I control the explicit tag, I decided to put it on this week on the account of Dylan's awful, vulgar, and useless mouth.

I thought Hurley's comment about Bernard being a dentist was a nod to the fans commenting on Anna L getting work done on her teeth sometime between when she's having a drink in the lounge during the season one flashback and now (they look really differnt know versus season one). The only way that could happen in the Lost-universe is if she got the work done on the plane, thus Bernard must have done it.

Haha, good point Dan :)

I wasn't a fan of the Toronto Girl's segment

Really, Kimberley did an excellent job!

Hey guys! Mike from Manchester, UK here. I have this clip that I think you'd like to see.

Chuck Norris Wins!

Now there's a video game that got it right!

Loved the outtakes at the end of the last-but-one show where you repeatedly start the show over and over. More! Especially if they're put to such good music. You guys are confirming your status as my favourite podcast more every week. Can't wait for the next episode, hopefully I'll get an insightful comment in to you guys in time for the podcast. Also, I hope that you read this because that Chuck Norris gif is amazing.

Man, I thought about trying that morse code-dharma logo thing a while ago, but never had time to sit down and do it. That sucks that nothing really came out of it. Oh well, at least I didn't waste my time (even though I'm sure I will someday anyway). It's about time we all heard some bad religion on the show, so get off your taints and play some already. Jorge Garcia rules.

Thanks for doing such a great job on the podcast. You asked about the code on the box with three lines, some broken.

The box itself looks like the I Ching. (Pronounced E-ching I was told) I was reminded of a Sci-Fi book I read a while back called The Man in the High Castle, a book by Philip K. Dick. I re-read parts of it and it has to do with judgments in several individuals’ life based on the flip of coins. It also has to do with an alternate reality after WW2 in which Japan and Germany have won the war and are dividing the world. This reminded me of Dharma and Hanso… I may reread this book carefully and see if there is anything else.

Aimee! Great call on Bad Religion. Enough of this emo crybaby Cure cover crap.

I actually petitioned Craig to do an entire podcast over the Slayer album Reign in Blood. He said he would do it, but a promise from Craig is as useless as anything from my vulgar, useless mouth.

And sorry, Elvis, I forgot. Which is weird because you're Always On My Mind. Next time.

And for those of you who can read English better than Craig, here's my actual response to Matt's question "Does the show get you laid?"

Craig has a girlfriend, so no. The only lady action I've received since starting this has been from girls with whom I've never discussed the podcast. It has gotten me the following in descending order:

1. Email
2. Confused stares at the mention of the word "podcast"
3. Unrealistic suggestions about using it to get a job
4. $3.20 from Google AdSense
5. Organized

Anyway, thanks for listening, and we'll try to "keep it up."

So how did you spend the $3.20?

I'd be interested to know what other shows you guys like (obviously The Office), but I'm curious what else... I love me some Battlestar Galactica, Veronica Mars, and 24; all of which has some mystery to them like Lost. Season 1 of BSG and VM are out on DVD, if you haven't seen them - highly recommended.

I'm not quite sure how, but I do manage to stay busy enough to not watch a whole lot of television. Lost is the only one I currently try to watch when it airs. Craig usually shows me the latest episodes of The Office on his DVR. Otherwise I like to watch Everybody Hates Chris, America's Next Top Model, Project Runway, 60 Minutes, Now and Antiques Road Show, if I happen to catch any of those. Special mentions to Arrested Development and Stella, which I'm afraid I must now live without. My favorite sitcom all-time is News Radio, favorite drama is The Sopranos.

And I've invested the $3.20 in titanium futures.

Lost (duh), CSI, CSI:NY (but only because I talk to Gary Sinise's dad), The Office, and Scrubs. By default of being married, I'm forced to watch Nascar and A LOT of food network shows.

Is MySpace owned by Rupert Murdoch or is Boston just too liberal to allow conservative news?

Scott and Steve said...

NASCAR and ANTM are things you really have to try in order to understand their appeal. I say this from the perspective of a convert on both issues. This was also true of Lost. Once I understood the mechanics of how these things worked, it was easy to stay interested.

Also, I should mention that if I had more access to channels that played nothing but music videos, I probably wouldn't watch any other television.

Wow, I found Kimberly's segment great - well produced, fully researched, and informative; kind of the "Ying" to the normal MYOKOMwSAS "Yang". Not sure what the complaint was, but I'm looking forward to more from her...

Personally, I would have saved the $3.20 for a bitchin "Digital Attitude" tatoo, but that's just how I roll.

Hey, the bars surrounding the dharma logo are like the I-Ching. here is some information about it and how to "read" the bars.

I know I'm in the minority, but I also didn't like Kimberly's segment, but it's only because I found her music highly distracting, otherwise it was interesting.

Show off...

I know that you talked about the music being by Glenn Miller and the radio station, but did you mention that Glenn Miller is another person who disappeared? His airplane vanished during World War II.

Great show. I disagree with Kimberly about Cassidy catching Sawyer out though. I thought that he let her catch him trying to con her as part of his (successful) long con of her.

:(

Already haters for the LOST Diary. Boo-earns!

Pam, after watching the Long Con for a 2nd time, I agree with you about Sawyer setting Cassidy up for a greater part of his Long Con...I put the report together right after the show to air the next morning here in Toronto, and that was my first impression.

Amanda, I agree with you about the music...it was a last minute decision. There was this
F*%$ING annoying hiss I couldn't get rid of. So I covered it up with music...bad call on my part, but thanks anyway!

Scott & Steve, as always awesome show! Rusty's theme song had me laughing out loud!

Peace.

Katie,

Personally, I really don't enjoy watching Nascar; I only do it because I don't have a choice if my husband's watching it at home. Going to a race - now that is actually a lot of fun. It's just like a concert - but without all the music. It's loud, people get drunk, everything's overpriced, you get dizzy, and a lot of people smell like b.o. - see? just like a concert.

Correction: I just listened to this, and I realize that I referred to Rupert of the Gorillaz. There is no such character, I meant to say Murdoch. I'm not sure if that was the influence of the Australian news tycoon. Also I alluded to the Chemical Bros. doing tracks with Bernard Sumner. I meant Bernard Butler, though perhaps the Bros. should contact Mr. Sumner as I believe that would be an inspired collaboration.
