Jordan, Slumdog is here; it's been here for several weeks, but only at the oldest, non-stadium theater in town and playing at a time when I can't use school as the babysitter to go see it. I was hoping they were going to add screens in the city as they went wide release.

Yeah. we were gonna do that this week. Since ryan was off manning a submarine (it's true) and couldnt join us for the recording, i asked if he wanted to do the Knee Jerk Reaction for this week. He was going to do it, but when i finished watching LOST i was like, it's way too late at night, so i sent him a text message and told him to not do it.

I'd guess they won't take Ji Yeon Andrew given the 70 hour window and the fact that Sun is planning to be in LA that whole time while Ji Yeon plays in Seoul with Grandma. Hard to see how you'd convince Sun to go in that case.

RE: THA KID's point about Sun - I see what you are saying about Sun having an established history of lying, but her behavior now, with Widmore and with Kate, is different because she is displaying a confidence that was not there before. She's not just being deceptive, she seems to have a plan which requires her to act with more saavy than she has ever displayed before.
When she was dealing with her marital problems before the crash - she didn't confront Jin, she tried to run away.
Plus it seems like there may be a decent amount of resentment and blame (for Jin's 'death') driving her actions now - that's new for her.
She's never been this calculating until now.
When she confronted Jin's mom, while it did take balls, it wasn't THAT calculating - more an emotional act of protection toward Jin.
So, maybe I'm missing something - but she seems to be acting like a different person than she was in the pilot - her behavior has actually changed quite dramatically. That's why I chose her as most changed character.
Boy it was fun to laugh with the Dharmalars again. Ralph, I like your Island moving analogy. Any ideas why it's taken those who left 3 years to go back and fix the problem? Seems like the problem happened right away on Island and they've already jumped how many times? I can't imagine surviving 3 years of that.
As for the Green Shirts -- I already have my 3-D glasses. I got mine at a very large Kroger in town. They were in a special display of beverages at the front of the store.
And finally, guess what extremely cool thing I got in the mail today? An autograph signed to me by none other than that Locke shooter himself -- William Mapother. I'll take a photo and link to it later this afternoon.

I want an autograph from Miguel Ferrer - he's best thought of as George Clooney's cousin, except I know of Miguel first and thought he was cool for a number of years before I encountered George (and that first viewing of Combat Academy doesn't count).
Maybe he (Faraday) just hung out with his mom too much...and never really played with kids. He just hung out in her chamber of crazy...

Why did they say "Cut off Juliette's OTHER hand?"
It was they way the chap chose to word his threat - the idea being that they would cut off ONE of her hands just to show they were serious, and that the other hand would be spared if their questions were answered satisfactorily.
They said something like "the first one is non-negotiable".
That's right. I remember now.
Chris JC is wrong. The guy meant other hand as in, "Juliet the Other's hand".
