Those are the most patriotically dressed pilgrim & indian I've ever seen. Wow.

I'm going to try and eat at little as possible, which I predict will become more than anyone else, as soon as I see my sister-in-laws banana pudding.

Have a great Thanksgiving to all the U.S. residents - have a great "Thursday" to all our international blog patrons, and anyone who might be a Thanksgiving Atheist.

Casey, that looks fucking extraordinary.

There is plenty to do, Mike. Like watch the parade, play football, watch football, play croquet. I did none of this. I tried to sleep.

I had banana pudding also, Aimee. And a taste of a few more desserts except the sugar-free apple pie.

Anyone shopping today? I'm not. I do need to get my hands on one of those wii's, though.

Did you ever have a teacher in school that got hammered during class?

This question was asked on the radio this morning. I immediately thought of my 6th grade teacher that would get messed up in class and talk about cooking her weenie dog and eating it. Her uncle was the principal. That's the only reason she was hired at that school. Anyone else with a story to share?

i got to spend the day with dogs and cats and eat yams. So despite some awkwardness between some people, which resulted in dessert being cancelled, it was a good day.
i really want pumpkin pie though.

Actually Steph, I didn't end up getting any banana pudding...or TURKEY!! The turkey wasn't cooked in time for everyone to eat it, so we ended up having to take some home.

I had a turkeyless Thanksgiving and didn't get banana pudding either. I did get a text message from Ralph, which made it a little more interesting, but otherwise it was all "quality family time" and junk. Chile Biscuit had fun!

I will be braving Wal-Mart today, but that's the only place I plan to go to; I've already done all my real shopping.

that message was filled with inuendo. i am not a fan of plain old turkey, so i did not have any, and as tradition goes, i did not recieve any leftover turkey to make myself one of my all time favorites...turkey sandwiches. thanks america, you can lick my nuts.

I have to be in the mood, with the tree up and everything to start shopping.
We had a disappointing turkey too. Mom-in-law bought the wrong kind. It was some sort of turkey loaf, had the taste of turkey but not the texture.
Aimee, are you watching this Arkansas and LSU game? This is why I love the SEC.

I've been setting up Christmas junk and wrapping presents all day while Brian burns leaves, so I haven't watched any football. I don't really watch Arkansas football anyway.

So my Thankgiving I had a thick bloody cut of prime beef wrapped in bacon and salad. Gorgeous!
Lemon sorbet to finish...

Salmon encrusted in baked wasabi and roasted vegetables tonight.

Shit, it's rough being me!
