claire is looking pretty goth...she should stick to the blonde thing
I dont like Goth Chicks, i dont like CLaire, but i have to tell you. she is looking good in that pic.
Now if we can get her to be a redhead, i might be able to be down with the squinchy.
Aimee, i am glad you put *spoiler free* zone on the description, that way ben and i can be part of the discussion.

I predict Claire will be full of spunky Australian teen angst that involves some mommy and daddy issues. And squinchyness.

I predict Claire's mom met Claire's dad in, oh, I don't know, Los Angeles, because she traveled "By Air" and got her groove on.
Par Avion is French for "Mile High Club".
I love Goth chicks!
Claire looks so much more appealing in that picture, in my opinion.
That said, we know what people think of my taste, so I'll leave it right there :)

Speaking of trash, did anyone check out the promo photos for 3x14 Expose at Lost-media.com? They look AWESOME.

They don't give away much if anything, but it looks nice. I'm definitely looking forward to it.
i tried looking for those pics but i got distracted by maggie grace.

holy crap! transsexual island.
The mysteries deepen...
The mysteries, and my arousal!

Claire has become pretty boring recently.
Hopefully this ep wlll spice up the interest/intrigue in the character.
this episode was awesome
