it's just Purdue like you'd get at any ol' store. we were at a wholesale club looking for some kind of frozen chicken so i thought i'd try your lunch from the other day.
we're big on dinners that take twenty minutes or less to cook. :)

For dinner in 23 minutes or less, you really can't beat the Dharma Chicken Pot Pie. Just pop it in the microwave for 15 minutes on high, then 8 minutes on 42% power, and kablammo! instant meal.
So, I was in NJ recently, and needed to fly home out of Newark on Friday night. Well, my freakin flight was delayed to the point that I couldn't get home when I was supposed to. I've since heard that flights out of Newark are delayed A LOT. Anyone else here have experience with that airport? I'll probably be going back to Jersey from time to time, and maybe I should just go ahead and start scheduling an extra night...
Also, did anyone catch the show "Traveler" last Wednesday? Sorry if you've already discussed, but I've been away and unable to read the blogspot. (stuck in Newark...)

If you haven't seen Knocked Up...run to the theatre and see it now! My only (minor) complaint--it was about 30 mins too long. However, it was hilarious!!!
if it wasn't for having an empty wallet I'd be seeing that film right now.
I have been suprised to hear how good "Knocked Up" aparently is (only b/c it looked pretty average from the promos). I will have to find some time to see it - I liked "40 Year Old Virgin" by the same director.

Well, it's not masterpiece as far as books go with the one page chapters and all, but I admire BC for his hard work. Surprisingly, he's a serious actor. There were a few tears, like at the booksigning in his hometown, but overall very humorous and enjoyable. I plan to pick up his next book this week. What do you know? This may actually get me back into reading. I may even pick up Memoirs of a Geisha and finally finish it from last summer.
books are cool. one day, i'll read another book. we should all use Aimee as our book reading idol.

Steph, did you like the book?? And I saw "Knocked Up" and it is quite HIGH-Larious... Also, I saw "Superbad," which comes out at the end of August and it is also quite hilarious. Perhaps even funnier...

Not sure if there's any Soprano's fans on the blogspot or not, but did anyone watch last night? Holy cow... Doesn't look like it's gonna end well for T.
I'd like to make a plea for no Sopranos spoilers - it's very selfish of me since I have 7 unwatched episodes sitting on my computer. I just haven't had enough time to sit down and enjoy them as they should be enjoyed - with a cigar and a 7 & 7.
Looking forward to some great podcasting this week - J&J's Ramblecast, The 'Lars, and, hopefully, TLI ;)
I can respect that, Elias (or, at least, no spoilers without ample warning). With the show ending next week, you might want to get caught up, thought ... it's going to be tough to avoid being spoiled.
On another note ... how is it that there's no spoilers at all about the last couple of Sopranos, but every year the finale of Lost gets 100% spoiled? What's Cusalof doing wrong?
Damn Elias, Get with the program! Next week is the final ep. Gonna be hard not to be spoiled once that happens.

I'll try to watch one every night this week but I might have to go for a marathon at the weekend. Crazy that I haven't bothered to watch them - it's only one of my all time favourite shows.
I don't know. After watching what's his name die of cancer for an entire hour, I just can't get back into the Sopranos. I don't know what's happening but I don't forsee a happy ending for Tony.
Sopranos prediction:
Tony Soprano gets eaten by the polar bear.
That cancer episode was tough to watch, but imo compelling, and incredibly realistic. Not many shows would do an episode pretty much structured around the cancer death of a minor character.

Elias - i'll try to be good about Sopranos spoilers but it's really tough. That show has become such an institution that it's hard to believe that it's really going to end next week. I'm really enjoying this season, because i love the characters so much, but, sort of along the lines of Stephanie's problem, the season's structure has been kind of uneven, with plot development comming in weird bursts.
-i'd be happy to get in the Chin book queue. Evil Dead 2 was an early favorite.
-i got today off, and i'm spending it doing spring cleaning. i just finished reorganizing my records, which takes forever because i get caught up in how i'm going to split up the genres, and where some groups fall. i think that's secretly half the fun of having a library of records, books, DVDs...
-i'm 3 hours into the Lost Lowdown 13 hour megathon, and i think they're halfway through recapping the episode. i can't really imagine what they're going to talk about for 10 more hours. i'll drop them like crying baby as soon as the new TLI drops in our laps though.

I agree with the problems with plot develpment. I'll be vague so as not to spoil, but it seems like a whole bunch of things have happened over the past 3 or 4 episodes; it's almost overwhelming. The events with Dr. Melfi over the past 2 weeks have seen particularly rushed. Early in the year, there were a lot of episodes where not much of anything happened (remember Vito's son in the shower?) ... I'm not sure why they couldn't have paced the more interesting things throughout the year instead of bunching it all together at the end.
And Andrew, if you make it through those 13 hours, you deserve a medal.
13 hours? that's kind of past the point of amusing and into the realm of incurring hurtful comments.
who the hell podcasts for 13 hours?! and why would someone listen to all 13 hours?!

So my wife is out of town at her family reunion. It's almost 9pm, and I've just realized that if I want to avoid starvation, I need to feed myself. Fortunately I found a tub of chili in the back of the freezer. Good thing I'm sleeping alone tonight.
And anonymous, the podcast is delayed by a week or so. Hopefully it's coming soon. Just remember that the good things in life are worth waiting for.

I get to screen a lot of films before they come out for free, and I was at the one for "Hot Rod" and right after meeting Andy Samberg and just before it started, I decided to go. It just felt so...wrong. Kinda like "The Ring 2."
Or "The Ring" come to think of it...
Andy Samberg is funny in small doses. He's very similar to Jimmy Fallon in that way. I think he's funnier than Fallon. They both play the funny guy who tries to be cute but act like he isn't trying. Adam Sandler wannabe #1 & #2.
